## Braindate Reviews
  ### 1. Braindate Makes Event Networking Intentional, Seamless, and High-Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda P. | Senior Event Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate transforms networking from something passive into something intentional and meaningful. Instead of hoping attendees connect with the right people, Braindate creates a structured, welcoming environment where those conversations actually happen. The platform makes it incredibly easy for attendees to find others who share their challenges, interests, or expertise, and the quality of those conversations is consistently high. It’s one of the few event tools that truly elevates the attendee experience.

The most helpful aspect is how seamlessly Braindate blends into the overall event flow. The setup is simple, the interface is intuitive, and the onsite hosts make the experience feel polished and supported. From an organizer perspective, it removes the guesswork — the marketplace fills itself, the scheduling is automated, and the analytics give us real insight into what topics matter most to our community. It’s a turnkey way to deliver high‑value, peer‑to‑peer learning without adding operational strain.

Upsides of Using Braindate
• Stronger attendee engagement: People walk away with real conversations, real solutions, and real connections — not just business cards.
• High satisfaction scores: At JNUC, Braindate consistently ranks as one of the most loved parts of the event.
• Easy for organizers: The Braindate team is proactive, communicative, and incredibly supportive. They make the entire process smooth from launch to onsite execution.
• Flexible and scalable: Whether we’re hosting hundreds or thousands of attendees, Braindate adapts without losing quality.
• Community‑building at its best: It creates a sense of belonging and shared learning that traditional sessions simply can’t replicate.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Honestly, there isn’t anything significant that I would categorize as a “dislike.” Our experience with Braindate has been consistently positive, and the platform delivers exactly what we need it to. Any small questions or adjustments that come up during planning are quickly addressed by their team, so nothing ever rises to the level of a true drawback. It’s one of the rare event solutions where the value far outweighs any minor operational considerations.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate solves one of the biggest challenges in event design: helping attendees make meaningful, relevant connections in a short amount of time. Traditional networking can feel random or intimidating, and it rarely guarantees that people meet others who can actually help them. Braindate removes that friction by giving attendees a structured, intentional way to find peers who share their goals, challenges, and expertise.
For us, the benefit is huge. Attendees consistently report that Braindate is where they had their most valuable conversations of the entire event. It deepens engagement, strengthens community, and creates a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the sessions themselves. From an organizer perspective, it also gives us visibility into what topics matter most to our audience, which helps us shape better content and programming. Braindate essentially turns networking into a high‑impact learning experience — and that’s something no other tool has been able to replicate for us.

**Official Response from Francis Beaumont-Deslauriers:**

> Thank you for your review and for your continued partnership at JNUC.

You captured our core mission perfectly: shifting networking from a passive activity to an intentional learning experience. It is rewarding to see your attendees step up to actively drive these conversations and share their expertise. We are also glad the platform provides you with clear data on your audience's interests, helping you confidently shape your future programming.

Thank you for trusting us to help build such a connected community!

  ### 2. Highly Responsive Support and Seamless Integration for Powerful Networking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori G. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

We felt extremely well supported from the very start. The Braindate team smoothly managed the integrations with our (older) conference platform and stayed highly responsive to our requests and questions throughout. Having them on site at the conference was invaluable, as they helped ensure our attendees could easily access this powerful networking matchmaking solution.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

We were fortunate to have key team members (on our side and Braindate's side) stay closely involved throughout the buildup to our conference. I can see how, with other partners, things could slip if people fall behind or don’t do their share of the work needed to pull the partnership off successfully. There are a lot of steps, and a lot of thought and time, that go into the program. So if you expect the program to kind of “manage itself,” I can see how that could easily lead to lower success rates.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the key ways our conference stands out from competitors is that we intentionally create opportunities for deeper connection and networking. Braindate was a perfect fit for that goal, and it helped us deliver on the promise we make to our attendees.

**Official Response from Francis Beaumont-Deslauriers:**

> Thank you for your review and for trusting us to deliver on your promise to attendees.

You highlighted a key point: fostering connection requires effort, not just a software tool. We view our work as a partnership, and collaborating with your team is exactly what made this program succeed. We are glad our support and onsite teams could provide the assistance you needed from start to finish.

Thank you for working alongside us to create these opportunities for your community!

  ### 3. Connection around shared ideas and topics of interest, Braindate elevates the sense of community.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah L. | Director of Events, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate stood out at as more than a networking tool—it was a thoughtfully designed experience that made meaningful connection feel natural, purposeful, and refreshingly human.
A defining strength of Braindate was the continued reengagement of hosts year over year, many returning to build upon conversations that have evolved alongside the industry. Their repeated participation brought depth and continuity to the experience, while new hosts introduced fresh perspectives and emerging ideas. Together, this mix created a dynamic dialogue—one where familiar topics were revisited with new insight and new topics reflected the shifting priorities and innovations shaping luxury hospitality today.
By centering connection around shared ideas and topics of interest, Braindate elevated the sense of community. Conversations unfolded with intention and curiosity, often planting the seeds for ongoing collaboration well beyond the event itself. In doing so, Braindate reinforced the value of bringing people together around meaningful topics—and demonstrated how genuine relationships naturally grow when dialogue is thoughtful and relevant.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Nothing to note as a dislike about the platform.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate helps to create a community of connection.

**Official Response from Francis Beaumont-Deslauriers:**

> Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review.

It is inspiring to see how your returning hosts, alongside new voices, created a dialogue that reflects the evolution of your industry.

We believe that centering connection around a topic-driven market makes networking feel natural and purposeful. We are glad our platform helped you facilitate genuine relationships and build a true community of connection for your attendees.

Thank you for your continued partnership.

  ### 4. Braindate Made Our Event Networking More Structured and Collaborative

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

What I love most about using Braindate was that it helped our attendees of our event to connect with people they wouldn't normally connect with. It allowed people to have conversations outside of the regular networking time and provided more structure for that conversation. The Braindate team also felt like an extension of our event team, which both allowed us to focus on other event logistics and supported in creating a collaborative and connection focused environment. We also really appreciated that it integrated with the event app we were using, making the on the ground experience more user friendly!

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Using a new platform and software is always tricky, so getting people comfortable with using it has been challenging but the Braindate team was there to support both before the conference and during the conference to make sure the experience was the best it could be.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate has helped us create new, unique networking opportunities at our event. Networking can be nerve-wracking and difficult even for the most seasoned attendees, and this platform eases some of that pressure by giving people a more authentic way to connect around topics they genuinely care about. The on-the-ground support has also been a major help to our events team, allowing us to focus on other aspects of the event while still having the support needed to ensure these activities run smoothly.

**Official Response from Francis Beaumont-Deslauriers:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience and for trusting us.

We know networking can feel intimidating, so it is rewarding to hear that the platform helped your attendees step outside their usual circles and connect more authentically around topics they genuinely care about. We are glad our support team could work alongside you to ease that learning curve and ensure a smooth experience for your community.

Thank you for collaborating with us to build such a welcoming environment!

  ### 5. Human Connection and Collaborative Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noémie M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

I used Braindate during a One Young World summit and it allowed me to connect with curious, expert, or creative minds, generating a very fruitful discussion. I appreciate the ability to learn from different people, all concerned with the same issue, to think together, and to create connections that are meaningful and impactful. I also like the human connection that Braindate generates. The facilitators were very cordial and explanatory, making the experience enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

What would you say to adding a canapé area to continue discussions that should not stop at the end of the session?

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate allows me to connect with curious and creative people on defined questions, generating enriching discussions. I learn from people concerned with the same issues, think together, and create meaningful connections.

**Official Response from Francis Beaumont-Deslauriers:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Braindate at the One Young World summit! We're glad to hear that you found it fruitful and enjoyable, and that it allowed you to connect with curious and expert minds. We appreciate your suggestion for adding a canapé area for continued discussions and will take it into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!

  ### 6. Simple, Effective, and Highly Recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Y.

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

I find Braindate simple to use, easy to understand, quick to execute, and flexible to edit. These features are particularly valuable because even though I work in technology, I don't consider myself a techie. The simplicity of Braindate makes it idiot-proof from my perspective. The initial setup was very simple, which adds to its ease of use. My first experience with Braindate at Event Tech Live in London was positive, allowing me to identify opportunities to foster community conversations around my personal business and a client's charity partnership. Given my initial positive impression, I would give it a rating of 10 out of 10 and am highly likely to recommend it to a friend or colleague.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

nothing

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Braindate to foster community conversations around my business and charity partnerships, leveraging its simplicity and ease of use, even as a non-techie. It's straightforward, facilitates engagement, and provides a user-friendly experience.

**Official Response from Francis Beaumont-Deslauriers:**

> Thank you for the 10/10 rating!

We believe that every participant carries valuable insights, and our goal is simply to unlock them. Hearing that you were able to easily foster community conversations around your personal business and charity work is exactly why we do what we do.

We are glad the technology made it easy for you to step up and lead those meaningful discussions.

Thank you for being a part of the Braindate experience!

  ### 7. Braindate is a game changer for in person networking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler P. | Director Event Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate was a standout engagement tool at our user conference. It gave our attendees a structured, yet casual way to connect around shared interests—whether that was API design, developer tools, or career growth. The platform helped us extend the value of our event beyond the main-stage, enabling meaningful peer-to-peer learning and spontaneous collaboration. It was especially effective for our community of developers and technical leaders who wanted focused, small-group conversations. The UI was intuitive, the onboarding process was smooth, and the Braindate concierge team helped ensure a great experience onsite.

We had a shortened window (about 6 - 8 weeks) to integrate and adopt Braindate into our event, the team at E-180 jumped in and helped make that integration with our reg platform and mobile app successful. We had great engagement for a first year program and look forward to continuing to use Braindate in the future.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

We had no major downsides with using braindate at our event. We had some mobile app issues but that was due to our mobile app choice and not Braindate or the team at E-180.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Surface meaningful networking in a short event format
Our event was 1.5 days and we needed a way to create high-value connections without relying solely on informal networking. Braindate provided a structured and scalable solution that enabled targeted, intentional conversations—something traditional networking formats often lack.

2. Enable peer learning and community connection
Our community is full of experts and practitioners with rich knowledge to share. Braindate allowed us to activate that community by turning attendees into conversation leaders, giving them a platform to host and join discussions around their interests and expertise. This extended the learning beyond official sessions and aligned directly with our core value of collaboration.

3. Support strategic connections for enterprise customers and prospects
Braindate gave our enterprise audience a way to connect directly with peers facing similar challenges, as well as with product experts and customer success teams. These curated, topic-based conversations helped foster trust, identify shared pain points, and accelerate interest in deeper engagement—supporting our pipeline goals.

4. Drive personalized event experiences
Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, Braindate enabled attendees to customize part of their event journey by choosing discussions relevant to their role, industry, or current projects. This helped improve the overall attendee satisfaction and NPS by making the experience feel more tailored and participatory.

5. Encourage cross-functional conversations
We saw engagement not just between developers, but also product managers, API strategists, and even marketers—groups that might not naturally find each other during typical networking breaks. Braindate helped break down silos and spark interdisciplinary connections aligned with real-world API collaboration.

  ### 8. Impressive Idea/Experience with Room for Even Smoother Navigation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

I loved all the people that worked for Braindate, i loved the concept and the actual conversations I had. They're wonderful for both introverts and extroverts as a networking/connection point.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

The web interface could be more user friendly. It was a little hard to search and refind sessions that were interesting to me. I wish there were categories.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having only recently started working in tech, it has me lead with curiosity rather than only a need to network. I heard about new concepts, met people at well-known companies as well as companies I didn't know I'd find super interesting, and it helped me feel comfortable in a conference setting.

**Official Response from Francis Beaumont-Deslauriers:**

> Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful perspective.

It is rewarding to hear that the experience helped you move beyond traditional networking to connect with people who share your specific interests and goals. We firmly believe that facilitating these genuine human connections is what generates the most valuable exchanges and drives innovation in the field.

We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the web interface. We want the discovery process to be as seamless as the conversations themselves. You will be happy to know that we are launching a completely revamped user interface in early January 2026, designed specifically to make searching for and rediscovering sessions much more intuitive.

We hope to see you in a another Braindate soon!

  ### 9. 5-star intentional networking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delisa R. | Principal Program Manager, Global Events Team, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

What I liked best about Braindate was how it created a welcoming, purposeful space for even our more introverted attendees to connect and have meaningful conversations with like-minded peers. The platform made networking feel intentional and accessible. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding, and the BOS was packed with every marketing resource we could need—from videos and social posts to website copy and presentation blurbs. Attendees loved the experience, with many calling it their favorite part of the conference and rating it an impressive 4.9 out of 5 stars.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

While Braindate was a fantastic addition to our event, there were a couple of areas with room for improvement. The integration with Cvent was a bit clunky—scheduling or canceling Braindates confused some attendees. Additionally, the built-in branding options were somewhat limited, such as only being able to choose from two font colors for the social post templates.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping create meaningful connections between conference attendees who may not meet serendipitously, or who may be more introverted.

  ### 10. Excellent venue to discuss technical and/or general topics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rex C. | Registration Committee Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

The best advantages of braindate is you can host technical and/or general sessions where you can present ideas that are up to “constructive” discussions with the rest of participants.

During these discussions among participants (total of 6 participants including host), everybody seems supportive and creative ideas re-surface due to the small number of participants which makes the set topic appear very interesting and conducive to open interpretations.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

The braindate sessions I participated as a host and as a participant is actually a good idea !!!

I would suggest adding two (2) more participants to total eight (8) participants. The concentration to the proposed topic per session will reach more individual if possible.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Technical and/or general topics that creates interests among participants at GeoConvention 2025. All topics are open to their own interpretation so listening to each participants give you ideas from every angle. This helps tackling any issues constructively.

  ### 11. Braindate is a huge value-add to our conference experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate is a great way for our attendees to network and meet like-minded people without the pressure and awkward small talk of traditional networking activities. It takes the pressure off, especially for the introverts, to meet new people and expand their networks while jumping more quickly and easily into meaningful conversations.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

The only downside we have experienced is that in our second year engaging Braindate, our sponsors have figured out how valuable it is and there was much more sponsor/attendee engagement than attendee/attendee engagement than we had in year one. We will work with the Braindate team to implement their suggestions to tackle this next year!

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling attendees to meet each other and make connections.

  ### 12. A participant favorite and a pleasure to partner with

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate connects people around topics of interest which makes networking more meaningful. It is a great relationship/community builder at events. It is very easy to use both on the backend and the client facing side. We were well supported with the set-up and have enhanced and improved YOY since we began using the tool. We just wrapped our 3rd year using it!

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

I wish it could integrate fully with our conference mobile app.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ad hoc networking was no longer serving our attendees.

  ### 13. Connecting people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hop N. | Internal control officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

It was such a great idea to connect people who have the same interest/ look for the same info at such a big event like Workiva Amplify. I wish I knew about braindates earlier

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

I've only experienced once and it was a great experience. So until now, nothing I dislike about it.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was at a big event with many people that I don't know and not sure who to ask. Braindate allows participants to suggest, host a topic of discussion and find the right people for the right topic

  ### 14. An outstanding partner for meaningful attendee engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate offers a truly unique and valuable way for our attendees to connect around shared interests. The platform’s topic-based meeting model encourages intentional, high-quality conversations that enhance the overall event experience.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

The only real challenge we encountered was accommodating the physical onsite requirements, which required a bit of extra planning on our part. That said, their team worked closely with us to find solutions and ensure everything went off without a hitch. Their flexibility and support helped make it all manageable.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate solves the challenge of creating and measuring meaningful, attendee-driven interactions at large-scale events.

  ### 15. Very effective networking & knowledge sharing for our event!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenni S. | Principal Solution Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Ability to have a very structured program around networking and sharing of knowledge. The sync with my calendar allowed an easy way to spend time with over 20 clients in 2 days at our recent event with no hassles. The support from the Braindate onsite team was extremely helpful, and made my Braindates run even more smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

It would be nice if the notifications were integrated more seamlessly with our event app through cVent.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate allowed me to share my knowledge broadly across our customer base in both a group and 1:1 setting with very little set up. The team organized everything around our meet-ups. Having a dedicated space for this allowed smooth transitions to focus just on sharing knowledge. Clients were able to communicate easily about what they wanted to get out of the session, and it was also easy to see feedback.

  ### 16. Awesome for open discussions with like-minded people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margo S. | Inbound Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

I can suggest a topic that matters to me and meet people who have similar interests and experiences. It helps to get un-polished real-life insights you can never get with a big audience involved. These conversations are always very open and practical, bringing enormous value to business and personal growth.

It's also very easy to use from both sides: searching for interesting braindates and scheduling your own. Great job, Braindate team!

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

I had an issue hosting my first braindate. It had been fully booked, but half of the people didn't show up. Next time, the Braindate team fixed that - when braindate was full in advance, they added a couple of extra spaces. Thank you so much for that!

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting with the right people, getting practical advice, sharing my own experience.

  ### 17. VERY ENGAGING

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Braindates.

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

I appreciate the intention way that Braindate offers opportunities for connections among conference attendees.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

One challenge with Braindate is finding a way for attendees to see the value of the platform and the opportunities they have before they get on site so they can plan for time to spend on one or more Braindates..

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate is offering opportunities for our attendees to connect on topics of interest to them. It also for expansion on topics already covered throughout the conference allowing attendees to dive deeper in the topics.

  ### 19. Great experience, strongly recommend!

  ### 22. Braindate at SAS Innovate 2025

Good for focusing conversation in a small group of like minded folks.

Might have been helpful to have a small screen to share info.

Makes networking easier and structured

  ### 25. Exceptional, intentional breakout experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz O. | Event Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

The small/intiment groups, the fact that I could sign up for the topics that impact me the most, the seating arrangements/pods, the networking.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Limited number of people per session. This is a good problem to have, as the topics were very impactful and intentional. I wanted to attend a lot of them that were already filled. The good news is that the Braindate team could typically still get me added, but the seating arrangements were a bit small to accomodate additions. I wish that the times didn't overlap as much with meal periods or other breakouts.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creative breakout sessions on a much more intimate and meaningful level.

  ### 26. Braindate met our needs and made our lives easier.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chantel M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

You get access to a truly never-ending folder of resources that cover everything from set up, to marketing, to execution. The team makes it really easy to use the software.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Given it was our first year using Braindate, we weren't able to secure any sponsorship. While Braindate has a ton of resources to help sell, our partners wanted proof of concept. With a year under our belt, I am hopeful we can have more success next time.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Festival attendees have routinely told us they want more opportunities to connect one on one and in small groups. It has been hard to facilitate that given our large stages. Braindate allowed us to provide this opportunity and to curate experiences.

  ### 27. Phenomenal experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bertha R. | DM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

The casual and organic feel to the group discussion.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

The only drawback was that the braindate sessions were hosted concurrently with other educational sessions. I missed some really good topics.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Encouraging small group discussions. It helps to break down the barriers that introverted individuals who want to engage in curious topics may shy away from.

  ### 28. Braindate is the Best!

If you're seeking to elevate your event, look no further than Braindate. We wanted a seamless solution to enhance our event and improve the onsite experience, and Braindate exceeded our expectations in every way.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

There are no drawbacks to utilizing Braindate; the product, the team, and the onsite experience all work together to elevate and enhance your event to the next level.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our annual user conferences were lacking an onsite networking experience.

  ### 31. Fostered meaningful connections

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chesca G. | Head of Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate at Elevate provided a better experience while attending a conference. The platform encouraged collaboration among participants that fostered genuine connections and it also allowed me to connect with people I might not have reached during big events like Elevate. It's also provided a great opportunity to showcase my services.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

I didn't use the app but accessed it through the browser so the experience is not the same.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate is addressed a key challenge, such as the difficulty of making meaningful connections at large events and the need for targeted networking.

  ### 32. Braindate integrated with our app and their onsite staff were a perfect extension of our team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie Y. | Event Technology Sales Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

We brought them a complex attendee engagement strategy and not only did they deliver, but they pushed their internal teams and platform to make it happen.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

We required lots of attendee segmentation, which we found work arounds for, but I'd love the system work with complex structure better.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attendee Engagement, going beyond the "speed-dating" and actually creating meaningful connections through 1:1's and small groups.

  ### 33. Peer-to-peer learning at its best, great runway for effective biz conference networking!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** andres r. | Marketing & Events Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate redefines the concept of belonging within the precincts of the conference networking playground. Its one-on-one meetings and spontaneous group discussions foster a profound sense of community through collaborative learning. No event program can fully cater to the highly specific interests of all its participants (longtail). By crowdsourcing content, Braindate creates a powerful connection among attendees and serves as a thoughtfully integrated complement to the main programming.

The app is easy to use and the customer support on-site is wonderful!

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Wifi connectivity issues slow the experience, so make sure your venue offers support for large crowds trying to access hotspots.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate allows conference participants to maximize their networking opportunities (time, energy). The product's personalized and efficient approach to networking through collaborative learning outweighs traditional networking formats or workshops, where interactions can be more superficial or limited.

  ### 34. Transformative Experiences with Braindate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandra V. | Events Manager Small Business Empowerment, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

The impact Braindate has had on my events is nothing short of remarkable. The team is warm, candid, incredibly proactive, and has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure the success of my events. Braindate's exceptional service begins with their excellent project management skills. They are always ahead of the curve, anticipating needs and providing solutions that make the entire process seamless. This level of dedication and efficiency is a rare find!
Whether the event is virtual or in person, Braindate activations have been a major highlight for my attendees. They offer a unique and interactive experience that facilitates learning and networking while fostering community.
They are a top tier partner in creating engaging and successful events.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

My experience with Braindate has been exceptional. There has not been a single aspect of their service that has been lacking.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate improved knowledge sharing through their peer-to-peer learning approach. This approach breaks down barriers, allowing attendees to learn from each other's experiences and insights, which can be more relatable and immediately applicable.

  ### 35. Great way to turn a crowd into a community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin C. | Chief Growth Officer, Corporations and Community, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Loved the ability to post a topic, and enable small group discussions with those most interested. Allowed much more intimate conversations around a table than a typical big conference room session where you are looking at the backs of other people's heads. A great complement to the larger sessions. The onsite team were great and made for a smooth experience for both session hosts and attendees.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

From a business development lens, some of the sessions we hosted quickly filled up (and with people who aren't really our target market), so the ability to somehow filter down interested parties to those that best meet the criteria for who should attend would be helpful.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowed for targeted, small group discussions in an otherwise overwhelming conference with 2,500 attendees.

  ### 36. Facilitated Meaningful Connections at Our Company Kickoff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate worked really well for our company kick off. It brought a level of small team interaction and engagement that’s typically hard to do with large groups in a conference type setting.
There were a few things in particular I liked with the Braindate setup:
- The team was great to work with and the app was very easy to set up. We had onsite support and they were wonderful
- The user-generated groups allowed our teams to handpick the topics that mattered most to them. We would never have picked some of those topics on our own and they ended up being really popular
- The Braindate app has great data on what the team was signing up for, what topics they were searching, and how many connections were made. It really allowed us to justify the expense and see what topics we should lean into more next year

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

The integration with our event app, Swapcard, could have been better to improve our user experience. After clicking on Braindate in the event app, users were directed to a different browser window which was frustrating for our employees.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate helped us address several problems:
- Encouraged employees to connect with each other at the event
- Empowered employees to control their event experience
- Measured the effectiveness of the event kickoff in fostering employee connections

Having a platform set up for this purpose saved my team from having to facilitate more structured "speed networking" or develop the dreaded "table topics." It also instantly calculated the number of connections made and the hours of learning achieved using Braindate, completely relieving my team of the reporting burden.

  ### 37. Braindate was a great innovative addition to our event programme.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

It offered a 1:1 element self organised that we don't include inside our event programme.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Braindate is a great product and platform but for optimal use needs to be fully integrated into an event programme from design.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offered a 1:1 networking platform that we don't faciliate inside our event programme.

  ### 38. EXCELLENT experience—secured $70k client contract

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Azara G. | Learning Community Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindate is basically highly optimized networking. It provides a best-possible scenario for what every conference hopes to accomplish: attendees meeting, sharing knowledge, growing their networks, and finding clients, partners, collaborators, etc. I had the benefit of getting to use Braindate right at a moment when I was about halfway to being comfortable quitting my day job and I needed to close the gap. I attended an event that incorporated Braindate and I created meeting types designed to appeal to my ideal client, as well as ideal collaborators and affiliates. I was able to secure a client who contracted me for a project worth at least $70k this year, and potentially over $100k, more than closing that gap! Braindate gave me a way to focus my efforts and be efficient about arranging the exact conversations I needed to have in order to achieve my revenue goals. Seriously amazing.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Literally nothing. I had an amazing experience.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate makes it super easy to meet the specific people you need to meet in order to accomplish your goals. I was looking for ideal clients to connect with so I could secure contracts to support my new consulting business, so I designed Braindates that would offer appealing information and support for those who were seeking the kind of service I provide. I was able to contract with a massive corporate client who I met during a Braindate and instantly doubled my revenue for the year. I'm signing the paperwork this week! This new revenue source has allowed me to quit my day job and make the leap to full time entrepreneur. I can honestly say that this would not have been possible without Braindate because I never would have crossed paths with this client otherwise—we have no social connections whatsoever. I am benefitting enormously from Braindate in a way that is actually life-changing for me.

  ### 39. Braindate is the best conference experience I have ever had

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bharathiraja R. | Vice President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

It helped me connect with likeminded people. More than that, it gave me so much satisfaction that I facilitated a conversation with people who had so much to say but never had a platform to voice their opinions or share their knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

I can't think of anything that was bad about it.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gave an opportunity to introverts to share their views in a smaller size setup. It also helped me make long term connections with such valuable people.

  ### 40. The best way to find likeminded people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John T. | Lecturer and Workshop Facilitator (Casual academic), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

The ease of the digital platform and the way we can leverage it at conferences to find other similiar minded people who would like to discuss and debate questions. Highly recommend it to any organisation who's the primary sponsor of a conference to utilise it to profile all aspects of their organisations to participants.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

When its not well utilised by the conference sponsor.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to connections at conferences where there are thousands of participants.

  ### 41. Great tool to leverage networking at conferences

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Egor B. | Co-Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

From setting up the event to executing the service, the Braindate team was the best part of Braindate for us. We felt taken care of on a professional level.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Nothing to dislike, everything ran smoothly.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate made it easy for attendees to find each other and schedule meeetings. Our braindate lounge had a lot of interaction, and it leveraged the event as a whole.

  ### 42. Great experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Easy to use in a conference setting when there are a ton of attendees and you want to find a way to socialize with your peers. Makes it easy to create topics and follow up with people you met with.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

On mobile (which is what you're typically using at a conference), interface is sometimes clunky to use and requires a lot of taps to get to the screen you want

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping you meet others that have similar interests as you at a conference.

  ### 43. Brought our event to the next level.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

It turned our conference from an event to a community-building experience.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Can't think of much, if anything, we only had two weeks to pull off the activation, and they did it no problem.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Braindate is solving the problem of superficial networking at conferences by providing a platform where attendees can connect beyond just exchanging business cards. With Braindate, participants can browse through other attendees' profiles and schedule one-on-one or group discussions based on shared interests and goals.

As a conference, this benefits us by enhancing the overall experience of our attendees, providing a more engaging and meaningful way for them to network and connect with their peers. Rather than just attending presentations and exhibitor booths, our participants can have in-depth conversations and form new relationships that may benefit them personally or professionally. Braindate helps us facilitate these valuable connections among our attendees

  ### 44. A meaningful way to connect and learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherry D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Easiest way to meet new people at an event

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

platform integration into existing event tech

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Use of Braindate at our event allows attendees to connect with each other on a shared topic of interest and learn from each other in a more organic and hands-off way. I love that attendees can generate their own topics and choose between small group or 1:1 discussions. It helps facilitate connections for attendees who find it overwhlming to meet new people at events.

  ### 45. The most valuable part of a conference

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley D. | Web content and PPC lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

I love getting to meet people who work in the same field that I do and speak with them one-on-one. As far as the main sessions go, when you're sitting in the audience, some are amazing and some are just okay. But I didn't regret going to a single small group or one-on-one braindate. I left with ideas and inspiration from what other companies are doing, and lots of new LinkedIn connections.

The Braindate staff were also lovely.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

The integration with the conference app was a little tricky: slow loading and challenging to click in and out of different braindates without losing your spot or filters. I ended up just opening the braindate website in my browser instead and switching between the app for conference sessions and the website for my braindates.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking an overwhelming conference with thousands of people and helping to identify the ones that I'd most like to speak with and facilitating that connection in a comfortable way.

  ### 46. A great addition to any event

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anouk B. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

1. In virtual conferences, it is really hard to have meaningful conversations with people. Braindates let us do that.
2. Braindates allow for participants to speak directly to the speakers and panelists. We encourage all our speakers, panelists and sponsors to host Braindates and this is a fantastic opportunity for engagement on on topics they are passionate about.
3. Participants consistently rank Braindates as one of the most memorable, most valuable part of our events.
4. Love that this format works both in person and online.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Like anything that is provides value, it takes time and energy to explain Braindates, encourage people to host them, remind them, remind them again, ect. It is worth the effort which is why we always include Braindates in our events, but the work should not be underestimated or else you will not get the full value out of this software.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having meaningful conversations when the format (online) does not encourage this. Participants consistently rank Braindate highly in their reviews of our events.

  ### 47. Braindate with SITE

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

“As an international association, we look for unique ways to help our community gather and connect. The Braindate platform was the perfect solution to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our global audience. Our virtual event resulted in dozens of peer-led conversations and hundreds of connections with incentive travel professionals from all over the world.”

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

We loved Braindate! We look forward to using you again.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had some confusion at the beginning of the process.

  ### 48. Excellent way to have efficient focused talk in big conference

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca L. | Research Engineer 2, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

This form of networking with people with similar interests really blew up my mind.People are naturally more open to sharing their experiences and stories on this magic platform. It’s more effective than attending big talks, and less stressful than having formal interviews.

During my 8 face-to-face Braindates on GHC, I learned so much focused career growth advice from senior leaders from other companies in the industry , and was glad I got the chance to share my personal experience with new grads looking to step into early careers as well!

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Occasionally cannot re-schedule the meeting after confirmed by host.
It seems fixed

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hard to find people with simialr interests in the big conference, but Brandate allows me to quickly initiate topics that I care the most

  ### 49. Great Peer Connections

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

It was incredibly helpful to have small group discussions to learn from peers and experts. I liked that it was structured by topic and you could select what you were interested in. The integration with the ProjectCon app made it easy to find sessions and topics. The texts to make sure I new it was upcoming was helpful to get me in the right place.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

I would like to see expanded times available. There were times when I was making a choice of a braindate over a conference session. The schedule population was a little slow to connect to my conference schedule in the app.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was helping me understand software options and their capabilities.

  ### 50. Braindate surprised me

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Braindate?**

Braindates have been offered for a number of years at my industry conference, but I'd always avoided them. It sounded unusual...

But this year I decided to opt in for one and... it was actually really great! Possibly the highlight of this year's conference.

Why?

Because who doesn't want to connect more meaningfully with their peers on topics they are experts in?

I made some fantastic new connections and dove deep on some cool topics. It helped me to understand best practice in a niche area and even to create a new podcast episode as part of one of my Braindates.

Overall, this will be something I'm honing in on at future conferences.

**What do you dislike about Braindate?**

Honestly, I'd previously ignored Braindates because I find the name a little weird and creepy.

**What problems is Braindate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me to connect with industry peers, on niche topics.
