**What do you like best about Avantra?**

AVANTRA By Syslink is quite flexible and easy to use, implement and understand tool. In recent, many new Add-Ins library automations were added by syslink like ST03N Dialog Response Time, system copy, system refresh etc...and we are working on them and will roll out soon to our customer MBAG.

**What do you dislike about Avantra?**

Not much but yes few points ate there where Syslink needs to improve-

1) Customer Support- Their approach to address the ticket queries raised by customer and response they are providing.
2) Few bugs reported in the tool feature like kernel version detection, agent upgrade and its been like more than months but vendor haven't releases any patch to fix that post promising many times.

**What problems is Avantra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a BASIS Administrator there are many tasks which we used to do manually all the time like preparaing Health Check report, various upgrades like host agent, kernel upgrade and day to day monitoring. We have been using Avantra since  3 years and its been a boon to us, now all servers, systems, BO systems, standlaone DB's, Cloud connectors all are being monitored using various standard and customs checks in avantra. Its automation capabilities and integration with ServiceNow for alerting is quite awesone. Most of the basis tasks avantra has automated alomost and we are using like kernel upgrade and many more to go like system refresh, system copy, Transport etc..

**What do you like best about Avantra?**

The tool is very User-friendly, has advanced features such as alerts and monitoring. I also like its ability to customize and generate reports which we can share with the management. Compared to many such products, Avantra is very easy to deploy.

**What do you dislike about Avantra?**

The tool has issues related to deployment in legacy operating systems. We also faced troubles during the alert configurations. Another drawback is in the customization of reports. The reports are auto-generated with limited functionalities to customize.

**Recommendations to others considering Avantra:**

Avantra is the leading business process management automation platform for IT operations. Go for it.

**What problems is Avantra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently use Avantra for business process monitoring, performance ad compliance monitoring, health checks, automated SAP operations, and collaboration with different IT stakeholders.

We used to suffer from a high business operational cost due to the traditional way of operating the business. We needed a tool that would enhance our customer rating as well as reduce the business operating cost. With Avantra, we were able to achieve the digitization goal.

I love that we can automate all the daily and real-time monitoring and that we have can automatically generate SLA reports. It is so nice not have to do it using Solman.

**What do you dislike about Avantra?**

Nothing really. I love it!
I guess I would love for them to improve their UI.

Let them show it to you, you'll be amazed how many things you always wanted some tool to do, Avantra does

**What problems is Avantra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solve several things:
1. We've lately migrated some of our SAP workloads to Google Cloud and the integration allowing us to automatically scale SAP based on its performance and real-time needs
2. We needed a way to use ServiceNow for the SAP environment - using Avantra we can
3. We were drowning in too many false alarms which were making it really hard to find the root-cause

**What problems is Avantra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have progressed from a basic use (historic review of servers and systems), to more proactive activity (SNow integration, alerts to functional users).  The product is quite functional, but has a bit of a learning curve.  A recent upgrade went very smooth.

As a service provider, we have found an SAP monitoring solution with automated service reports and custom checks that has no competition on the market. We would recommend Avantra at any time. The support team was always helpful and the know-how was unrivalled.

we cannot report anything negative about Avantra and its services and products

Just take the trial version for free and make your own experience.

we have the possibility to generate live reports directly at the customer's site and reduce the manual activities in SAP Basis to a minimum.

it have the great functionality to monitor the application, database, OS on realtime to send alert, with very flexiable implementation method

**What do you dislike about Avantra?**

Documentation availibility is less which can helpt to improvise the issues facing during the support.

Simply the best light waight less effots and best real time monitoring tool which all customer can use in the existing landscape with lots of fucntionality of email, SMS alerting on real time base with recommended resolutions with the alert.

we were facing the reporting issue for our SAP landscape, after implementing Xandira monitoring tool in our enviornment customer were happy to receive the monthly report with graphical as well as tabular form for the alert generation mechanism

Tool is very good, to cover OS and application related to pics and to configure monitoring and Hardening related tasks.

Standalone HANA DB "Used Database Space" not resulting..

**What do you like best about Avantra?**

This product is just awesome, in the first day we used the product we found things in production we didn't even know about. So right there alone it already returned the investment. Prior to Xandria we were using a combination of Solman and how grown product. We were considering upgrade the Solution Manager 7.2 but then we saw a demo of this product and we were blown. The POC showed us so fast the value that we didn't even complete the POC time and bought the product. 

**What do you dislike about Avantra?**

I'm very happy so far, would love to see better documentation of the API, but what they have is not bad

**Recommendations to others considering Avantra:**

Try it, you won't regret it

**What problems is Avantra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We gain several benefits:
1. We get smart notification which are compound of multiple notification so the notification actually have significant and we don't get almost any unnecessary ones
2. We get complete landscape visibility - we saw really easily that the dev wasn't running the same Kernel version as production. 
3. I love their new dashboards
