"Blotato Makes High-Volume Reels Fast with an Easy UI and Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

I use Blotato paired with Claude Code to create faceless reels for social media. It does a decent job of finding images to use or generating them with AI. The quality and accuracy of the images depend largely on the model you choose and the prompt you provide.

The UI is easy to use, and you can edit or replace images within the reel after creating it. It took me several tries to get the parameters right, but once you get everything dialed in, you can create a reel in a matter of minutes and schedule or post it to multiple platforms, all within Blotato.

Another feature I really like is the Viral AI Coach. You can upload a video, and it will review it, provide a score, and give you specific recommendations for improving it.

Blotato was also easy to integrate with Claude Code, and the support has been excellent. Sabrina has created detailed YouTube videos covering just about any question you can think of, and she also provides a lot of free general AI training.

I think the pricing is fair for the number of credits you receive and the features provided. I've had zero issues with the performance of the software. It has always worked as expected, as long as I have credits available.

I highly recommend Blotato if you're looking to create and publish a high volume of content efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

There's a little bit of a learning curve to get things setup, but once you get paste that, it works as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Scheduling and Cross-Platform Publishing That Saves Me Time"
5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

I really like being able to schedule directly through Claude - it fits perfectly into my workflow. I can create content and then move it into Blotato to get it scheduled without a ton of manual steps. I also appreciate being able to create within Blotato itself, rearrange things easily, and distribute across platforms all in one place. That setup saves me a lot of time, especially when I’m managing two separate brands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

What could be better? Honestly, my workflow already covers most of what I need. If I had one wish, it would be some kind of audience or lead qualification/follow-up - a way to identify people who fit my niche (adult hobbyist musicians) so I could be more targeted about who I’m trying to reach and follow-up with. I’m not sure whether that’s in scope for what Blotato does, but it would be a nice-to-have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Four brands, one workspace, driven by my agent"
5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

The API came first, and that's the whole reason it works for me. I don't sit in a content calendar. I have Claude drive Blotato through its MCP connector, and it publishes to four Facebook pages, two Instagram accounts, three YouTube channels and a LinkedIn company page out of one workspace. The hundred most recent posts in my account went out that way: 41 Facebook, 29 LinkedIn, 22 Instagram, 8 YouTube, with ten more sitting scheduled. None of it got typed into a form.

The media flow is the part I'd point at. You request a presigned upload URL, PUT the bytes, and the URL that comes back drops straight into the post. Scheduling takes a UTC timestamp or a next-free-slot flag, so an agent can queue a week without me picking times.

The DM records surprised me. A Facebook lead-form submission never made it into my sheet, and the auto-message Blotato had on file carried every answer with a timestamp. That's how I proved it happened and when. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

Reporting first, because that's where it cost me. Blotato returns Facebook analytics that look populated and are wrong, low by 8 to 180 percent against Business Suite on every post I've checked. Its Instagram figures match exactly, which is what makes the Facebook ones worth warning people about. I use Business Suite for any Facebook retro now.

The post status field isn't trustworthy in either direction. I've seen it read failed on a post that was live, and in-progress nine days after one published. The live page is the only real check.

The one that actually hurt: create_post accepts an empty text field and publishes anyway. A YouTube video of mine went public with no description, because the copy had been written and reviewed and never mapped to the parameter. Nothing errored, and Blotato can't edit a published YouTube post, so there's no way back through the API. I'd take a rejection on empty copy over a silent success.

Smaller things. A Facebook post without a pageId lands on your personal profile instead of the page. On Facebook the link field and attached media won't coexist, the preview card takes the slot and your image never appears. There's no caption or SRT field for YouTube, so auto-captions run on every upload. And the API can't create a real Facebook mention, so text that looks like a tag notifies nobody. "API-first and reliable video publishing, but TikTok/Pinterest analytics still limited"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

Blotato is truly 'API-first', and that's exactly what makes all the difference for me. The API and the MCP server cover what the interface does, so I can connect it directly to my AI agent, instead of having to adapt my way of working to a dashboard.

What I appreciate the most, very concretely, is that each platform receives its own version of the text, and not just a simple copy-paste. Instagram has its hashtags and the 'link in my bio'. Facebook has the full URL and the call to reactions, because that's what gets my world reacting there. All this is done in a single call, with fields specific to each platform (reels, stories, first comment, TikTok options).

I also like being able to manage two businesses in the same workspace, a total of 7 accounts, without juggling between multiple logins. And video publishing to Reels and TikTok really works, whereas it was the fragile part of all the tools I had tried before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

The statistics do not cover TikTok or Pinterest. Yet TikTok is one of the platforms that matters most to me: I cannot track the performance of a good part of my posts from the very place where I publish them. I have to go back to the app for that, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by centralizing. This is clearly the lack I feel the most.

The configuration of Pinterest is also more laborious than the rest. You have to dig up a board ID in the documentation, whereas for the other platforms, everything is set up automatically once the account is connected.

Finally, for automated publishing, the media must be at a public URL. There is a signed upload to work around this point, but it remains an extra step when the file is on my computer rather than online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear API Docs and MCP Made Social Posting Automation Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

The API and the MCP server have been the key pieces for me. I run my business from Claude Code, and I wanted social posting for eight of my own websites without having to sit there scheduling everything manually. I compared it with the social planner in GoHighLevel and ultimately chose Blotato, because I didn’t think I could schedule everything in GoHighLevel without still having to handle part of it myself.

I set things up so that when a blog post goes live, Claude drafts a post for each connected channel and drops it into a Google Sheet. I review and approve it there, and then a job that runs every hour sends the approved posts to Blotato through the API. I’ve paused that workflow while I finish a plan for each site, so the posts that have gone out so far didn’t come through this automation. I also use the MCP in Claude Code to check which accounts are connected.

The API docs are clear, and the entire help site being available as plain text made it fast to build against. Their guidance on warming up new accounts was useful too, and I used it to set posting limits for new accounts in my setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

The API and MCP are not in the free trial, so I had to go onto the paid plan before I could test the thing I actually wanted it for.

When I deleted four posts directly on LinkedIn and Facebook, Blotato still showed them as published. It does not pick up deletions made on the platform, so the post list is not a reliable record of what is live.

When I set it up in early September it did not support Google Business Profile, so that would need a separate tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid end-to-end publishing pipeline — just don't trust the image generation to be fast"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

Honestly, the thing that stood out most was how it collapsed a step that's usually annoying: going from "I have a text prompt" to "there's a real, publicly-hosted image" without me needing to generate it somewhere else, download it, host it, and then feed a URL into a separate posting tool. create_visual → poll → create_post was basically one continuous pipeline, and once the presigned-upload approach hit a wall (network restrictions on my end), that image-generation route ended up being the more reliable path anyway.

I also liked that scheduling just worked the way you'd want it to — set a future scheduledTime, and it holds the post and fires at the right moment regardless of when the API call was actually made, so there was no pressure to hit an exact submission window.

If I'm being fully honest, the generation step wasn't perfectly reliable — a couple of image jobs hung on "generating-script" for way longer than the rest and needed a retry. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you're relying on it for anything time-sensitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

The reliability issue I just mentioned is the main one — a few of the image generations hung on "generating-script" well past the point where similar jobs had finished, with no error, no progress indicator, just silence until I gave up and retried from scratch. That's a fine one-off, but across the 17 or so posts we ran through it, it happened often enough that I couldn't treat "queued" as "will finish in a reasonable time."

A couple smaller things:

- The `imageSource` parameter for AI-generated images wanted a plain string, not the structured `{aiPrompt: "..."}` object its own schema implied — took a failed call to figure that out. Minor, but it's the kind of schema/reality mismatch that costs a retry every time.

- No way to validate a media URL before committing it to an actual post or schedule — there's no dry-run. That's a small thing when the image came from Blotato's own generator, but it made the earlier Google Drive troubleshooting slower than it needed to be, since the only way to really confirm a link would work was to attempt the real thing.

- Polling for visual status has no built-in backoff or webhook option that I found — it's manual poll-and-wait, which is fine for one image but got repetitive scheduling seven posts in a row.

None of that outweighs what it got right for this — scheduling itself was rock solid, nothing double-posted or slipped a time slot across 17 posts, which is the part that actually mattered most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

This makes creating, editing, and scheduling content extremely beneficial for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

"Streamlines Social Media Consistency with Ease"
5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

I love Blotato AI for its ease of use, especially how I can use perplexity along with prescheduling. It's great for allowing me to be consistent with posting on social media, and I can review my insights to decide what type of post to put up next. The ability to post the same content on multiple platforms simultaneously is incredibly helpful. Also, the initial setup was pretty easy, and it has helped me more with creating content versus just posting it. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

When I post a photo, sometimes it comes horizontal, and videos cannot get squished. I just had maybe having an easier way to make sure the photo is right side up when it gets posted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
