GiveGab offers easy ways for multiple nonprofits to receive gifts on giving days. It is user friendly from the donor perspective, and allows our organization to participate in fundraising opportunities organized by the larger nonprofit community at little additional effort to us. The lump sum payouts are not ideal. While they are fine a couple times a year on giving days, we like having a donation processing system that can integrate with other payments the organization receives (like ticket sales). The lump payout adds another series of steps for accounting that would be unsustainable year round.

There is no way for a donor to submit new information, however; even if they enter a new address or email or other contact information, the contact information we receive as a participating nonprofit is often old, or whatever information they entered the first time they used GiveGab. Not sure if this glitch has been fixed since May 2020, when we last encountered it, but it was a nightmare when we first did. We were entering information into our CRM and overwriting existing records, assuming this was new info from donors, until someone on staff saw their own record and realized it was an address they had used for a Day of Giving several years ago, and not the one they had entered with their most recent donation. The tool is great for managing donations. It is possible to promote donations in several campaigns and specific events, to manage donor contacts on a single platform. The difference is that there is an application for android that also facilitates the control and the possibility to access the tool from anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We really like the tool and I don't know what to say about the negative. The centralized management of the companies in GaveGab is very efficient and very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was an easy platform to set up and implement. We used it for Giving Tuesday and raised a bunch of money with a very simple process. It was also good because we were found by other people that didn't know who we were and we got donations because they were on Give Gab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We only used it for Giving Tuesday because of the fees associated. By the time you take out credit card fee plus their platform fee it can be costly. There are cheaper options for platform fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My company used givegab for their annual giving day. There are lots of features like sub-pages and categories that allowed us to take our event to the next level. It instantly made our event look more legitimate because the website looked so professional and was easy to navigate. At any company, employees have varying technical skills. Those who had a good understanding of computers were able to help build the site easily. Those who have less experience, such as those who "don't know how to rotate a PDF" might have a tougher time. Although it doesn't require any IT knowledge or website coding knowledge - the interface is user friendly - some people may still have a tough time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
