"10,500+ Posts in Less Than 9 Months as a One-Man Show"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

What I like most about Blotato is how much it simplifies social media publishing. I’m a one-man show, and in less than nine months I’ve been able to publish 10,500+ posts using Blotato. The posting functionality alone has saved me an enormous amount of time and, for me, is worth the subscription price.

I also appreciate that the founder and team are constantly improving the platform, adding new features, and regularly asking users for feedback about what they would like to see next. The pricing is very reasonable for the value it provides. Overall, Blotato has made managing high-volume social media publishing much easier for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

There isn’t much I dislike about Blotato, especially considering how much I use it. As the platform continues to grow, there are always features and integrations that could be further improved or added. I would also love to see even more flexibility and control over advanced posting workflows. That said, these are relatively minor points for me, and the value I get from Blotato far outweighs them. "Effortless Multi-Platform Posting with Powerful Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

Genuinely multi-platform. One composer, eight accounts, platform-specific variants of the same idea. Long-form on LinkedIn, punchy on Twitter, conversational on Threads, written and dispatched in one pass.

Required fields surfaced up front. TikTok's privacy and branded-content flags, Facebook's page ID, YouTube's title and privacy status, all exposed before publish rather than blowing up at send time. That detail saves more time than it sounds like it should.

Scheduling is reliable. A month of queued posts goes out when it says it will. No babysitting.

The API and MCP layer is the standout. I schedule a week of content programmatically without opening the dashboard. Very few tools in this category take programmatic access seriously, and it's the single feature I'd switch tools for.

Transparent credit pricing. Predictable, easy to reason about, no surprises on the bill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

Failure messages are useless. My one failed post returned: "Failed to publish TikTok post after 3 retries: Unknown error reason." I couldn't tell whether it was my content, an expired token, TikTok's API, or a Blotato bug, so I couldn't fix it. Pass the platform's actual response through.

Silent failures. I found that failure by looking, not by being told. A post I believe went out and didn't is worse than one that never sent.

Automation state is unclear. All three of my DM automations sit inactive, largely because I could never confidently tell the difference between saved, published, and actually running.

No funnel visibility on automations. One triggered 16 times and completed 5. I have no idea what happened to the other 11, follow gate, email gate, failed send? Without per-step drop-off I can't improve it, so I stopped using the feature rather than guess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One API Key to Automate Multi-Platform Posting, Scheduling, and Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

I post for seven brands across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Threads, TikTok and YouTube — thirteen connected accounts — and almost none of it happens by hand. I use the API. My scripts render a card or a reel, upload it through the presigned media URL, and fan it out with per-platform captions. They run on GitHub Actions, Vercel crons and a scheduled job on my Mac.

The single best thing is that I maintain one key instead of seven OAuth apps and seven sets of platform rules. Presigned media upload means a rendered video goes out without me hosting it. scheduledTime lets me queue a campaign weeks ahead and still edit it in the dashboard before it fires. And the analytics and comments endpoints feed a weekly email, so I read what published, what failed, and what people said without opening five apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

Reconnecting an account issues a new account ID. Mine changed and every pipeline holding the old one failed with "Account not found" for eight days before I noticed. Keeping the ID, or emailing me when it changes, would have saved that week.

Analytics are uneven: no LinkedIn numbers at all, Pinterest returns zeros, TikTok and YouTube sync on checkpoints so weekend posts read low on Monday. Comments and DMs come back for Instagram and Facebook only. but I dont think thats a blotato problem thats an account problem from the socials

Platform limits surface late. An 11-slide Instagram carousel died silently in the queue with no error; ten worked. Pinterest 422s over five media items. X counts the raw URL against 280 characters instead of t.co's 23, so captions that fit everywhere else get rejected. - but again this is nitpicking the reality of the social media platform issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Social Media Scheduler with AI Integration"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

I really like Blotato AI's scheduling capabilities and the ability to create a schedule that works with my Agentic harnesses, including Codex and Claude. I appreciate that it can generate content from a prompt and create a brand voice to customize output. The inclusion of tools like viral hooks and tips for warming up new accounts is incredibly valuable. It's flexible enough that even those not using advanced AI tools can benefit, accommodating multiple posts across many channels more generously than other platforms I've tried. Its integration capability, particularly with Claude code and Codex, makes it easy to use alongside my AI systems. I enjoy the freedom to drive it either through the platform or directly with code, which is a practical feature for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

I really wish Blotato AI allowed for managing multiple client accounts under one system, as I currently can only use it with a few clients. I'm not an agency, so finding a balance between personal and agency-level social media tools is tricky. Also, while it offers brand voice options, they don't significantly influence the AI-generated content, which is a bit disappointing. I'd love to see an option to upload custom templates, like carousel templates, and have the AI assist use those. The setup process also had a learning curve, with sprawling and perhaps outdated help resources, which felt intimidating. More updated third-party tutorials on YouTube would be really helpful. "Blotato Makes Content Creation Fast and Easy—Especially in Claude!"
5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

The batch-scheduling is what sold me. I'm working through a 1,000-post content library on a steady three-times-a-day cadence, and being able to queue that volume in manageable chunks instead of posting manually every day is a huge time save. It also handles multiple separate brand accounts cleanly, so I can run an organic, no-ad-spend growth push across YouTube, Twitter/X, and Facebook for one venture while a completely different brand's Threads content runs on its own schedule, without the accounts bleeding into each other. For the volume of posting I do across multiple ventures, that combination of ease and reliability is what makes it worth the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

The scheduling cap on my current plan is the main frustration. Given how much batch-posting I do across multiple ventures, I run into that limit faster than I'd like, and it means I'm not getting the full value out of the tool without jumping to a pricier tier. "Saves us a ton of time, all while doing high quality, automated work!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

I love the simplicity of the platform. I can connect all our social media and then I can have it be automatically scheduled for us. We have a digital marketing firm that charges us 10-20x per month what Blotato costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

The only real complaint is (probably a user error to be honest) the graphics that created with Canva, Claude, Chat, etc... don't seem to be the best. Again, I know that's a user error, however I wish Blotato had a built in graphic/image designer with "Sabrina like" prompts added for someone with basic graphic/image design skills. "Blotato Makes Multi-Channel Scheduling Fast and Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

Blotato became the backbone of how I distribute content. I write once and schedule to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X from one place, with images or video, which saves me hours every week.

The platform coverage is wider than most tools I looked at, and I can tailor each post per channel instead of blasting the same thing everywhere. That per-channel control is what makes running several brands as a team of one workable.

The things I lean on constantly:

- Scheduling into a review queue, so posts sit in the dashboard before they go out

- Automatic first comments on Instagram, so my hashtags and links post themselves

- Comment-to-DM automations, which turned viral posts into real email leads instead of attention I could not follow up on

- Uploading video and images through the API without a fight

For a solo operator running several brand channels, it does the work of a much bigger social stack at a fraction of the cost. The team also moves fast. A limitation I ran into was fixed within days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

A few rough edges, and one I would push on:

- Analytics are a weak spot. You get post-level numbers and a top-posts view, but for deeper reporting, performance trends over time, and real audience insight, I still end up back in each native app or a separate analytics tool.

- On comment-to-DM automations, it sends the DM but does not post an automatic public reply to the comment the way some other tools do. That public "check your DMs" reply is useful social proof and it nudges people to actually open their messages.

- Setting up those automations through the API needed a final step in the dashboard to go live, though the team has been improving this.

- There is no true draft state that waits for a manual tap on Instagram, LinkedIn, or X. You publish now or schedule for a future time, so I schedule ahead and review in the dashboard.

- Automatic first comments work on Instagram and Facebook but not LinkedIn or X, so I add those by hand.

None of these stopped me from using it almost every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best way to run social media for multiple clients through AI"
5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

Blotato is the backbone of my agency's social media service. I connect it to my AI agent (Claude Code) through Blotato's MCP, and from there I can write, schedule and publish posts to every major platform for multiple clients without ever logging into their accounts. One connection covers Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads, TikTok and Pinterest, which saved me weeks of building separate integrations. Scheduling is reliable, and posts go out when they're supposed to. For the price, nothing else comes close. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

There's a small learning curve with platform-specific rules. LinkedIn company pages need a page ID set up, and Threads posts take one image. Once you know those, it runs smoothly. I'd love to see workspaces added to make separating clients even easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Blotato’s API Makes Multi-Platform Scheduling Effortless and Great Value"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

The main draw here is the API — it's why we picked Blotato, and it delivered in a big way. We run a weekly podcast clip pipeline that pushes 11 to 14 clips per episode to seven destinations (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and two Facebook Pages), and Blotato is the only tool we tried that let us do that from a single POST endpoint without a Zapier layer in between.

Platforms were fairly easy to set up and haven't had the annoying disconnection issues knocks on wood that other similar tools seem to always have. Media hosting being included is a very neat feature — you send a URL once, Blotato ingests it to a permanent link, and every scheduled post references that. Scheduled posts are fully editable and cancelable through the API, which we've used to bulk-clean 60 posts in one pass. The docs are good, and there's a documented "ask" endpoint that returns a direct answer plus sources, which saved me from a lot of reading.

Value for money is strong. Starter is $29 a month with API access, 20 accounts, and no per-post pricing. Creator at $97 was worth it the day we outgrew Starter.

If you're looking for a complete social media tool to integrate into your existing AI workflows with Claude/ChatGPT/etc., it's hard to beat Blotato. I can't begin to estimate how many hours it has saved us of manual scheduling work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

The main flaws here are really just the rough edges of a new product. There are some small issues in the API (for example, if you put the scheduledTime field in the wrong place in the request body, Blotato doesn't reject it. It ignores it and publishes the post immediately).

One really annoying issue — the pricing page doesn't mention the scheduled-post queue cap. Starter allows 200 queued posts across the whole account, which sounds like a lot, but when you're running a full slate of platforms and daily content, it adds up fast. The Creator plan (1,000 post limit) is a sweet spot and as previously mentioned, $97 is still really solid value. Just would have been nice to know that going in.

A few other rough edges/feature issues: media URLs are fetched at publish time, not at submission, so a temporary link that's valid today fails weeks later with no warning. The good news is that the built in media hosting works well and offsets this. Also, the post-listing endpoint only shows about a week ahead and its pagination doesn't work, so you can't audit your own queue from it. And X posts are validated on raw character count, not X's own weighted count, so links eat into your budget. Facebook Page video is Reels only. And the file cap (400 MB on Starter, 1 GB above) plus no YouTube tags, chapters, or captions means it's a clips tool, not a full-episode publisher.

All that said – it's a brand new tool and the positives DRASTICALLY outweigh the negatives. Given this is built to be used with Claude/ChatGPT, it's fairly easy to navigate around the rough edges with the help of AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Multi-Platform Scheduling and Reliable Post Queuing"
4/5
What do you like best about Blotato AI?

Excellent multi-platform scheduling across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube with reliable post queuing at specific times. Ability to update post copy after scheduling without republishing. Simple account management when connecting multiple social profiles. DM automation feature available. Consistent performance week-over-week for content calendar management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blotato AI?

Visual template output quality and customization options are limited. Built-in templates render with a generic browser-style appearance that doesn't integrate well with branded newsletters or professional email aesthetics. For CRE finance content requiring custom stat cards and illustrations to match brand colors (slate, teal, lime), Blotato templates force compromises. We moved visual asset generation to Higgsfield entirely because template library doesn't support branded design flexibility. Also, newsletter content copy-paste workflow requires manual formatting fixes in Constant Contact despite Blotato's clean HTML export. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
