AssetOS Reviews & Product Details

Most maintenance teams start on a spreadsheet, and it works, until the person who owns it leaves, an audit asks for evidence nobody kept, or the sheet simply can't keep up with the number of assets. AssetOS is a CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) built for the team making that move. Work orders, preventive maintenance scheduling, an asset register with QR-code tagging, and compliance tracking with audit trails sit in one place, on every plan. When you import from a spreadsheet, AssetOS reads your columns and proposes how each one maps to an AssetOS field, you review and confirm the mapping before anything is created, so migrating existing records doesn't mean starting from zero. The mobile app is offline-first: technicians can open work orders, log parts and labour, and close jobs with no signal, and everything syncs the moment the device reconnects. That matters for field teams working in plant rooms, basements, or sites without reliable coverage. Pricing is built around who actually needs a seat. Operators and requesters, the technicians raising defects and closing work orders, get free, unlimited seats on every paid plan. You only pay for the people doing scheduling, reporting and admin. Paid plans start at $17 per seat per month billed annually, with a free tier for one user and 20 assets. AssetOS integrates with Slack and Microsoft Teams, posting work order alerts into the channels your team already watches, with in-channel actions to acknowledge, assign, or close.
