I don't have to use any of my saved cash reserves, and I can pay for large purchases over time with a set payment is one problem using Affirm solves for me. Another is if I have an emergency expense that caught me off guard. The benefits I've realized is that I have had one of those emergencies, and I was able to pay over time, and when I had enough money to pay it off early, I didn't get penalized for doing so. I have never had a real response. Even as recently as yesterday when I heard back from a week and a half old email. Just telling me that they were looping in the client success team. I have heard that before and nothing ever comes from it. And all I can ever find is the merchant dashboard and I know there are resources there somewhere, but I still don't know where to look. Customers and my sales reps are happy. With our online customers able to check out online with just a click of the button makes for more deals and satisfied customers. Our fee is too high, and since we are doing all the work, only the customer should have a price that would also allow us to do more financing. We should have a better online portal for in-house deals. That would let my salesman run better reports, and also, i would like access to my customer's info after the fact. I've used Affirm multiple times for large purchases that made me feel uneasy paying the full amount up front. Being about to make a few payments on a large purchase made us feel more comfortable with our finances during COVID and I was able to get a new computer for work without having to pay $2000 up front. The ease of finding what you need is a little messy and could be organized better. You can only see a few stores at first, and when you search, it shows you every single store, kind of hard to find what different stores they have unless you know exactly what stores they have.
