# What is the most accurate IP address geolocation software based on developer reviews?

&lt;p&gt;The most useful accuracy test is against known ground-truth locations across multiple regions and network types. I’d compare city-level hit rate separately for fixed broadband, mobile, VPN, and proxy traffic, since a single overall accuracy number can hide where a provider actually falls short.&lt;/p&gt;
