When Brightcove bought Ooyala, it was a rough start as they didn't have all the features we needed that Ooyala has. But they didn't let that stop them from keeping our business. They connected me with the engineering team and built the platform to be exactly what we needed. Brightcove has been great for our video hosting needs. We host most of our videos on our website in Brightcove, and we also use their live module for virtual events and livestreams, both internal and external. Some of the interactivity and branding of galleries isn't as evolved as I'd like it to be, with limited customization options for galleries. playlists, etc. Would love more out-of-the-box interactivity for videos without have to purchase additional products. Since livestreaming seems to be a strong use case for you, I did want to note that if you're looking to further build on your live strategy, we've recently announced a more strategic partnership with Socialive which helps extend Brightcove's live capabilities and give you more control over the initial production of your content.
When it comes to interactivity, we have some exciting improvements for '24. We're also working on better Marketo integrations which will also help strengthen the connection between our solutions.

Both philosophically and technically, the team at Brightcove has anticipated our needs and has already thought through many of the pain points we experienced and felt with video content management and livestreaming. For example, their content management system solved almost all our internal content management problems right out of the box. I am excited to have a partner of this caliber to work with on a regular basis. This really does shine in their support process as well.
