We help fix a very specific technical email issue, we flatten SPF records that exceed the 10-lookup threshold. AutoSPF automatically maintains updated SPF records for businesses. **What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

It does what it promises to do, and does it very well. I appreciate that it keeps a log of changes made, which prevents many mistakes. A client's SPF record would have way too many lookups, but AutoSPF makes that problem go away. The length of the SPF record is typically not the issue; it's the amount of lookups in the record that are. AutoSPF "flattens" the record, automatically expanding the defined lookups to IP addresses or ranges. And it auto-updates the record when the un-flattened lookups change. BTW I discovered AutoSPF in a web search several years ago. I do not recall any other product that I evaluated, but the price seemed right (still is), and I haven't looked back.

**What do you dislike about AutoSPF?**

Minor: You can comment on each entry, but the saved comments are not shown in the portal unless you click on them.  Not a big deal, but this should be fixed. Otherwise there's a bit of a learning curve, but IMO it's well worth it.

**What problems is AutoSPF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It does exactly what they say it does, and I haven’t seen any outages that would affect its performance. The price I paid feels quite reasonable for what it is and what it delivers.

**What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

AutoSPF did exactly as described, it helped us get past our 10 lookup limit. Afterwards, we hit another limit regarding overall capacity and when contacted, they quickly provided us with a new solution to eliminate capacity issues entirely going forward, so now we can add as many SPF records as needed. They also provided us with a personalized support video explaining their new method in its entirety using our instance as the example, which helped us to better understand their solution.

**What do you dislike about AutoSPF?**

Honestly, a few billing errors were the biggest issue, but the company worked diligently to helps us determine where the issue was and get it resolved. This team really is one of the better vendors we work with.

**What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

AutoSPF was easy to initially set up on our own and a great cost effective entry into spf flattening.  Needed our first support assistance today and got great response including a video demonstrating the issue I was trying to solve, a quick fix, and more detailed followup.

I haven't found anything yet that I dislike.

Getting our spf record down within limits.  With some of the external services we use, flattening became a must.

Simple to use and easy to deploy! Moreover, administration and maintenance of our SPF record is super simple.

Nothing. This product is an absolute must have for email administrators.

**What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

AutoSPF is a simple tool to solve a significant problem.  It does it so very well without any issues.  Additionally, the support is very professional and goes above and beyond to help resolve any email-related issues for their customers.

**What do you dislike about AutoSPF?**

We found nothing to dislike about the service.

**What problems is AutoSPF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upon discovering we could not send out-of-office messages, we checked if there was an issue with our AutoSPF settings.  After raising a ticket, we hopped on a Zoom call with support and, after a few minutes, discovered that our DKIM records were not set up correctly.   

AutoSPF support provided us tips on how to resolve the problem, which was far beyond the scope of their service.  Not long after, everything was functioning again as expected.  AutoSPF’s fantastic support saved us hours, if not days, of further troubleshooting time by knowing right away what the problem was.

**What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

The ease of use of the product really let's us "set it and forget it" when it comes to SPF management.  The product support - specifically with Brad Slavin is top notch.  He spent over a half hour helping me find information and fix an issue that had nothing to do with his job.  His technical knowledge of not only his product but also how to get answers and solutions for other real-world issues is unmatched.

We really like everything about the product and its support.

SPF management had become a bit overwhelming with the rapid increase of third party companys sending on our behalf.  The limited number of lookups allowed made it very difficult to manage.  AutoSPF takes care of all of that.  Easiest solution ever.

**What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

A colleague of mine told me that my email was hackable because of an SPF error she received.  I didn't even know anything about authenticating SPF for email at all.  I got in touch with Brad, and he was simply amazing.  He broke everything down in easy steps and was able to solve my problem so fast.  My small business is now protected and I couldn't have done it without him.  He went above and beyond to help me.

There is nothing that I do not like about this.

My email deliverability was being affected by the SPF fail and the colleague we sent the email to was worried we could be hacked like they were.

**What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

Customer service is exceptional. We were getting bounced emails with SPF errors but when we checked our SPF record it came back fine. We had no idea how to troubleshoot but opened a priority ticket and had a Zoom invite within minutes and had the problem solved with 30 minutes.

**What do you dislike about AutoSPF?**

No dislikes. We haven't used the product long but it works, the price is great, and support is awesome.

**Recommendations to others considering AutoSPF:**

The pricing is fantastic. We were paying significantly more for SPF flattening from our previous vendor. When we had a self-inflicted issue with email deliverability related to SPF, Brad quickly sent us a Zoom invite and walked us through the process. His knowledge was outstanding and he knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. The best part is none of the problems were with AutoSPF, the problems were with our MX record and some settings in O365. He could have easily said, "Your SPF record checks fine so there's nothing I can do," but he didn't.

We have a lot of systems that need to send email on our behalf and we quickly ran out of room to add new systems. AutoSPF solved that.

**What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

AutoSPF solved an issue for us that would have required a pretty sloppy manual hack that would also have been prone to, essentially, getting out of date. For an extremely fair price, AutoSPF takes care of the issue, and I don't have to worry about it ever again. On top of that the support for this product is among the best I've experienced in the tech industry at large. I know these guys care, and they obviously know their stuff. If every company was this good, society would really be going places.

Nothing thus far in terms of what it achieves for us. It works well and is incredibly simple to set up.

**Recommendations to others considering AutoSPF:**

If this is something you need for your spf records, I wouldn't hesitate to sign up.

**What problems is AutoSPF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AutoSPF fixes an issue we had where we had too many DNS calls in our spf setup on AWS. This was potentially affecting some of our deliverability, and getting us back into the "healthy" range via AutoSPF eliminates this possibility.

**What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

It does everything they say it will, and does it well. Very easy to set up, and easy to make changes. I highly recommend the automatic paid version; the price could not be more reasonable.

At one point, Mimecast began sending authorized emails on my client's behalf from an IP range that was not in their own SPF includes. I was able to discover this range fairly easily and add it to my autospf configuration.  It took effect pretty-much instantly.

**What do you dislike about AutoSPF?**

Short learning curve but really not too bad. My biggest issue (not so big) is that it's so set-and-forget that I have to re-learn the interface a bit when returning to it after some time. It really works that well.

Seriously minor issue: After months of use with no issues: for a couple of days in December 2020, users reported a scant handful of bounces (mail they had sent) due to SPF issues, and some deliveries to recipient's Spam mailboxes (instead of Inbox).  The total reported was under 10 emails, so there probably were a few more. Autospf reported some issues with their cloud provider (Cloudflare) when I asked about it. The problem has not been seen before or since. I continue to wholeheartedly recommend autospf.

**What problems is AutoSPF solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My client has more then 3 services that send email on their behalf using their domain name, including their 3rd party email filter, the company app's preferred service (Mimecast), and email marketing services. All of these utilize SPF includes, and the result, before subscribing to autospf,  was the expected "too many lookups." Autospf's SPF flattening works like a charm; does exactly what it claims to do. SPF records are dynamically updated when the IP addresses/ranges behind linked includes are changed.

The ease! Brad was on the phone with me, screen sharing almost immediately. After a long time with broken SPF records, he quickly turned it around and also walked me through every single step, so I knew exactly what was happening and WHY. Also the help, Brad was so willing to dive into all my delivery issues to try and figure out the root issues.

I like everything about the service. So happy that I chose to use AutoSPF.

The fact that we don't have to monitor if a company changes their IP addresses.
It automatically flattens it for us which requires less work on our end.
Doesn't force us to be the experts on everything and allows us to focus on what matters in our company.
Easy to understand.

We do not find any downsides to AutoSPF. It has simplified our SPF process and has made it much more visible to our team.

It will simplify your email system and ensure your company is setting everything up properly. Brad is also extremely helpful in setting it up and with any follow up questions I have.

**What do you like best about AutoSPF?**

The response time was so quick.  I filed a help ticket and within two hours, I got a response from Brad.  Each email after that was immediate.  He was a little unclear of the issue and suggested we talk to make sure he could help.  Once he identified the problem, he showed me how to fix it and I was up and running in a couple minutes.  I have found that SPF records are not a thing a lot of people know even a little about.  Brad knew exactly what I was talking about, what I needed and was able to assist me using a language I could understand.  I do not see myself a "tech savvy" bbut I was able to follow his directions with ease.

**What do you dislike about AutoSPF?**

There were no down sides!  I could not be happier!

I wanted to be able to send emails form our company email from a service software we are using. The SPF record allows an email to be sent from their app from my email.

Simple to configure, deploy, and maintain.  Amazing support team that can assist throughout entire process.

Low price tag can make it hard to quantify the significant value to leadership.  (Seems too good to be true)

Reach out to support and let them know what your challenges and goals are.  They will provide expert advice.  Their goal is to make enterprise email administration easier.

Prior to AutoSPF we were running into the 10 domain lookup limitation of the SPF protocol.  We have multiple email systems and marketing tools that all require SPF lookups and non of them provide IPs to use in SPF records.  With autoSPF we can rest easy as we know the 14+ lookups is no longer a limitation and we can now support our business needs.

I disliked that when we were on the zoom call the power at our University went out.

We were directed to Autospf as our SPF record was maxed out in length. We contacted them and Brad instructed us that we didn't really need the service as we can accomplish this with our current DNS hosting site. Brad walked us though on how to accomplish this and very helpful. Didn't try to sell us on the product as we didn't really need the service. Appreciated his time and we were able to implement the change on our existing platform.
