"Faster, Cleaner Browsing with Brave’s Built-In Privacy Protection"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brave?

Brave’s built-in ad and tracker blocking has made my day-to-day browsing noticeably faster and far less cluttered than standard browsers. That’s especially helpful given how much time I spend researching documentation and testing web-based tools across different projects. Because it’s Chromium-based, the interface stays clean and familiar, so there’s essentially no learning curve for anyone already used to Chrome.

Extension compatibility has also been reliable. Chrome extensions I depend on—like the dictation tool I use for logistics research—work as expected, without any noticeable functionality gaps. I see the biggest performance improvement on pages packed with ads and trackers, since there’s simply less content loading on each visit.

The fact that it’s free with no subscription cost makes the ROI straightforward. Onboarding took almost no effort, because switching from Chrome felt immediate thanks to the shared extension ecosystem. Overall, the privacy-first approach—blocking trackers by default without needing extra extensions—has reduced setup overhead compared to manually configuring privacy tools in other browsers. What do you dislike about Brave?

Some websites occasionally break or render incorrectly because the tracker blocking can be a bit too aggressive. When that happens, I have to manually tweak the shield settings on a site-by-site basis to get everything working properly. Certain web apps and dashboards that depend on specific tracking scripts or cookie behavior for core functionality sometimes require Brave Shields to be turned off entirely, which undermines some of the built-in privacy benefits in those situations.

Sync across devices has also felt a little less seamless at times compared to more established browser ecosystems. On top of that, support resources for troubleshooting specific site-compatibility problems seem more limited than what you get with larger browser vendors. Finally, the crypto and rewards features are optional, but they still add a layer of UI clutter for users like me who aren’t interested in that side of the browser. "Fast, Privacy-Focused Browsing with Built-In Ad and Tracker Blocking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brave?

What I like most about Brave is that it feels fast and privacy-focused. I also like the built-in ad and tracker blocking, which makes browsing cleaner and more comfortable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brave?

What I dislike about Brave is that some websites don’t always work properly with the built-in ad and tracker blocking. It can also take some time to get used to if you’re coming from another browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Clean Browsing with Strong Privacy Right Out of the Box"
4/5
What do you like best about Brave?

I like that Brave delivers a fast, clutter-free browsing experience without requiring extra extensions. The built-in ad and tracker blocking makes pages load noticeably faster and keeps my workspace free from distractions. Because it is built on Chromium, it supports all the standard developer extensions I rely on, and the interface feels familiar and easy to navigate. I use it daily for both work and personal browsing, and I appreciate that the privacy protections are active by default rather than buried in advanced settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brave?

Occasionally, the aggressive blocking breaks certain websites, especially dashboards or embedded media that rely on third-party scripts, so I have to manually adjust the Shields settings for those sites. I also feel the browser includes more built-in features than I need; the crypto wallet and rewards program are not relevant to my workflow and can make the settings menu feel crowded. "Fast, Clean Browsing with Strong Built-In Privacy—No Extensions Needed"
5/5
What do you like best about Brave?

We like how Brave combines strong privacy protection with a fast, streamlined browsing experience right out of the box. Its built-in ad and tracker blocking noticeably reduces clutter and helps pages load faster without needing extra extensions or setup. We also appreciate that it feels familiar and works well with most Chrome-based websites and extensions. That said, some of its extra features like crypto integrations can feel unnecessary, and the aggressive blocking occasionally breaks certain websites. Even with those trade-offs, we still find Brave to be a solid choice for a more private and efficient everyday browsing experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brave?

What we don’t particularly like about Brave is that it sometimes feels like it’s trying to do too much. Features like crypto wallets, rewards, and other built-in tools can feel unnecessary when all we really want is a clean, privacy-focused browser. We’ve also run into situations where Brave’s aggressive blocking breaks parts of websites or causes certain pages not to load properly, which means having to tweak settings manually more often than we’d like. While none of these issues are serious enough to stop us from using it, they do make the experience feel a little less seamless at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Low weight web browser and best for privacy"
5/5
What do you like best about Brave?

Brave is one of the best open-source browsers available in the market. It is also good at blocking online advertisements. It is a Chromium-based browser with a built-in cryptocurrency wallet. As it is a low-weight browser, it consumes less memory and does not slow down your computer. It also has an inbuilt PDF reader, and there are thousands of extensions. It supports almost every platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brave?

There's nothing in this browser that I dislike, but there are two things they need to improve that: 1: User-interface is not good enough 2: There are no constant updates like Chrome and lack some of the features that are there in other browsers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Browser with Rewarding Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brave?

I love the high-speed browsing of the Brave browser and its lack of pop-up ads. The reward system in BAT tokens is the most appealing aspect for me. I appreciate that the software runs websites without any ads, directly redirecting to my searches. The interface is cool, easy to set up, and changes daily, showing recent searches at the top. I also like its own VPN. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brave?

I notice that when I download files over 500 MB, the download speed slows down, especially with movies. Otherwise, everything else is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Privacy-Focused Browsing with Blazing Performance"
5/5
What do you like best about Brave?

What I like most about Brave is its built-in privacy protection and ad blocking. In most browsers, you have to install separate extensions for better privacy, but these features are already available in Brave. It automatically blocks ads, trackers, and unwanted scripts, which makes websites load faster and reduces background clutter. Now, managing privacy settings has become easier. Brave being chromium-based is also great because it provides good compatibility with most websites and exchanges. The interface is very clean and easy to use. For me, this is the most valuable feature, which is why I use Brave. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brave?

Yes, on some websites, the ad blockers and tracker blocking don't work very well. So, we can disable the ad blocker that is sealed. However, this doesn't cause much trouble because we have the option to disable the ad blocker. This is the only thing I find about it; otherwise, the biggest improvement is in the mirror aspect, or its website compatibility and feature simplification could also be possible. "Ad-Free Browsing with Automatic Blocking"
5/5
What do you like best about Brave?

It doesn’t show ads; they’re automatically blocked. In other browsers, I see a lot of ads, but not here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brave?

I want AI built in, and I want it to help me everywhere. For example, if I’m searching for a topic, I’d like to press Ctrl + I (or something similar) and have a small window open that works like a chatbot. It should provide information like Perplexity, so I can ask questions right there instead of opening a new web page and then navigating to an AI app to get responses.
