Integration into an HRIS system is always going to be complex depending on how the HRIS is set up for your company, so that is an inevitable hurdle that consistently moves around as you work through implementation. It can be a challenge to work out the issues and realize what is possible and what is not when integrating AbsenceSoft into your existing system. I like that AbsenceSoft helps us keep track of our cases and ensures we don't drop the ball on any compliance issues, providing us with as close to an all-in-one solution as possible. The platform, though sometimes quirky, is really comprehensive, and its ability to add certification details, work restrictions, and customize the product is super. It's convenient to have case data combined at our fingertips instead of searching through emails, files, or Excel. The training was intensive - very fast, and though it was recorded and we rewatched sessions, there were things that could have been done differently. We thought we'd have more hands-on training, but it was a fast-paced look at the product. We didn't think we'd need much IT involvement on our end, but we needed a lot of internal support to get up and running with the reporting required to get our employee data to run on a schedule to the AbsenceSoft platform. I find AbsenceSoft incredibly useful for LOA Administration because it allows us to find everything in one place, from notes to documents. I like being able to edit letters when needed while still using them for everything else. Having worked with AbsenceSoft before, the initial setup was relatively easy. Some of our to-do's are not working properly. We currently have our 'Paperwork \'RTW Release Form\' Due' to-do that keeps changing every time we do something with the case, no matter how many times it is updated it keeps changing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that AbsenceSoft is easy to use and is a robust system. I like that AbsenceSoft saves time and ensures compliance with all states program requirements. It provides an ensure uniformity process, which I find really beneficial. With our employer only being in the state of Texas we do not have the same rules, laws, and benefits that other states have, I would like the system to be more customized allowing us to remove certain leave reasons and relationships from ESS that doesn't apply to our company.
