No, there weren’t any. **What problems is Beacons Point solving and how is that benefiting you?** We initially discussed what we envisioned and what we wanted to emulate with our brand in terms of ad style. From there, our team and Beacons point had back-and-forth conversations around budget and deliverables. After agreeing on the project’s cost, we had another meeting to discuss the vision and specifics of the ads. Their team put together a storyboard for us and created the messaging based on our directions. We locked in the plan and location and had some conversations about the talent. The filming day happened in April 2024, and it was a 12-hour day. After the filming day, we wrapped up the set, and they did the edits. About three weeks later, they sent us some cuts to review. We saw the first edits, and they gave us two options for the ending. From there, we finalized the payment and paid our final bill. They sent the folder with the assets and everything we needed. ### 2. Make sure everyone is on the same page so the process can go smoothly. **What problems is Beacons Point solving and how is that benefiting you?** Beacons point was responsible for creating explainer videos to show what we do and who we are in a visual and easy-to-understand way. We had a specific aesthetic and tone to represent our company and gave them a brand book and an outlined script to start. Beacon gave us a proposal the next day, and we got started from there. We storyboarded with Beacons point, collaborated with them to pick out voice-over options, and worked together on the animation. We finalized the voice-over with the animation, and Beacon point provided sound effects for the final product. The result was a multi-media video with custom animation and stock video. Beacons point handled everything in-house, and the videos were less than two minutes long. ### 3. However, at the same time, they are open to feedback and suggestions from "non-professionals." During the editing process I were looking for peices of content that may be able to enhance the piece a bit more and Gabe knew exactly when footage and quotes he could pull for that. Share the vision and mission of mass.govs. Share the culture of mass.govs. We hired Beacons Point to help put together a set of films that explain our company's founding story. Our marketing team lead organized who was to be interviewed from our company and supplied the prompts that they were to answer. When we gathered with Snowy Peak for the filming, they took care of the setup, directing, and filming of the interviews. They also were able to go out into the field and take b-roll of certain aspects of what our employees do everyday for work. This b-roll was edited into the interviews and founder stories to make great videos! Beacons Point handled all of the editing afterwards, all while we coordinated with them on parts of the interviews and the information that needed to be in the videos. ### 6. They took our original vision and made it better, so you can't really ask for more than that. **What problems is Beacons Point solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shoot and edit footage for the video project, a docu-style video featuring a voice over-based script while adding specific interview sound-bites from five authority figures in 5 different cities. 2-camera Interviews (along with any applicable B-Roll footage on a 1-day shoot at 5 different locations B-Roll can also be captured at the Headquarters Capture interviews of authority figures for the 5-7 minute video with the goal to capture enough footage to produce additional shorter social media and promotional videos. All of the deliverables will include a custom motion graphics package (opening & closing graphics + Lower Third titles) and royalty-free music. All videos will be delivered in a web-friendly MP4 format. Raw footage will also be provided upon request. We will use a combination of Tripod, Gimbal (steady movement), and Handheld techniques with a focus on capturing cinematic footage. We will provide lighting and audio equipment for interviews and utilize natural lighting for the B-Roll footage. Beacons Point started by taking videos of the office and our employees in order to try to communicate the big picture and mission of our firm. For the most part, we are using the videos internally to help our lawyers get to know each other better. They handled preproduction, including scripting, as well as the whole filming process and postproduction editing of the videos, which were each around 1–2 minutes long, and there were multiple of those. We also worked with them to develop some of our strategy for Facebook ads. We represent school districts, so it was a little bit difficult for us to figure out how to approach those, but they were very helpful in helping us to select a target audience and execute those. ### 10. Beacons Point performed well on everything. They were involved, brought all the people, and edited everything really fast. Moreover, we didn’t need iterations — it was amazing the first time. They had a good vision for what we were trying to create. The end client was happy with the video. It looked good and presented the brand, which was what mattered. Overall, they exceeded the expectations on how quickly they delivered and how few iterations we needed. **What do you dislike about Beacons Point?** They could be more accessible in their pricing. If something was outside our scope of work, they were able to do it. Initially, we asked them to help with production so we could just be involved with creative direction. They followed the steps and were very thorough, going back and forth on the project’s progress. Also, they had an excellent outsourcing team to help with editing and animation. The video was a recap of a corporate event for an e-commerce brand. The company is the only one with access to the video. It had a couple of intro animations, but it was mostly live. Overall, it was a collaborative effort on the creative part, but Beacons Point helped with the music and edited everything from beginning to end. ### 11. Beacons Point were able to adjust quickly and accommodate our requirements. The quality of the output was great despite the budget restrictions and limited access to assets in the beginning of the project. In the end the output was a total of 12 creatives. ### 13.
