From time to time, we run into Android version and API key issues, but AppyPie releases updates ahead of time and helps us push our app updates on schedule. I signed up for AppyPie a few years ago because it looked affordable, but my experience has been the opposite. At every turn I’ve been pushed to pay hundreds more—often just to get what I’d consider basic support - like resubmitting an app after their platform failed a compliance check. Support has been relentless about upcharges and upgrades. On one occasion, a support rep insisted I owed hundreds of dollars for something I had already paid and wouldn’t back down until I dug through my credit card statements and proved it. The pricing appears cheap at first, but in practice you end up paying far more—especially when their platform has a problem and you’re told the “solution” is another paid upgrade.
