You can add some effects to your tracks, and also you can use it to mix the whole song or record. Im very interested on experiment for a long time with this software. It have a nice control to add VST and plugs, and even record and manage your own track on it. **What do you dislike about AVS Audio Editor?** For the time the software have no problems on my experience, actually im going to start to manage my whole media on this software. Maybe it have some little issues but im still learning to get the best results, its just a matter of time to have a complete opinion about. **Recommendations to others considering AVS Audio Editor:** Actually im working on a podcast streamming based on the audio edition and how to get the best experience and the nicest results, wich its a casualty talking about the post audio edit and the sampler mixing its been doing on AVS audio editor by now, so i definetely recommend this software to edit your audio. **What problems is AVS Audio Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** If you're trying to make easier your work about recording and mixing, and you have a pc with low requirements but you also need a nice program to edit, you can definitely trying on this software i think you may be become fast and more effective the way you're working. ### 3. AVS also supports audio recording, so you can record and edit in one program, without the hassle of file transfers. It offers all of the complex editing options, but in a really easy-to-use format. I like that you can edit a single file of audio and edit together a mix to add in music overlay, etc. all in the same program. **What do you dislike about AVS Audio Editor?** There isn't much I dislike about the software. There are occasions where it will crash mid-edit, but I can't blame that entirely on the software. **Recommendations to others considering AVS Audio Editor:** Use the free trial to get used to it's functionalities. Since buying it also includes other AVS products like their video editor, I would also suggest trying those products to see if it something you can utilize. **What problems is AVS Audio Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I mainly use it to edit, podcasts, and video voiceovers. ### 4. It is easy to pick out music and combine tracks due to one addition and search button. **What do you dislike about AVS Audio Editor?** Very slow, inconsistent and sometimes unresponsive depending on how much I choose to upload at once which is quite inconvenient. **Recommendations to others considering AVS Audio Editor:** Possibly get the best internet ever because maybe that'll help it run quicker but then again, I am almost 100% positive that the software itself is just slow so plan ahead if you plan on editing and uploading anything. **What problems is AVS Audio Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Some business problems would be rushing to create audio tracks Day in advance due to the fact that I know how slow the software will probably be. ### 5. It has support for many types of audio files both for reading and writing the edited file (including lossless Flac). You get all the tools you expect to find in an editor, all presented in a very easy to use and clean interface that you can master within minutes of using the software. The two main features I use are the noise removal that allows you to clean your audio file from hissing and popping sounds and the ability to amplify the audio volume. You do get many other effects that are more suitable for enhancing music files, but I never tried them. Editing an audio file is done using a standard timeline which allows you to trim the file, cut parts, delete them or join parts from different audio files. All those features are very easy to use and you can get started working immediately after installing the software. It also supports recording, so you can record your microphone and/or system audio, rip CDs to digitize your music collection and even extract audio from video files. The installation is simple and the performance is very good, even on low spec PCs (it works on any version of windows from XP to windows 10) A demo version is available to test it before you buy. For the price you get many other tools from AVS to edit audio, video and images, from those I find their Video Converter very useful. **What do you dislike about AVS Audio Editor?** Not much not to like about this software but the free open source Audacity is as full featured as AVS Audio Editor but is much more complex to use. The price is a bit expensive if you only need one of the tools AVS suite includes.
