Having a shared NEXIS environment on the go is a huge plus, and the ability to collaborate at any time is fantastic. Lastly you get a dedicated support team who is intent on making sure everything runs smoothly. **What do you dislike about Avid | Edit On Demand?** You are limited to a few things. One being stereo audio which really isn't too bad. Most people edit in good old stereo anyway. You CAN have full screen playback, but it's a bit complicated. If you're doing a single setup and staying put, it is possible and worth it. Avid support will help you set up. **What problems is Avid | Edit On Demand solving and how is that benefiting you?** We host features and tv shows. Sometimes clients want to go to other facilities just for the sake of one person. But when using Avid On-Demand we're able to help our clients get the best of both worlds. Some clients can be remote, and others can be in office using AOD. It's very helpful to our business. ### 3. That being said, there are plenty of books that one can buy if one is interested in switching over from other platfoms. **Recommendations to others considering Avid | Edit On Demand:** Read, read, read. I can not overstate how important it is to understand the fundamentals of this incredible software. **What problems is Avid | Edit On Demand solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting my projects from all over the world and being able to continue working on them right from the get-go has been a game-changer for me. As mentioned before, the books that deal with AVID are an excellent resource and have helped me leap from a complete beginner to somewhat of an expert on the software. ### 5.
