It covers a lot for us, from broad visibility and alerting to supporting our ticketing workflows, so it has become a central tool for the team. From an operations perspective, it gives us a clear picture of what’s happening across the network and helps us identify and respond to issues early. The alerting is helpful without being overly noisy, and it includes enough context that we can actually take action on problems rather than just getting a generic notification. It’s also proven valuable for troubleshooting and capacity planning. We’re able to review historical trends, understand usage patterns over time, and make more informed decisions about scaling or optimizing the network. Overall, it’s a solid, practical tool that supports both reactive troubleshooting and longer-term planning. **What do you dislike about LiveNX?** One area where LiveNX could improve is its alerting functionality. It’s usable and gets the job done, but it feels less mature than the rest of the platform. There’s definitely room for more flexibility in alert types and conditions, especially when you’re dealing with more complex or dynamic use cases. We do leverage the ServiceNow integration for incident management, and that part works well for us. However, the alerting component that feeds into it could be more polished. Stronger customization options, more granular control, and broader integration choices would make it easier to align alerts with how we actually operate day to day. Overall, it works, but it’s an area that would benefit from further development. **What problems is LiveNX solving and how is that benefiting you?** LiveNX helps us tackle the challenge of maintaining visibility and control across a large, complex enterprise network. With multiple internal operations teams involved, having a single platform that delivers consistent insight into performance and traffic is essential. From a user perspective, it provides a shared view for monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and planning capacity. Rather than relying on separate tools or siloed data, we can use LiveNX to see what’s happening across the network, pinpoint bottlenecks, and make informed decisions around scaling and optimization. For us, the biggest benefit is that centralized visibility and added context.
