It wasnt very transparent to us that compression prevents more than 2TB machines to be migrated. If you need to migrate a system that is more than 2TB then you must disable compression. Also, when migrating something on a Microsoft AD Domain, you have to quarantine the box, remove from domain/change name, rejoin to domain with new name or you will get some errors for object collisions on your AD. I like the fact that it has a connector for several different types of emulators, and frankly, that it exists at all given that migration from data centers to AWS is a given and there aren't many ways to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very inconsistent behavior from the VMWare connector - one second it's healthy, the next it's not, with no real indication of what's gone wrong. Just try your luck disassociating and bouncing the OVA appliance until it can finally import the server catalog. And then once the replication starts, it's slower than molasses in January. 4 hours on a modest sized server with two of those hours stuck at 2% upload and green status across the board. Amazon server migration is good service provided by amazon to move our source and instances from one zone to another zone without any impacts, It solving mainly latency and cost issues by moving them from one zone to another zone.
