# What are the best financial data APIs for fintech developers consolidating market data feeds into integrated applications?

Merge Unified, Plaid, and Finch keep coming up most, but curious what others think.

I’d ask teams where complexity showed up after launch: inconsistent data fields, delayed syncs, webhook reliability, coverage gaps, or compliance reviews. The strongest API is the one that lets developers ship faster without creating a hidden maintenance layer behind the scenes.
