## About Bilendo
Bilendo is an AR automation platform that helps companies ensure scalable processes in accounts receivable, reduce costs, reduce DSO and increase liquidity. At Bilendo, we know how important it is to make debtor processes flexible and efficient. Because of their complexity, these processes require an enormous amount of resources: they are time-consuming and cost-intensive. By displaying and communicating all processes through a central point, companies avoid problems with internal coordination and processing. With workflow-based automation, processes run naturally and continuously, depending on the desired configuration - completely independent of the existing infrastructure. Our customers include hundreds of enterprise companies from a wide variety of industries. Our cloud platform supports these companies in increasing their efficiency by primarily ensuring lower process and capital costs, optimized working capital and reduced payment defaults. In addition, with Bilendo, highly relevant and up to date debtor data is centrally available that companies can use to make effective decisions. Bilendo was founded in 2015 by Markus Haggenmiller, Jakob Beyer and Florian Kappert in Munich. **What do you like best about Bilendo?**

Bilendo offers surprisingly flexible yet easy to use automation settings for accounts receivables like triggering internal clarification flows, sendIng dunnings and invoices to the customers. The possibilities to customize everything are broad; if there is a need to create increasingly complex setups, adequate support is provided to ensure the platform's functions are used to bring added value.
Setting up a new account is quite fast and they offer many possibilities to connect the accounting systems and bring them in sync with Bilendo platform. On top of the already mentioned features comes the reporting module, which is again highly customizable, it can be tailored to provide a multitude of views and angles into existing data with updates in real time.

**What do you dislike about Bilendo?**

There is not really something that I dislike about Bilendo, I would actually point out the openness to suggestions and the speed with which enhancements are brought into production.

I love the ease of use. It is really fast and convenient to have all receivables information just one click away.  
Also the no-code automation workflows are a game changer in receivables management.

**What do you dislike about Bilendo?**

In terms of reporting, there are some limitations on the custom reporting that could be improved.

**What problems is Bilendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bilendo is helping us to ensure that we are having a homogeneus dunning and claiming receivables process across the organization and that we can ensure it is done timely. And automation allows us to do it in very cost-effective way.
Bilendo is also helping us by having an almost real-time view of receivables across the organization, not only from accounting.

**What do you like best about Bilendo?**

Bilendo is very good for dunning, it helps us shorten the receivables turnover periods. Clarifications no longer need to be sent and tracked via Outlook.

**What do you dislike about Bilendo?**

The management of outstanding items for service users is (still) not possible. Individual changes have been promised, the duration of implementations could be faster. An automated transfer to the debt collection company is not possible (still in the implementation phase).

**What problems is Bilendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We resolve the daily dunning process with it and the outstanding items for clarification. We became faster in clarifying the individual outstanding items and in the dunning process. It is now dunned daily.

**What do you like best about Bilendo?**

The dunning is much easier and more comfortable. 
The daily processing of outstanding and due receivables.
I am using the Accounts Receivable Management, Booking journal, Dunning, Service portal

**What do you dislike about Bilendo?**

by a big company there a coming a lot E-Mails in the Inbox.
Sometime have to click a lot until you come to the right workingway.
Sometome its confusing, it eskalating very fast and sometime it take a long time until eskalation.

**Recommendations to others considering Bilendo:**

It makes part of the daily work more manamore manageable
You don't have weekly "work peaks" and you have a good eye on the outstanding debts.
You can act faster.
Maybe first when go live ist little difficult and look cofusing but when you working every day with Bilendo it will be calm.

**What problems is Bilendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

exact dunning and can do every day. Better distribution of work.
Everybody can look and if someone is sick or on holidy one can make representation. a clarification can easily be made at any time

**What do you like best about Bilendo?**

- Sleek and easy-to-use user interface
- Useful overviews and reports (booking journal, debtor management, ...)
- All basic necessities for a CR tool (organisation setup, templates, ...)
- Good and timely support

**What do you dislike about Bilendo?**

- Application is mainly in German. Although it is largely translated to English, there are still some places where there's a lack of good translation (support pages, updates and import file structure for example)
- Limited logging of what's going wrong within file import screen and e-mails (for example when e-mail server has an error)

**What problems is Bilendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're currently sending reminders to our client through Bilendo and use the application to keep up with the open/cleared items and specific client remarks/notes. The application is used by multiple users over 4 countries and is a replacement for the alternative tool which is a part of our ERP system (and which is currently not used).

Intuitive control of the application for users. System functionalities are not expandable and individually usable.

Regarding development, there are no dead ends in the thought process and thus no restrictions for the entrepreneurial operational process.

Bilendo serves as a technical development partner in the implementation of operational guidelines, business cases, and processes.

The automatic dunning process and automatic clarification requests

Nothing. But a possibility to create clarifications with non-bilendo-Users (customers, employees without access to bilendo) would still be necessary.

**Recommendations to others considering Bilendo:**

In contrast to other providers, the implementation could be carried out very quickly and the individual adaptations of the interfaces could also be completed quickly.

**What problems is Bilendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the automatic dunning run and the automatic creation of the clarification requests saved us resources. At the same time, we were able to partially digitalise the sending of reminders or outsource it to a third-party provider. What is advantageous in times of Corona and home office

**What do you like best about Bilendo?**

Getting in contact with people involved via the system! Many possibilities to filter and create tailor-made reports. Graphical supports of overdue receivables.
I am not aware of any competitors products but I am sure, that Bilendo already covers a lot of functions for the daily use.

**What do you dislike about Bilendo?**

I would highly appreciate if we could have the chance to separate the workflows more broadly. For example after Brands, ... 
It would also be great if we could have a feature to get in touch with people outside of the system - e.g. texting to a colleague via Email, who has no User for the system but he/she can response via Email!

**Recommendations to others considering Bilendo:**

Make some learning journeys, get in contact with companies already using the system. Prepare trainings for the potential user and install an internal key-user for first level support topics.

**What problems is Bilendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

System-based processing of receivables management with audit-proof documentation of the steps taken.
The most important benefit is that we could get rid of the exchange of information via Emails.

Direct connection to our ERP system. 
Modern simple interface that can be used by all users after a short introduction.
Direct communication possible in case of system problems.

It is not possible to distinguish between the invoice date and the shipping date. The dunning process always uses the invoice date as a basis. Invoices / reminders cannot be sent to multiple e-mail addresses

Analyze in advance exactly what requirements are expected of the tool and what information must be provided for this purpose.

**What problems is Bilendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster invoice shipping. The sales department can independently overview its open receivables. Clarification of open items is simplified and customers are informed about overpayments.

Reminding in Bilendo is super easy, fast, and very clear, and letters can also be sent very quickly. It is also very positive that you can set a reminder block until a certain date.

**What do you dislike about Bilendo?**

Not all new texts from SAP are transferred to Bilendo. The Debtor Management tab is very slow to open and Bilendo is very confusing regarding the outstanding claims.

Bilend is a new interesting program that makes work much easier in many ways.

Faster dunning process that can be carried out daily, and you no longer have to write the letters to the customers yourself, but instead have predefined texts in Bilendo to choose from.

Automatic clarification roll-up, credit at a glance, statistics on payment behavior clearly presented, easy creation of customer letters possible

**What do you dislike about Bilendo?**

multiple clarifications are automatically created for a case - if it does not concern an invoice but a payment, no clarification is created, so it is easy to overlook a deduction from the customer

**What problems is Bilendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reminder management is simplified, so you only remind when the invoice is due and not all at once. The business also receives a few clarifications every day and not a whole list every few weeks.

The waiting period if you load de page new is long, but this is cause manly of too many data, so there even can be some time to wait. But that's completely ok.

The chronological traceability of the processing history (one can always track when and how the request has already been processed).

More often, 3 tickets are opened for a case. However, this always concerns the same act and requires that the answer must be entered 3 times?!

**What problems is Bilendo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many sources of error are thereby rectified (incorrectly or not at all recorded down payments, outstanding payments from customers and leasing companies). Often, only after a prompt from Bilendo, which points out the error, is a clarifying solution sought, as the problem was not known before.

the customer reminders are clear - you can send reminders very easily through the program (they are automatically forwarded to the post office)

one receives way too many emails - it's easy to lose track. You must enter data into SAP and Bilendo simultaneously, otherwise it won't work.

Reminding is great because you can remind the customer with just a few clicks. The overview of some sections is also great because you can set many filters.

**What do you dislike about Bilendo?**

Unfortunately, one often has to click several times before returning to the desired page, and loading often takes a very long time. It should be more tailored to the companies to facilitate work.

By working with Bilendo, daily work could be "streamlined" and many work processes automated. The modern work environment.
