What I dislike most is that the platform has a bit of a learning curve. It takes some time and effort to understand the system and get your first deal set up. I really appreciate the support and the team at Avestor. They've built a community of awesome people who are very supportive. The legal team is particularly helpful when I have issues or need to deal with structuring. I love how the software does everything I need and more. Setting it up once and being able to handle multiple deals is pretty great. Also, the API and integration capabilities are a big plus, especially since it seamlessly connects with tools like Go HighLevel, Accred, and QuickBooks Online. The setup was made super easy with their help, and honestly, running my business without Avestor would be far more costly and less profitable. I like the financial side of Avestor that allows my investors to track the progress of projects, see where their investment lies, and understand what the returns are. Avestor also provides the ability to give K-1s to my investors, making management easier for me. Additionally, it provides ease of use and efficiencies, so I'm not bogged down by paperwork issues. I like Avestor for managing funds, especially for real estate and hedge funds. It's great at keeping everything legal and ensuring capital is raised correctly. It's also really good for helping investors see their accounts, track their money flow, and view transactions, providing a lot of good reports. The convertible fund, pioneered by Avestor, allows for a single PPM and multiple deals with individual deal disclosures in your fund. That in and of itself saves a fund manager multiple thousands of dollars. It's a great platform with a bit of a learning curve, but not too difficult once you get into it. Their support is really good, and they are particularly effective in compliance with SEC regulations, which helps us stay compliant. I value the platform itself and the technology behind it. ACH integration makes cash distributions very convenient, allowing me to easily distribute funds to others. Additionally, I appreciate the responsive engineering team that's adapting the platform for various fund types. Avestor is built and geared mostly towards real estate investments, which makes it a bit tricky for other types of investing vehicles like hedge funds and stock funds that I'm working with. There are some workarounds needed to make it work, but on the bright side, their engineering team is really responsive and they're working on adapting the platform for the type of funds I work with. Also, there's a bit of a learning curve to it, but it's really not that difficult once you get into it. The initial setup requires at least a moderate level of technical know-how. I really like that the non-corporate feel at Avestor which consists of very engaged entrepreneurs. They're open to feedback and constantly improving their product and user experience. The system is user-friendly, and they're great at taking feedback about adjustments or changes in features. I use the platform on a regular basis to manage our share of ownership and distributions to our Fund investors.
