If it is down like recently can affect your business. **Recommendations to others considering Auth0:** Auth0 is perfect for taking care of your users. Support is also fantastic and will happily guide you through anything you just don’t quite understand. **What do you dislike about Auth0?** When we were looking for an authorization solution, we found it frustrating that Auth0 didn’t disclose pricing upfront. It seemed a bit shady. Transparency is important, and Auth0 lacks transparency with regards to their pricing. **Recommendations to others considering Auth0:** Please make sure to be more transparent with potential consumers. **What problems is Auth0 solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking for an authorization solution, and Auth0 looked like a great choice. We definitely learned some with regards to passwords and login info, and found ourselves with more security for our customers. ### 19. Auth0's documentation is clearer and better than Cognito and they appear to have multiple levels of service... from API's to hosted custom login pages, etc. Also, I find Auth0's commitment to following best practices and security standards comforting. **What problems is Auth0 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Auth as a service as well as attempting to follow best practices regarding authorizing users and security. I ended up finding a good solution to use Auth::user() but the tutorial for that implied that it should have connected automatically by itself. **What problems is Auth0 solving and how is that benefiting you?** We wanted to use a consolidated Authentication Module so that we could reuse user accounts across multiple systems for Single Sign On. ### 26. We had to migrate existing users to the new platform and we took advantage of the password -less login **What do you dislike about Auth0?** The UI is pretty unchangeable. It would be nice to change the styling without overriding CSS (not recommended). **What problems is Auth0 solving and how is that benefiting you?** We tried all sorts of solutions including custom built (aka copy pasting stuff) and other plugins/services. Auth0 was one of the few services with a host of tools from authentication to social login to CRM integration. This meant a lot less time spent on using/creating a solution for each part and instead using auth0 to solve all the issues.
