It is so easy to find the information you are looking for. The automatic communication templates and attachment of appropriate documents is such a time saver. **What do you dislike about AbsenceSoft?** Integration into an HRIS system is always going to be complex depending on how the HRIS is set up for your company, so that is an inevitable hurdle that consistently moves around as you work through implementation. It can be a challenge to work out the issues and realize what is possible and what is not when integrating AbsenceSoft into your existing system. Thusly, managing expectations among your HR teams and system leaders can be difficult if the outcome is not what they expected. **What problems is AbsenceSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?** AbsenceSoft has helped us process a larger volume of leave cases and ensure more timely responses, creating a better experience for our employees and Leave Administration team members as well. With a small team managing a large volume of work, AbsenceSoft takes a lot of the mundane clerical work out of the process and allows for us to work through cases much more efficiently. ### 2. The platform, though sometimes quirky, is really comprehensive, and its ability to add certification details, work restrictions, and customize the product is super. It's convenient to have case data combined at our fingertips instead of searching through emails, files, or Excel. The customer success manager, Shamus, has been a rockstar, providing support after implementation that has been a gamechanger. **What do you dislike about AbsenceSoft?** The training was intensive - very fast, and though it was recorded and we rewatched sessions, there were things that could have been done differently. We thought we'd have more hands-on training, but it was a fast-paced look at the product. We didn't think we'd need much IT involvement on our end, but we needed a lot of internal support to get up and running with the reporting required to get our employee data to run on a schedule to the AbsenceSoft platform. We currently have our 'Paperwork \'RTW Release Form\' Due' to-do that keeps changing every time we do something with the case, no matter how many times it is updated it keeps changing. **What problems is AbsenceSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?** AbsenceSoft helps by centralizing everything in one place, from notes to documents, and allows me to edit letters as needed while maintaining their use across tasks. ### 6. We had been using a spreadsheet, and wanted a system that would help with that, but still allow us to keep the leaves in house. Also the support we receive from the AbsenceSoft team especially our CSM Stephanie Donkor she's always available and willing to help when needed. **What do you dislike about AbsenceSoft?** With our employer only being in the state of Texas we do not have the same rules, laws, and benefits that other states have, I would like the system to be more customized allowing us to remove certain leave reasons and relationships from ESS that doesn't apply to our company. **What problems is AbsenceSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having AbsenceSoft has eliminated a lot of manual processes.
