We needed to switch from an old system that was programmed in archaic coding language. The plan was to upgrade this to a much-needed, new, and improved loan origination and loan servicing application that can meet the needs of our business, such as our ability to collect payments and service customer loans. The main thing was the relationship early on that we built. Jarod corrected a lot with Joe and the team. The discovery team was knowledgeable, and the conversation was very natural. Along with producing the quality of work we needed, we found the people to be easy to do business with. AltSource came in on the high-end pricing, but we were always confident in the team and the relationship.

We signed the deal with AltSource due to the knowledge of the accounting software background, and they were able to demonstrate enough the financial/accounting functions (domain industry). We would not have moved forward if someone on the team didn't have that knowledge.

We manufacture large complicated machines for agriculture. We began working with Alt Source to develop a dealer portal that would streamline all of our processes with our dealers such as equipment registration, warranty claims, recalls, updates, technical support resources and more. We built the application from scratch to match our workflow and business processes. We have experienced rapid growth over the last 5 years. We have grown from having 5 dealers in the Western U.S. to having over 60 dealers on 3 continents. The Dealer portal has proven absolutely essential as our business has grown. What I found most helpful about Alt Source was their ability to guide us through the development process and keep us focused on getting to the desired end goal. From experience with another company we had worked with in the past, when developing custom software tools it is very easy for the project to grow and get bogged by what ifs and let's try this. Alt Source was a great partner in helping us focus on the minimum viable product and documenting all the what ifs for future consideration. We hired AltSource Software to develop and maintain a web platform that helps to coordinate our business in production and processing. This project was started several years ago and we continue to develop upgrades as needed. The initial project development was started with having the AltSource team understand our business and set initial project goals. AltSource rose to the challenge and exceeded our expectations for the project. We now have a web portal that our customers can log in to and view their data live. Our customers around the globe have been extremely happy with our web portal where they can see inventories, processing and current production data. Before the project, our field service operation was a mess of manual processes, emails, and spreadsheets. Request for field workers would come in, tracked on a spreadsheet, then sent to the field where it was managed by a field manager on a spreadsheet. Field workers would enter data into a separate form program (another spreadsheet). Data was then extracted and crunched for payroll. And invoices were manually created in Excel.

AltSource helped us develop a product that would take order requests, help us manage those orders, be able to send all the information automatically to the field managers. The field managers would have access to the information they needed within the system and assign their field workers to the job. When a field worker was assigned a job, the field worker would automatically receive all the information from the system about the job that they needed. The field worker would do their work and complete a daily work report on a mobile tablet in an app that was connected to the system. The report was then reviewed by a manager or supervisor, potentially returned to the field worker for corrections, and then approved. Payroll files are generated out of the system for all the field workers. Invoices are generated within the system, complete with the backup daily work report "proof-of-delivery" attached with the invoice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Professional, deep team that understands business. They have experts in a variety a disciplines (backend, mobile, UI/UX, etc.) And they understand our business-- no need to spell out in painful detail what needs to be done. They will think through the process, inquire about possible edge cases that we didn't consider, possibly even coming up with a better solution.
