**What do you like best about Dopple?**

Two things stand out: the product and the people. Dopple’s interface is clean, intuitive, and quick to learn; our team was productive within days. Implementation was smooth with clear guidance, sensible defaults, and documentation that anticipates real-world questions. Customer support is exceptional. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and collaborative. The platform’s feature set is robust without feeling bloated, and integrations fit neatly into our existing stack with minimal lift. Performance has been reliable, and releases arrive thoughtfully, not disruptively. We use Dopple daily across marketing, merchandising, and engineering, and it consistently removes friction rather than adding it, which is exactly what you want from a strategic partner.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

Can't think of anything here. Our experience (from implementation and integration to day-to-day use) has been smooth and reliable. The interface is intuitive, support is responsive, and the feature set balances depth with usability. If anything, we simply look forward to more of the same thoughtful enhancements over time.

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dopple reduces the friction of selling complex, configurable products online. Static photos and spec sheets slow decisions and lead to avoidable returns. With 3D and AR visualization plus guided configuration, shoppers explore options, compare finishes, and buy with confidence. Implementation was straightforward, integrations were light lift, and the interface lets non technical teams publish updates quickly. The analytics show which configurations, features, and AR views drive engagement, which guides merchandising and content choices. We also reuse 3D assets across channels, which cuts production time and costs. The impact is clear: faster decisions, higher conversion, fewer returns, and fewer support tickets.

**What do you like best about Dopple?**

As an SI and user, I have intimate knowledge of different 3D product experiences, how they are implemented, and many of the features and limitations. Dopple is without a doubt a front running solution with incredible flexibility, ease of use, and AR functionality.

Many other solutions appear "cartoon-ish" with their modeling, or simply lack precision and granular accuracy with their modeling. OR, the solutions are good to manage from a technical standpoint, but present a terrible customer experience as it relates to enterprise-level expectation of user journey and frictionless conversion.

Dopple wins on all fronts. Fantastic implementation, beautiful customer journey, and an overall experience rich with features that makes you sit back and think, "WOW."

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

The development of this solution is so good that it's tough to find any major red flags. I think you just need to have realistic expectations around initial implementation, and providing Dopple with the proper data needed to make the modeling come to life. 

This isn't some cheap "one click and AI does the rest" type of app or plugin. It's a serious enterprise quality solution that leverages mature modeling practices, and the quality of inputs will greatly influence the quality of outputs.

Dopple creates differentiated 3D product experiences for eCommerce customers, allowing them to configure their own products, get lost in a delightful journey of "choose your own adventure," and then see their creation come to life with great precision and accuracy.

The initial integration took some time, but the new Wordpress plugin makes it much more fluid.

I haI've had the pleasure of working with XTECH Pads for a few years now. In December 2022, the task at hand was building a new e-commerce website with a new 3D product customizer. After vetting several possible configuration options and speaking with numerous product representatives, we decided to go with Dopple and have been happy with the decision ever since. XTECH Pads are a very unique product with unique measurements and many customizable variations. We needed to partner with a team that could use existing digital assets to replicate the pad building and customization process in a completely immersive 3D environment, and Dopple delivered. 

We launched the new site and 3D builder in May 2024, and since then, sales have been consistent, engagement and average sales have increased, and cart abandonment has dropped, all of which were core objectives of the project. ve had the pleasure of working with XTECH Pads for a few years now, and in Dec of 2022, the task at hand was building a new ecommerce website, with a new, 3D, product customizer.

3D rendering quality, Shopify integration and ease of implementation and customizability for the user experience. Their team and customer support is always timely, very helpful and the overall ease of App use is very nice!

I do not have any downsides for this. We were able to meet our goals and successfully deliver an unparallelled product configuration experience for customers.

Providing e-commerce shoppers an online experience that allows them to see the details and really grasp the quality of the premium products they're customizing. This increases engagement and conversions boosting the bottom line like never before!

Dopple team is very knowledgeable about their product and how the interface will work for us. In addition to knowing their own product, they have become very knowledgable about our products and how it configures together - which is a huge undertaking with the number of parts we have! 

Dopple's customer support and project management worked in tandom with our website company.  Both organizations were complimentary of each other and the work they produced, making the ease of implementation and integration seamless and painless.

Really an outstanding product - our customers were amazed at the technology and ease of use. Cannot wait to build this out further!

Working with Dopple on our new configurator, especially their dev and design team, was awesome. They are a very collaberative team and have given us a great way to show our product. Our customers and dealers have all commented about our visual elements on shopify and how they love it. And we do too! Can't say enough about how great it was working with their team to develop our new configurator and the support after we finished the initial setup.

We haven't had any issues with Dopple since getting started that they haven't immediately helped us solve.

**What do you like best about Dopple?**

I was incredibly impressed with Dopple's 3D team and how talented they are at modeling and understanding our products. I've been in AR for 10 years and researched every tool on the market and I chose Dopple. Dopple was more cost-effective than the others, and still offered an amazing solution for WebAR. I look forward to adding more WebAR products to our website with Dopple.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

The only downside is the amount of development work on the web side to implement the solution. I would like to see a "templated" solution that would allow us to launch WebAR quickly without much coding/development on the front end.

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dopple is combining two solutions, web visualizer/configurator and WebAR, and they are doing it at a cost that isn't a barrier to entry into WebAR. The industry needs this as AR/VR is still new to the business world. We need to lower the barrier to entry and allow businesses to test WebAR solutions. Dopple has done a good job of positioning itself to fit that need.

**What do you like best about Dopple?**

The ATLATL software is allowing us to show a range of possibilities with our custom pergolas to our customers. The artwork they developed came out exact as the real life product and is so stunning. With the tool we can use it on-site as customers homes or properties and in the digital world with our social media profiles so we have lots of ways to use it.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

The purpose we signed up for the ATLATL software was to be able to show the 'rendered' version of the product on a photo of a customer's home. While we can show it with AR we're not able to do it with just an image of the home. It would be awesome if we could upload a picture into the visualizer and scale our pergola on top of the image to bring it full circle.

We are now able to show different customizations with our pergolas from its basic functionalities to additional closures and construction views as well.

ATLATL provided not only a CPQ system, but integrated it with our ERP and extended the capability out to our dealer network - all in one product. We have also sincerely appreciated the ATLATL staff.  During the entire implementation process, they were with us every step of the way. They also make adjustments and mid-course corrections very well.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

Everything works, so there really is nothing to dislike. Prior to selecting ATLATL, we may have thought there would be more direct input into the system. But so far, ATLATL has handled all of that very quickly.

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to selecting ATLATL, our old system covered 17 unrelated/disconnected systems. ATLATL software allowed us to replace all of those old systems with just their CPQ, thereby allowing critical manpower to be re-directed where it can better help our company grow. We now have a system that works from initial inquiry, through configuration, quote, and ultimately through the ordering process to product build.  Most importantly, we now have just two major systems; the ATLATL CPQ and our ERP. Before ATLATL, several manpower intensive work-arounds were required to process orders. Now we are able to seamlessly accept orders from our dealers without any transposition required as they simply move intact directly into our ERP system.  This has essentially eliminated build errors due to incorrect order processing.

understanding the rules in the beginning of the process of creating the software, I believe we where miss lead on how the software was supposed to have been created. the beginning we understood sage , would have been okay to use, as it was not we had to up grade, but we had to redo this process. Understanding that we were the ones that had to create the rules, and excel spread sheets to make the software work.   but it all worked out!!

Our customers, and targeted customers could easily understand the functionality the program offered.    From customizing the dimensions of their deck, to easily changing out our various deck railing styles, that flexibility was fantastic.   And having all the product attributes accounted for in the back end, made the result the customers were able to see ideal.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

the need to carefully click and drag to modify the shape and dimension of the decking itself was sometimes challenging.     for the  novice who first interacted with our app, this was sometimes an issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Dopple:**

ATLATL helped build us a custom use program to allow us to better connect with prospective consumers looking to build new decks and rails.    and what was great was the feature the ATLATL folks build for us which was the importing of our 3D files so a consumer AND contractor could generate an image of their proposed installation.  To scale. and complete with accurate sku/bill of material listing.  making the process to quote the project (and ultimately order materials) a breeze.   their taking time to understand our products and business was great.

The software has allowed us to market to consumers so they can easily see a representation of what their deck might look like, and the ability to generate a bill of materials to provide to a contractor was a great benefit

Atlatl  offers options which are helpful quoting Velox quick ship.  Configuration is valuable to show the customer how the layout can be revised.

nothing really...only the speed (might be on our end)

Being able to quote size up and size down helps to quote the customer  our stock sizes which provides faster lead time and less price.

Our product is somewhat hard to understand from a programming view, but the team at ATLATL is always willing to work with us and help make each configuration better.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

I haven't really found anything major that I dislike. When I do find something small, it is quickly resolved by the ATLATL team.

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ATLATL has saved our company so much time with the configurator. What can take 45 minutes to an hour to do in CAD we can easily finish in 10-15 minutes.

Atlatl is very easy to work with.  Their staff makes themselves available to us whenever we need them.  They do a good job of interpreting our business to provide us the service that we need.  The design cadence is very quick.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

There are a few key individuals that make the company.  They are new and growing and hopefully can keep growing the experienced workforce.  They are still a small company.  I am not the biggest fan of the payment plan.  The one we worked out seemed to complicated.

**Recommendations to others considering Dopple:**

Get ready to work, they move fast and you need to have resources on your side ready to go in order to get the most out of it.

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The visual configurator is extremely helpful in reducing time to get a configuration quote out to our customers.  A process that used to take 5 days to now can be done in only an hour.  On top of that the configuration is already designed with the engineering rules saving engineering time on the front end of quotes and projects.

**What do you like best about Dopple?**

The thing i like best about Atlatl is definitely the Visual CPQ configurator and how this information spills over into a quote very easily without any additional work for me. I also love that the drawing is completed for me and labeled. This makes for a very professional quote and drawing in a shorter amount of time. 

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

I did not like that i had to wait for updates to the configurator along the way. But like all software there are always updates to come in the future. I am anxious to see what the future holds. 

**Recommendations to others considering Dopple:**

My advice would be to keep an open mind when using this software. Many people have different opinions about tools like this and you really need to get familiar with the software to truly value what Atlatl Qutebooks has to offer. 

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are cutting out a lot of time  by being able to track our sales for our product right on the front screen in Quotebooks. This program is also providing us with a detailed quote and drawing in a much shorter time frame than with drawing a layout in CAD and then quoting in a separate system.

**What do you like best about Dopple?**

Works on multiple platforms and web browsers.  ATLATL team has always been very responsive to our change requests and have in-depth knowledge of our products.  Good looking visualizer with unique capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

Our products are quite complex and require in-depth knowledge for changes in our product lines.  In order to keep the visualizer and generated bill of materials up-to-date, takes a lot of work an collaboration with ATLATL's team.

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives our customers the ability to design a custom deck size and see all of our product lines built onto that deck, selecting custom options and generating a true bill of materials in the end.

The mobility. Finally having my product line and pricing on the go has increased my ability to quote and respond in a whole new way!

There is not really much to dislike here. I am only involved in the user level of this software and I can say from a end-user standpoint it is perfect. Granted this is the first software I have encountered that does these sort of things but I love it! If I had to think of something bad I would say that sometimes my phone does not have great service which means I lose access to this, would love an offline version.

Mobile quoting. As a member of my companies sales team I am usually always on the road. In the past I have had to call back to the home office to get pricing or look through a long printed out sheet. This product lets me look up pricing on the go and present my customers with a professional looking quote anywhere.

I really like the ease of use and how it allows you to customize any part number and pricing without a lot of effort.  So may ways to use this and keep track of the sales in the pipeline. **What do you like best about Dopple?**

I like how easy it is to email or print out a quote for a customer. Everything includes pictures and descriptions of our product so there is no confusion on what we are offering, what the customer needs, and what they will receive. The ability to track quotes in the system and easily access them has saved our internal and external sales teams hours of unnecessary emails and phone calls. 

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

The only thing I would say is a bit cumbersome is bulk updating pricing across our inventory. This isn't an issue with just quote books though and is something we encounter with most of the systems we have used.  

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to make it easier for our salesmen to generate quotes easily and quickly in the field. This has been realized with the use of this software. Our salesmen are quoting more often and more often these quotes are turning into sales. It is also very easy to see the timeline on these quotes and follow up as needed to ensure they become sales.

Atlatl Quote Books simulations software  brings  life to the sales and proposal process .  It enables you to sales consult by involving customer representative(s)  in designing solutions for them.     The ability to provide alternative solution generations and submission of proposals/quotations in minutes to hours versus days or weeks !!!    

SPEED and VISUALIZATION simply SELLS .  Thus,  sales throughput is enhanced exponentially relative to traditional proposal processes.

Too many revisions during the period of my experience.   I appreciate desire to enhance systems capabilities,  however, too many changes stifles learning curves and given reason to resist acceptance.

Quotebooks has some of the best reporting and analytics out of all the CRMs. We used sales force and Hubspot, but couldn’t clearly see what was going on and it made it had to make key decisions.. the dashboard and the reports exceeded our expectations and is now a critical component to our daily process. I can now predict revenue and it’s clearly present for all my teams to use and see. Great job Atlatl.

I appreciate the ability to create a nice looking proposal and have a record of all my quoting activity and the activity of my team.  The workflow is good for the most part, and the final product is very nice and clean.  Most of the menus are well thought out in terms of user interface, and some features are outstanding, such as the auto-fill option when creating a company, and the maps feature is incredible.  I also appreciated the new configurations page and the ability to see the bill of materials for that configuration.  

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

It's generally understood that no software application is completely bug-free, and this is no exception, but over the years, it seems that more care is being taken to reduce the number of bugs per release.  

**Recommendations to others considering Dopple:**

Overall, the system is very good at quoting and providing general overview information and limited insight to upper and mid-level management of the activities of the sales force.  Suggest

Your QuoteBooks admin can leverage our user access/permission functionality to grant visibility into your team’s quotes. We avoid making assumptions about user access to data,  so access is left up to you and your team.

Inability to DELETE quotes that have expired.
This is another feature that your QuoteBooks Admin can address with roles/permissions. We’re happy to hop on a call to help!

Incorrect quantities provided in quote.
Would you mind sharing more information with us about this? This is not how QuoteBooks typically functions and we would like to investigate.

Editing the quote layout - Changes do not transfer to the "Customer Facing Quote" page, causing confusion and lack of confidence in the program.
If you have ‘Edit Quote Layout’ enabled, you can use the editor tool edit your quote at any time. These changes will apply to the customer facing quote.

Product costing should be shown in a hidden page to allow verification of cost prior to quoting and margin changes.
Your QuoteBooks admin can control cost visibility. Please have them contact our Customer Success team if they have any questions.

There is no exchange rate provided for Canadian companies.
Multi-currency support is on our roadmap! Because exchange rates are constantly changing and our customer base is international, we are working hard to deploy the best solution for all our users. Sign up for our newsletter and keep an eye on our product updates page.

Drawings do not always show up on the quote.

Standard equipment from the Configurator are not quotable.
Pricing changes on standard equipment but no changes to the actual equipment in the quotation.
Both these challenges you raise could be due to setting at the client level. If you can provide some additional information, we’d be happy to walk you through it.

**What do you like best about Dopple?**

For the past several years I've been designing the perfect quoting software in my head...come to find out, QuoteBooks is making it a reality.   The concept of seeing all your quotes on a map, with the ability to filter down, is priceless for outside sales reps.  The actual look of the quotes is way ahead of anything else out there....I looked.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

It's still in it's infancy and has a few tweaks to work on, but you don't worry too much because the software is constantly evolving and improving.

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest issue as a company we were working on was quote follow-up.  QuoteBooks makes it seamless and more importantly lets everyone else see what's going on and where each quote stands.

**What do you like best about Dopple?**

Dashboard allows me a quick view of project activity and status. 

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

You can not pull meaningful reports. Example: not able to pull information on quotes produced for a particular customer to volumes, margins, and equipment quoted

Also, There needs to be a way to not allow duplicate companies to be entered into the system. Our system has hundreds of duplicates. This means that quotes and notes are often placed in several different entries making it difficult to find and track information. 

User access to information that was previously assigned to another user is often times unavailable and/or not reassignable. Example: sales rep in one area moves to another area due to region realignment. Historical information can not be accessed due to the system not allowing reassignment. 

**Recommendations to others considering Dopple:**

Pretty good product. Revisions and upgrades made over the years has produced a good product. 

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The mapping feature is helpful when trying to put together a sales trip using the email blast. Helps focus travel and cut down on expenses.

Adding thumbnail pictures and product data sheets really can personalize the quote in an instant.

Quantifying the commercial value of a given territory, and the potential activity there.
This, overlaid with vertical market analysis, feeds critical data for our strategic planning initiatives.

QuoteBooks is very user friendly, easy to build a quote and quick access  to review, revise, and print.

Not being able to get pricing without filling customer info. Would like to have a separate price only work page for price check!

**What do you like best about Dopple?**

I like the ease of use and how it organizes your customer information.  Nice Dashboard feature.  QuoteBooks also provides a very professional and easy to read quote.

**What do you dislike about Dopple?**

Not all of the functions are operational and I wish they were.  Sometimes the program is very slow to run, which is inconvenient.  There is no import/export wizard to transfer data to/from other programs.  I would also like to be able to group certain customers and do an email blast.

**Recommendations to others considering Dopple:**

I use this product every day and would recommend it to anyone that needs a good CRM and quoting system.  

**What problems is Dopple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of using multiple programs to quote and keep track of your customers.  So the benefits I realize are the convenience and eas of use of one program to quote and manage customer relationships.  QuoteBooks also sends out a very professional looking and easy to read quote that customers appreciate.
