Bottomline PTX Reviews & Product Details

Bottomline's PTX is very easy to use, and with the new BT3 platform we are able to make the set up of new profiles much faster too.

We have been able to utilise the Confirmation of Payee function and now use it to perform checks on all bank accounts for our pension members. This has been integrated into our systems without issue, and is a great tool for anyone making payments to outside parties.

When we have an issue, which is very rarely, the support portal is a great way to get our problems dealt with quickly and efficiently.

We use this platform for all of our client pension payrolls, paying over 15,000 members each month. The ease of use for this product means our payments go seamlessly.

Only one item, on PTX, I would like to see added, and I hope one day it will be as I have mentioned this to Bottomline several times. One day, I hope to see it appear! There was a significant issue with their integration of their VendorConnect product with Paymode, but it was rectified in a timely manner. I do not like their decision to move forward with renaming Nexus to "AP Automation for Real Estate". No one will call it that. I don't understand why they won't just call it Paymode like everything else. Just make it Paymode Payables and Paymode Payments. The screens already show Paymode.
