Great wrapper - easy-to-use interface, well organized. It appears that the site is responding to user comments and adding features as needed or requested. The concept of promoting the influencer to brands in a reverse job board is an interesting concept and Beauty Clout is nicely packaged and well focused on its target audience. The Brand and Influencer tabs take you immediately to an application form. Gigs leads to a separate landing page with different but similar branding with 7 drop downs. The drop downs get a Brand rep right to quality candidates who are willing and qualified to promote on channels that target the marketing needs of the brand or campaign. What do you dislike about Beauty Clout?

Disappointingly neither the 'blog' nor the 'Shopify' links worked. I was looking for information about the site's promotion - social sites, the promotion of the influencers, or even an about me section to learn how the business operates and who is behind the Emerald Curtain. There is limited information. It appears that most of the business is conducted through Facebook and Instagram promotion. There is a 'Review' section with 748 reviews, but the page only displays 35 reviews with "5-star" ratings. The 'more' tab at the bottom of the 'review' page will not pull up anymore after 3 extensions. Dig a little further on the website and learned that the privacy notice is offline with a 477 notice - but the rest of the site works just fine, so it is likely a technical oversight and was not authored. What problems is Beauty Clout solving and how is that benefiting you?

Beauty Clout connects Brands and Influencers. This benefits me by providing a direct B2B service in a clearly organized and logical format. Getting started in the influencer arena this site appeals to my needs. I only wish they had more information about how the business model operates - ie what their fee schedule is; how they actively promote their business to Brands; and which Brands use their platform regularly. If I were on the other side of the fence working as a Brand rep, I would want to know what I would be expected to pay to retain an influencer, not the influencer fee(s), but the Beauty Clout franchise, retainer, or placement fees. I would also like to know if they made specific referrals or if I, the rep, need to do my own sorting. Also, what sort of dispute resolution do they do, if any, should there be challenges to working with their represented influencers? I am sure you could probably email Beauty Clout to get this information, but an FAQ would go a long way to add confidence to the business's reputation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
