AX Semantics makes it easy for writers who do not have a technical background to extract and transform data for use in text. Once that data is available to the writer, it is easily accessed in the AX Semantics "Write mode," where the NLG/content automation project looks like writing on a page rather than programming code. It's easy to read and modify. With the logic of the sentence paths, conditionals, and grammar clearly visible, the writer can concentrate on the writing rather than on the tech. Although the product is (of course) suitable for short-form writing, it is also ideal for creating long-form output. I understand that it is widely used in Europe for product descriptions. Here in the United States, I've used AX-Semantics, to create projects that run to thousands of words, and have been well-received by U.S. customers. Naturally, the creation of the content is instant. I'm answering this question only because it's a requirement for posting the review. I have nothing negative to say about AX-Semantics! Based on the Company's previous product improvements, I am confident in the Company's product roadmap. The product will continue to improve as development continues. The start can be complicated, but after you get into it with the help of the online tutorials and the documentation it's great to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The AX Semantics tool is able to generate individual product descriptions based on product characteristics and logic way faster than by manually creation. By flexible arranging of information and utilizing of synonyms it ensures no text duplicates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The AX Semantics tool has currently no integrated translation function. Product characteristics have to be implemented and framework has to be created per language. To scale more, especially for international projects with international operating customers a feature like this is highly recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AX Semantics expands my role as a copywriter immensely. Among other things I am a bit of an idea designer, data analyst, developer, translator, project manager and much more. This way I can implement my own ideas and constantly learn something new. It is also incredibly satisfying to generate the first texts at the push of a button.

Don't expect too much or any kind of magic: the texts will only be as good as your work.

I didn't particularly appreciate that the structure of the different paths is a bit confusing whether you build quite complicated sentences. Maybe a more precise design would make it easier for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most important part for us is that AX Semantics is a tool, that will save you and your team a lot of time while bringing up texts of really good quality.

While the initial work might be a bit tedious (depending on your number of products and stuff like that), in the long run, it is unbeatable.

We tried writing our product descriptions by hand, with all the SEO stuff, but it was too time-consuming. Now with AX, it is really fast and easy,

I wouldn't consider it a downside but the work you have to put in first (learning the program, cleaning up and sorting your initial datasets) is not to be underestimated.
