Especially when you consider everything you get with the app. One of the things that we do with Greasebook which I think is great is we pay a small monthly fee for all our shut in wells. That way, for a minimal cost our team can can in and look at all historical production info, pressures and any other important things that we want on shut in wells. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** I can't think of anything. In fact, we've recommended the app to several operators. Ultimately, before pulling the trigger on Greasebook you need to look at your production and look at what you're doing and decide whether it makes sense for your company. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** it seems people who want to use Greasebook are already using. And I've also come across some people that will not use the app, so everyone seems to have a strong opinion on the app. **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had too many different pumpers submitting their data in too many different ways. What I think has helped us is being able to watch the graphs... you can see when there's a drop or something needs to be addressed. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** The biggest challenge is changing the way we've always done things. This is important because we're a small office and now we're not spending nearly as much time with our production reporting which has given us substantial savings in labor. One thing to note is not to get hung up on making the switch to Greasebook. Switching over to Greasebook was my biggest concern. Once you get the conversion made, it's much simpler than it appears. And honestly, if our pumpers can do it anyone can do it. Greasebook got our pumpers up and running in pretty short order, I'm very impressed. ### 8. It's really helpful depending on what we're trying to do. And the ability for all the pumpers to put their notes has been wonderful. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** Nothing. We had one (older) pumper who was too set in his ways to transfer to the app. But every other pumper we have had zero issues making the switch from spreadsheets. **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** We initially pulled the trigger on the Greasebook so we wouldn't have to go to 5 different pumpers (and assemble 5 different spreadsheets...) Essentially, we wanted all our reporting in one area. And now because we have it all in one place, we're able to analyze our production much better. Also, from a perspective of the entire operation, the pumpers seem to really like the app because now they don't have to keep up with a big book. Now, when I ask them a question, they don't have to go track stuff down or go back and flip through old tally books – it's been great for the whole operation. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** Nothing comes to mind. One of the things a lot of people struggle with other production modules is the complexity. With the Greasebook set up process, I didn't have to put out a lot of effort. I simply populated a list and Alex at Greasebook took care of the rest. The implementation process was very easy. **Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:** If you want to ease your operation and create some value in your operation, Greasebook is something they could use to do this. It's super easy to use. **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** What we were looking for from the word 'go' was real-time tracking of production numbers that are a definite upgrade from smudged greasesheets. We're super small (it's me, an admin and a couple of pumpers), so it's made it super convenient for me to have that info at my fingertips. It's also helped us consolidate our production numbers. "too much information" is definitely a thing, and it can slow down the entire operation. With Greasebook, we've struck a great balance between getting the info we need and simplicty. That said, we like the simplicity of the Greasebook. Some of the other programs and apps are SO complicated and have so much info we don't need. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** Out of 10, we give the app a 100 (no, that's not a typo). I've already recommended Greasebook several times. **Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:** Some of the other programs on the market are TMI (Too Much Info). And, although we've got a lot of tech available to us now in the industry, in some components of the business (like reporting) and having done it both ways (complex and simple)– getting back to basics by using simple and effective tools pay out many times over in the long run. **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** The greasebook is priced extremely fairly (they're much more cost-effective than many of the other tools I've worked with...) Also, set up is easy. I believe we've already gotten our investment back because the time and money we had to invest in the app to get started wasn't that big!! Time savings and the fact that everyone from us in the office to the guys in the field (and everyone else in between) has access and their own login. That said, someone in the office doesn't have to ask someone else for data or reports because everyone has acccess to it already! ### 13. When we can stay ahead of a problem, for example if a well is bogged down by paraffin or perhaps stacking out, we can get to the maintenance WAY faster and it doesn't cost me as much. Also, the efficiency of the program. If you're going to try to go about it through the traditional gauge sheets and excel, good luck. Also, there were a lot of issues Excel presented to our operations – things like conflicting files or issues where the pumper would make structural changes to the spreadsheet. The app also makes it very easy for the pumper to provide information like tubing and casing pressure which means they're more willing to report on it now. It's important because it's data we need as an oil & gas operator that we didn't get in the past or that we had to ask from our pumpers which they should provide without question. It helps us to troubleshoot our wells, lets us know what they're doing and how they're performing. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** I give it a 9 bc nothing is perfect. It's affordable. It's simple. It's user friendly. Heck, maybe it is a 10 out of 10. **Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:** Saves a lot of time. If you don't use Greasebook you're gonna deal with Excel reports, email reports, paper reports and having to sift through all that monthly or how ever often you do it. it's so much easier to have everything in one database right there in front of your face, from which you can copy data over, move it, edit it and the like. **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the major problems we solved is knowing if a well has a problem sooner than we previously did. If we had a big problem, our pumpers will always call. However, with the Greasebook if something is off with the production that they either don't notice or don't tell you about, it's so much easier to log in with the greasebook review your daily number and ultimately give your pumper a call if there is a problem. ### 17. When I got done with my route, I was DONE. I didn't have to go home and do another 2 hours of paperwork. I work from dark to dark, and the app saves me 2 hours a day. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** I've used the app as both a contract pumper and production foreman. My wife uses it as a pumper for another local operator. That said, when pumpers go on days off and another contractor takes over, there's no hand-off of books or anything. Each pumper is kept up to date with the activities of all the other pumpers through the app which eliminates all sorts issues in communication. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** it's an awesome app, haven't found anything i don't like **Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:** If they're an independent or small company, this is the perfect application for them. If you have 5 different fields and 5 different contract pumpers, the app will enable you to keep up with everything and everyone – it's just an awesome application. **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** As forman of the company, instead of having to wait until all the pumpers submit their data we can keep track of things in real time. But then I was made aware of their Custom Report Engine, which allows me to create any report given nearly any set of parameters. This is an excellent feature and will be very helpful in our operations. **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to watch our production, especially things like comments from the pumper, and see what the pumper is going through and walk him along the way.... ### 20. The Greasebook team has been quick to implement my suggestions to date. **Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:** Ease of use and especially with field staff not being the most technologically savvy, having the app on both android and ios is so easy to use – our pumpers haven't had any issues using the app, understanding how to use it, or continuing to use it on a daily basis. So, simply getting up and running from a technological learning point of view has been a huge time & cost savings. Also, having the availability for anyone to pull up the app and see what production is doing, rather then going in and having to pull up a spreadsheet, manipulate the data and the spreadsheet to show you what you want, the Greasebook saves you so much time and so many clicks. **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** Now, when a well goes down, an engineer in our office is immediately made aware of it and can dig in... things like why did the well go down? Do we need to repair it? How much will it cost to repair? We make some base level economic assumptions and decisions to get production back on as quickly as possible. ### 21. Our pumper puts it in, and everyone is able to check out production reporting numbers without having to track him down. This is especially important because our data must be submitted in a timely manner to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). Also, are production totals are no longer an 'estimate'... they are now much more accurate than they were before we started using the app. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** We've only been using the app for a month, and everything has been great so far... **Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:** The app gets a 10 for accuracy and timeliness of reporting data. Also, the ease for the pumper is great. He can put it in on his phone right at the well site... he doesn't have to go looking for his paper gauge book. It's been wonderful so far! **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** Accuracy and timeliness more than anything. And, the biggest ROI is communication of our mission to our entire team. Essentially, to be able to throw everything from Greasebook up on the big screen with our pumpers in a production meeting, to see visualize our input changes and what the effect they had on our production, and to communicate cause/effect relationships to our team has been really beneficial. The team no longer questions why we're doing something... they know where we're headed and what we need to do, and precisely what our desired effect is. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** Nothing. I've already told several other operators about the app, and we're acquiring a new field which we'll also be managing with the Greasebook. Also, as a side note: the ability to share this information with our partners and our investors so they can see what we're doing every day, that transparency has stopped a lot of phone calls and needs for meetings which has given us time back. And with that time, we're able to do even more. **Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:** If you want to effectively communicate with your team, everyone from accounting to production reporting to field operations and everything in between... and if you want to have a single source tool, Unless you don't like communication or transparency, this is it! **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've seen a number of benefits, but the biggest benefit to us is the instant recall on our production in our production meetings. In the past, this was a little bit out of site and out of mind. Now, we're able to trend and look back 30, 60, 90 days at the cause and effect relationships of our inputs which enables us to measure improvement OR no change in production, then move on with a new set of inputs in the field. ### 23. And because we're able to capture the data a lot faster, we're also able to make adjustments to our production on the fly. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** I can't think of anything.. it's super easy, a great software. **Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:** To ensure reliability of their field workers and to have their data real time. Customized reports and automated reports for their own staff or for non operated owners are great and are super easy, too. **What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had a spill at one of our locations, and one of the land owners sent us photographs of the issue. With the Greasebook, we're able to go back and not only see when the last time our pumper was out on location but also verify his production numbers. As it turned out, he had no idea about the spill as he was entering random numbers each day into the app and hadn't been out to the site in several weeks. Unfortunately, we had to let him go. However, it it wasn't for the Greasebook and the ability to verify the time stamps of his work and when he said he was there, we would've never known he was simply making up numbers. ### 24. We're a small company and we don't have scada. But being able to check the production immediately, see how much oil is in the stock tank, to see how much production was made overnight and better communications and back and forth with the pumpers have been a big benefit for us. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** There are a lot of things we've asked to add to the app, and Greasebook has knocked these out for us. It seems like a small statement, but we have some people in the field who are working with the app who are not technically savvy. The Greasebook is simple enough that with the smallest amount of instruction, just about anybody could use it. And that's a big advantage, because I've worked with other products that are much more complicated and because of that, they take more training and it's much harder for people to figure out what they're doing wrong. **What do you dislike about GreaseBook?** They don't have a custom report writer. The app needs to be able to make transfers between the two dual product tanks. If Greasebook could solve this issue, it would be a 10/10 and would be one of the best programs out there. We had a nice site that we had developed before jumping on the Greasebook. Now, we're using the two tools in conjunction. That said, by using app we've seen less downtime. In fact, there were a couple instances we which noticed issues THAT DAY and we were able to quickly call the pumper and find out what the issue was. Before the Greasebook, in instances like this a week or two might've gone by before we were able to tend to a problem. However, now by keeping up with the production, we're able to tend to a problem immediately. ### 33.
