What do you like best about Alchemer Survey?

The level of customization is what really sets Alchemer apart. I've been using it since 2018 for market research projects and the flexibility it gives you to build exactly what you need is impressive. The API access and webhook integrations allowed us to connect it with our own tools seamlessly. In fact, the platform was so flexible that we were able to build a voice transcription tool on top of our survey workflows — something we initially developed for internal use to process open-ended responses faster. The customization options with logic, piping, and the ability to integrate with third-party services made all of this possible without having to switch platforms. What do you dislike about Alchemer Survey?

The learning curve for advanced features can be steep at first. Some of the documentation for API integrations could be more detailed — we had to figure out a few things through trial and error. What problems is Alchemer Survey solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Alchemer for collecting qualitative feedback in market research studies. The customization capabilities allowed us to not only run our surveys but also develop a specialized voice capture and transcription workflow. What started as an internal tool became a product we now offer at voicecapture.ai — and none of that would have been possible without Alchemer's open architecture and integration options. Too many of the benefits are at a higher tiered rate. The ability to delete answers from the survey, the ability to send tests to my team, and the ability to brand our survey with our logo are lacking. I like that Alchemer Survey is very accessible and easy to understand quickly. I mainly use the survey creation function, which is essential for my daily work. Additionally, Alchemer University was very helpful in learning how to use the tool, greatly facilitating the initial setup. I also value that the system allows sharing and modifying surveys at any time, and I am able to create reports in PDF and Excel. The language section could be improved; an option for automatic translation to the desired language should be added to allow multiple languages in the same survey without having to import it from outside.
