"Feature-Rich Endpoint Management with Easy Onboarding, AI Patching, and Fair Pricing"
5/5
What do you like best about Automox?

This is one of the tools on the market that comes with multiple feature sets, such as endpoint management software, patching, and vulnerability management. It also includes security features like SSO, MFA, password-breach checks, and support for audit trails.

I also like the simple onboarding process. The tool uses lightweight agents that can be installed easily, regardless of the endpoint’s location.

Its new inbuilt AI feature helps patch machines and generate reports that I had to do manually a few months back.

Pricing is pretty reasonable as well. You’re charged per device, and the support team is available 24/7 to help with any critical issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automox?

I personally feel that the Security feature could be used more widely as current security features are pretty much limited like threat detection on the endpoints if any or any malware which is discovered. Currently you need extra add on 3rd party tool in order get these security feature but if Automox can get that done that will be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Remote Desktop, Fast Ticket Resolution, and Seamless Domain Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Automox?

The remote desktop capabilities are way better compared to your standard desktop manager. You have more flexibility for example if an end user has multiple monitors you can easily switch monitors with the click of buttons. The support that I'm able to provide to end users has been a huge improvement to performance and the speed that I can close tickets. I like that it seamlessly integrates into our domain. The pricing is very competitive for what you get. Customer services has also been a huge help especially when we were onboarded, if we have any questions the AI is also a huge help in order to provide any assistance that we may need without further escalations in customer support. What do you dislike about Automox?

We have found that the software interferes with some of our programs for example our "Deep Freeze" program we had to search in depth through the settings in order for our computers not get stuck in a endless loop, before that we didn't know that it was automox that was making these act this way. The UI/UX is both simple but at the same time since automox provides multiple fields of information it can make things a little harder to look at , at first glance. "Automox Makes Endpoint Patching and Policy Management Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Automox?

Automox being one of the most helpful and easy to use tool for your endpoint management and endpoint automation platform which helps you to patch and update and even find 3rd party vulnerabilities on your platform.

The UI is quite streamlined where you can create policy based on location, department and even region and patch your endpoint just by installing Automox agent on endpoint.

I like the different features tool set which comes with Automox like software configuration, endpoint asset management and even reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automox?

I dislike the security offerings which is limited with Automox because Automox security offering is more of remediation security rather than actual threat detection.

I am using endpoint management platform so I would expect the basic security features like at least malware detection but not possible in Automox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automox Makes Endpoint Patching Simple with Powerful Built-In Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about Automox?

What I like about Automox is the key ability of Automox to make endpoint patching easier for the IT team. The platform is simple to manage and you get a good view of your endpoints and assets along with their patch status. I also like the built-in automation which reduces our manual efforts and helps to patch the schedules instead of our IT team manually handling them. I think the value is good for what we are paying right now. Automox saves our team quite a bit of time, especially with patching and routine endpoint management. Reduction in manual work makes the cost worthwhile for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automox?

There is definitely an area where Automox can improve and this is reporting and customization, although we have the standard report but sometimes we need more flexible reporting like how to present information in those reports for stakeholders and key decision makers. "Effortless Agent-Based Patching Across Mac and Windows—Even Off-Network"
5/5
What do you like best about Automox?

Best thing I like about Automox is agent based so you deploy these light weight agent on endpoint and it start working, your devices is not necessary to be in office or company Network to patch or update the endpoints. Also we work with both Mac and Windows so it works great on those platform making it easier to manage. With Automox what I have learn is just set up the patch policies and set up the schedule and it will execute so no manual hand on keyboard or eye on glass monitoring is required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automox?

We are fast growing company and employees count is increasing and so does our cost because Automox is charged based on per endpoint so this caused increases in our monthly cost which we were not aware of until we received invoice. Also if the endpoint is removed or replaced, you need to make sure you unregister the Automox agent from that particular endpoint else you will be charged for that as well. "Automox Makes Cross-Platform Patch Management Effortless from One Portal"
5/5
What do you like best about Automox?

Its cloud based patch management system across windows, MacOs and Linux system fleets and best part is all of them can be manage by single portal. we can easily schedule our automated patches and 3rd party softare updates without even logging to these endpoints which saves hours of work if we have to manually do that. Software configuration features to install or update any new software and powerful worklet scripting are some of the other best part of Automox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automox?

Worklets can be complex if you are unfamiliar with the scripting, although more than 500+ worklets are provided but in case if there are any new software which do not have worklet then you have perform scripting and can be complex for some 3rd party apps. I would say reporting options are fairly basic and even upates from 3rd party apps can take some time to show in the Automox console. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automox Worklets and Cross-Platform Patching Made Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Automox?

Automox is more likely a Patching and configuration management tool which we generally use for patching our servers and endpoints but one think which I really like about them is their worklets capabilities which helps you to create and write custom scripts.

Other thing which I like about them is their cross platform support like windows MacOS and even Linux which help you to easily deploy their light weight agent and then sync the endpoint on management console which is SaaS based. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automox?

What I don't like about them is unable to manage the Automox using mobile phone so they have limited capabilities, I have seen this feature in Intune but in Automox this is not available.

Apart from that there are still small hiccups like if there any app which are not supported you would have to spend time with Worklets to write custom scripting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifying Cybersecurity and Endpoint Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Automox?

The best thing about Automox is its ability to eliminate security blind spots with zero infrastructure. It is an impeccable tool for the current hybrid environment: it updates servers and laptops wherever they are. But its true value lies in the response speed: real-time visibility of endpoints, automatic deployment of patches for third-party applications, and the flexibility of its scripts (Worklets) allow security gaps to be closed in hours instead of weeks, completely relieving the workload of the IT team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automox?

Although the tool is excellent for automation, I believe the area where Automox could improve is in the depth and customization of the native reports. Sometimes, when you need to present very detailed or executive reports to management about the compliance status, the visual options fall a bit short and you have to export data. If they improved the integrated report dashboards to make them more visual and customizable, the tool would be perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Patching and Clear Vulnerability Reporting with Automox"
5/5
What do you like best about Automox?

I like its strealimned feature of patching the system and providing us the report around vulnerabilities and buisness softwares. The report is quite easy to understand and take any business decision for the compliance aspect.

Automox comes with wide variety of features like software configuration on multiple machines at the same time along with easy deploymengt of the agents which are light weight agent consuming very low resources and computation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automox?

Automox as a software is too good but I would like to talk about the future aspet which I think are missing from Automox like security can be better as agents are already installed which can scan your computer resources and check for any malware of any kind of trojans. Also Automox can be used as an agents to prvide the performance counter about your workstation or servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automox Streamlines Endpoint Management with Best-in-Class Patch & Vulnerability Control"
5/5
What do you like best about Automox?

Automox make it easy for your IT admin to manage and perform admin tasks on your endpoints so that the IT tasks can be streamlined along with monitoring of your IT assets and resources.

Automox features best in industry standards with patch and vulnerability management solution along with system state and software configurations. Easy to use along with managing IT resources and failure systems are easy to manage and control from one single centralized locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Automox?

I personally believe that when it comes to providing access to internal IT team that could have been more streamlined by which I mean I am referring to granular roles and permission and then we can wrap permissions around groups to make it more granular. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
