It's especially helpful in our ELT pipeline for sending notifications if our Glue jobs fail, which enhances automation and minimizes manual monitoring efforts. Additionally, it improves our visibility, allowing us to quickly identify and address issues. I also appreciate the multiple subscription types, which offer flexible notification options like HTTP, webhook, and API. The scalable messaging handles high event volumes reliably, sending out real-time notifications for faster operational response. The fan-out messaging supports an efficient event architecture and distribution. The basic setup is straightforward, and although configuring different subscription types and integrations involves some back-and-forth, it remains manageable. We are using Amazon Simple Notification for a wide variety of use cases such as budget alerts, and daily snapshot creation notifications, recently used it for a DevOps use case with Codebuild for getting notifications if the build fails, and the most interesting fact about SNS is it super easy-to-use service, which can be integrated with any AWS service easily, and effortlessly get implemented and that is the reason it is frequently used because of these features of it.
