What do you dislike about Breakroom?

While Breakroom offers a unique virtual meeting experience, occasional connection issues and firewall restrictions for clients have posed challenges. The learning curve for first-time users, though understandable, may benefit from a more in-depth tutorial. Additionally, the need for extra charges for higher-quality content streaming is thought to justify to management. It's a neat tool, but I don't know that users want to repeatedly have meetings with it. If anything I think it's very nifty for one-off onboardings or conferences. What do you like best about Breakroom?

Our Breakroom experience has been great. The team created a customized world for our virtual skills training that represents the work environment of our participants. What do you dislike about Breakroom?

We've had some connection issues at times, but thankfully, the team was able to resolve most issues in a timely manner. Occasionally the site is blocked for some of our clients by their firewall, which makes joining the session difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Breakroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Breakroom to host our live, virtual skills-based training sessions for long-term care employees. We converted our live training to the virtual environment, and the team was able to help us preserve the interactive nature of the training in the virtual space. We can now scale our services to a national level and bring the training to more participants. What do you like best about Breakroom?

The overall performance compared to other platforms I've used in the past is breathtaking. It runs smoothly and keeps the momentum. What do you dislike about Breakroom?

Although it allows for users to get familiar with the virtual world, there is a slight learning curve (which is understandable) when starting up for the very first time. "This is the future of events and networking!"

What do you like best about Breakroom?

The ability to easily interact with so many people in spaces that match the size of a traditional conference or convention is amazing. It really feels like the future when everyone around you is a real person who you can spark up a conversion with right there on the showfloor where others can join in, or instead take it to a more private meeting room where you can talk 1-2-1. The ability to have separate group meetings is also well done where you actually feel rude standing up and walking away! It's next-level immersion where you almost feel like you're at the physical event. I can easily see conferences of the future being hosted this way, allowing easy and natural networking access to anyone in the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Breakroom?

The platform can start to struggle a little with high numbers of users. However, every time I've used Breakroom I've seen improvements in performance each time with sessions reaching close to 1000 users at once in the same environment which is pretty impressive!

The UI needs a little more work I think, but again I've seen this come a long way from the early days of this platform. To be honest, it's mostly tweaks to the interface and ability to smoothly scale up events to over 1000 users I'm looking forward to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Breakroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

The challenge of bringing people together from all over the world can be very expensive, time-consuming and stressful!

With Breakroom you have the ability to instantly transport everyone to a single space and interact as you would in the real world without having to worry about flights, accommodation, food and sore feet!

What do you like best about Breakroom?

Breakroom looks and performs fluidly with some great user-friendly UI and functionality. It makes the stale and boring elements of gatherings and conferences and practically gamifies them to make the experience more enjoyable and immersive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Breakroom?

Breakroom is still in development and as a partner involved with helping to test the platform, I've seen it in both some of its worst and its best states. So I don't think it would be fair to list negatives or things I dislike at this stage when the platform is continuing to deliver daily improvements and feature sets. What problems is Breakroom solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a testing service, we're working with the Breakroom team to stress test user load and iron out bugs, glitches and exploits that our testers report following each test phase. The stability and performance of Breakroom has steadily improved from test to test and we're so happy to be the ones helping them reach their goals and making something truly unique in this space. "The future of virtual meetings!"

What do you like best about Breakroom?

I’ve attended a couple of virtual meetings in Breakroom now, and although it takes a little getting used, only because it’s so different to anything I’ve tried before, you really do feel like you are in the room and an active participant, even though you are thousands of kilometers away. I also loved that by using my avatar, I didn’t have to have my camera on the whole time and feel like I’m on display, which is much more relaxing and allowed me to concentrate on the subject matter and not worry that my kids or anything else behind me would be a distraction. What do you dislike about Breakroom?

Nothing really. Like I said, it takes a bit of getting used to, but that’s because it’s like nothing else I’ve ever tried before, and after the first meeting it was a piece of cake Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Participating in meetings with other stakeholders spread out across continents and time zones. Because its not ‘someone’s’ meeting like Zoom where one person has the controls, it creates a much fairer structure where everyone has equal representation and a voice - just as if you were sitting round a table in person. What do you like best about Breakroom?

I love the fact you can create a whole new world, you can customise your avatars and fly. The teleporting tool is very handy to get everyone in the same place or to be able to find someone quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
