Rest all is just FINE !! **Recommendations to others considering AWS IoT Analytics:** Rather than collecting data in excel sheets and then giving that data to other visualization platforms USE AWS IoT analytics in order to cloudify your solution and analyze and visualize your data at scale. **What problems is AWS IoT Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have more than 100 devices deployed on the Production, onsite and to monitor that all that devices are currently giving their 100 percent we are taking the data previously to google sheets but after integration to AWS IoT we are able to gather the data and analyze this all data at scale within a fraction of minutes. AWS IoT analytics helps me to integrate seamlessly without any hardware and software requirements challenges. ### 2. Especially for the startup where fast shipping is really important. You can directly work with your data like sending emails, sms using lambda function, sns, sqs and so on. **What do you dislike about AWS IoT Analytics?** Lack of proper guidelines like how to connect to the core, how to connect to other services.These documents are hard to find. **Recommendations to others considering AWS IoT Analytics:** I would suggest this service.AWS team is a customer-focused organization, and they do everything possible to make a customer happy. They already have improved the setup, and it's a continuous process. **What problems is AWS IoT Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?** I worked with an electricity sharing platform(solar electricity) where real-time communication was very very important like if a meter went out of money, we needed to let the customer know to recharge the meter at no time so that they could stay productive. So using analytics, we measure the current balance and send notifications to the customer.There are many more features like those. ### 3. Helps identify trends and is really useful in my area of Forecasting !! as well as trend prediction - there are also workarounds for very niche and specific methods like Holt's linear, simple exponential smoothening, Holt's winter linear forecasting ! **What do you dislike about AWS IoT Analytics?** It hangs a bit and slows down often since the data load is pretty heavy , also you need good system integration with the Amazon web services cloud system. I am basically using it to analyze waste analysis or smart dustbins - I get the data from the bins when they are full, what kind of composition of waste is present and how much is predicted in the coming weeks or months and accordingly help the waste management team 2.
