Although our agency recently transitioned to a competitor, there was a lot I appreciated about Basis. The platform brought omnichannel planning, activation, and campaign oversight into one centralized workflow, reducing duplicate effort across programmatic, search, social, CTV, audio, video, and direct buys. As a paid advertising manager, I found that especially useful for maintaining consistent campaign details and monitoring delivery across channels. The absence of minimum spend requirements gave us room to test new approaches and support clients with smaller or more localized budgets. Basis also provided excellent account support whenever we encountered technical questions or unfamiliar inventory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Before our agency recently transitioned to a competing platform, the main limitation I experienced with Basis was the flexibility of its native reporting. As a paid advertising manager, I often needed more granular, client-ready breakdowns and visualizations than the platform could provide directly. This sometimes meant exporting campaign data and refining it in a separate reporting tool, which added another step to the workflow. More advanced CTV campaigns could also involve additional manual setup compared with more specialized platforms. These limitations were manageable, but stronger reporting and more streamlined CTV execution would have made Basis a better fit for our agency’s ever-evolving needs.
