Barley Reviews & Product Details

Barley by Brewlytics is a customer intelligence and loyalty platform for independent craft breweries, taprooms and brewpubs. Most taprooms know their beer inside out but not the people drinking it: the point of sale records tabs, not guests. Barley connects to Square (Toast is next on the roadmap) and turns each tab into a guest profile with visit history and taste preferences. What it does: - Beer Taste Genome: scores every beer on your tap list by style, hop profile, bitterness, sweetness and food pairing, then builds a taste profile for each guest using taste matching and collaborative filtering. - AI bartender: recommends from what's pouring right now, weighted for freshness and variety, in the taproom and through a website chat widget. - Loyalty and mug clubs: visits, spend and member status tracked from POS data. - Marketing automation: segmented SMS and email for new releases and for regulars who haven't been in for a while. - Digital taproom displays: tap lists that stay in sync with your inventory. - Revenue insights: what's selling, when your rushes hit and which pours drive revenue. Privacy: taste profiles stay private and only transfer between participating breweries with the guest's permission. Pricing: free plan; Pro is $99 per month plus $0.20 per active customer.
