I really appreciate Aplos for its simplicity in managing financial tasks, particularly the registers, which makes tracking financial data more efficient. Starting with Aplos was a smooth experience, largely because of the excellent support we received to get us up and running. Additionally, the training modules were very effective in helping us understand how to utilize the software efficiently. Aplos has significantly benefited our organization by providing the ability to add tax calculations easily, which is crucial for our grant tracking, and has been a game changer in that aspect. Furthermore, it has helped us consolidate our customer relations, work groups, and communication channels, streamlining our operations. Being as I went from Quickbooks to Aplos, I was impressed with how easy it was to set things EXACTLY as I needed for the church funds. It didn't take long for me to learn and when I had questions customer support was very quick to respond. That being said, it was also easy for me to just google my question and there were step by step instructions right at my fingertips. I use Aplos for all my accounting, everyday. I went from using four different spreadsheets, to only using Aplos and one Spreadsheet (it isn't necessary to use the extra spreadsheet but it makes me feel better lol). For example I do not pay for check printing, so I still have to write everything by hand, and make sure my check is 100% accurate when I put it in the system. Aplos helps organize donations by providing import templates to use with different payment platforms (Paypal, Stripe, etc.). It features a way to merge duplicate contacts by name and email when donations come in with different spellings. It also features a way to email receipts to donors with one click of a button! APLOS software is specifically designed to support nonprofit organizations. The software is easy to use and very intuitive and APLOS provides you with resources and tools that are also helpful. Well, of course cost is always the part about software that everyone dislikes. The basic system is very affordable, but as you add modules, they do require additional fees.
