Feature of this software including linear and non linear modelling capability, integration with spreadsheet work book, and data base like SQL server. **What do you dislike about Aspen PIMS?** Overall Aspen PIMS software is very good and very useful but new users can face some difficulty initially but once learn it very easy to use. **Recommendations to others considering Aspen PIMS:** One should try this software who is looking for good software for optimisation of feedstock and development of a model for optimising feedstock model and supply chain. Very easy to use and one can learn it very easily. and the user interface is very good. **What problems is Aspen PIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I generally use Aspen PIMS for supply chain model development for optimising feed in process plants and find alternative feedstock which increase profit. However after some simulations, it works fine. **Recommendations to others considering Aspen PIMS:** The variety of simulations that can be done in Aspen Pims are large and one should try to explore the software as much as they can. **What problems is Aspen PIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am trying to solve optimization problems and stretching of plants. ### 3. Assay management becomes easy with the fancy visualization tools available. **What do you dislike about Aspen PIMS?** Nothing in particular but should be updated on regular basis to remove bugs **Recommendations to others considering Aspen PIMS:** Easy to use tool for personnel's working in refinery planning and who needs to look after assay management and crude blend optimization on day to day basis. **What problems is Aspen PIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mainly related to planning in petrolem refining feedstock.
