Aha! Builder is extremely easy to use. Within minutes, I was on my way to building an application. Elle was with me every step of the way. The workflow seemed natural, unlike other AI tools I've used.

Since I fairly new to AI programing tools, Aha! Builder was able to take my ideas and descriptions to build and then make adjustments. The time it saved me was amazing and unexpected. The Aha! support team responded quickly with clear guidance. The performance of Aha! Builder was through and fast. Elle understand what I wanted to build and why. I can easily build applications from prompts, chat, and voice for prototyping and application building. I like the full-stack package, including the design system, configuration, database, and hosting, right from 0 to 1 of the product and beyond. The setup is very easy, with a simple UI/UX. I don’t have AI model selection in Aha! Builder—only Sonnet as of now. It’s kind of an advantage and disadvantage: it can increase token costs, though the quality is also good. To save prompts and regular chats that can cost tokens, I use outside AI tools to refine them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My team and I have built 3 applications with Aha! Builder so far. We have found that Aha! Builder delivered a true end-to-end build and deployment experience—enabling me, as a product leader, and my team to create and launch real applications without relying on engineering or IT.

What stood out most to us was how well it’s designed for product managers and business users. It let me focus on defining and solving the business problem, then guided me through a simple, iterative flow—prototyping, refining, self-testing, and generating user documentation, then when ready, deploying to production. Moving from concept to a usable app was fast and straightforward.

As noted, deployment is a major strength. No IT queues or complex release cycles—just push-button deployment, with Aha! While the overall experience was positive, some areas for improvement include broader technology flexibility and design integration. Support for Java (in addition to Ruby on Rails) would better align with many enterprise environments, and tighter integration with tools like Figma would streamline UI iteration.

Aha! Builder has given us a way to quickly create working prototypes and small web applications that improve our internal processes. We can get a usable application up and running in minutes, then easily add to it or refine it based on user feedback. Elle (the AI assistant) does a great job of offering suggestions on usability, design and features. I can ask Elle in plain text what I want the application or prototype to do, and within minutes Elle has it fully functional within the app or prototype. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I’d like to see an additional “viewer” role available during the preview (unpublished) phase, since it’s helpful to get a second set of eyes on the product before publishing. Right now, it seems the only way to share an unpublished application is with someone who has an “owner” license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was impressed by how intuitive the guided script was for the initial app creation, but the thing I loved the most was how easy it was to interact with and refine the Preview. I found the layout extremely intuitive and was amazed that someone like me, with a relatively low level of software development technical knowledge could design, iterate, debug and ultimately ship to production environment a professional looking application! The only challenge I had was sometimes being able to select the right thing in the Preview mode that I wanted changed. For example, I was not able to just drag and drop a box from one place on the preview to where I wanted it on the screen, so it made it a bit more cumbersome to specifically write out the instruction to the agent to change location, size, style, etc. So if there was an enhanced ability to resize objects or change the formatting of UI elements or move on the Preview it would make this even more usable and powerful to quickly iterate and get to the finished product. Aha! Builder takes a strategy-first approach to AI application development. Instead of simply generating code from a prompt, it helps teams define the vision, goals, personas, requirements, branding, and design standards before creating an application. That makes the output feel more connected to real business needs.

I also appreciate that it is built with enterprise use in mind. Features like centralized governance, privacy and security reviews, authentication options, and feedback collection make it more practical for teams that need structure, oversight, and IT alignment.

The integration with Aha! Roadmaps is another major advantage because it connects product strategy, planning, feedback, and application development in one place. That helps preserve context from the original idea through prototype or application delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Aha! Builder may require meaningful upfront planning before teams can get the full benefit. Defining goals, personas, requirements, design standards, governance policies, and security expectations is valuable, but it can also add setup time for teams that are looking for a very quick, lightweight prototyping experience.

It may also be most effective for organizations that already have mature product management and roadmap practices in place. Teams that are not yet disciplined around strategy, requirements, or governance may need additional guidance to use the platform well.

I like that Aha! Builder focuses on disciplined app building from a product management perspective. I can start with product requirements, and Aha! Builder translates them into a polished app and creates the code needed for it to function. It provides development tooling and an enterprise-ready hosting platform, including controls for authentication, vulnerability reviews, and additional security reviews. It also helps me pull reporting, telemetry, and KPI data together in a polished web app, validate concepts with realistic interactive experiences before committing development resources, and create apps that provide and consume APIs. I sometimes find functionality missing that I asked for. Aha! Builder will scaffold out the app features and then sometimes forget to go back through and build all the underlying business logic to have the feature work. The governance side needs work too, since granting or removing development access to apps is buried in a long list of access controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Builder is super easy to quickly prototype and publish apps live. In a recent Hackathon, we built 5 value add apps in 3 HOURS!!!! Elle rarely gets stuck, checks in when you ask and uses the most optimal model Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a bit of a disconnection between Builder and Roadmaps which could be (and I'm sure will be) improved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
