The software is cloud-based, supported with Android and iOS native apps for leave requests, approvals, and tracking. With absence io's online vacation planner, creating vacations is simple and easy. In the integrated calendar, the employee simply selects the appropriate period and sends an electronic absence request to the approver with one click. The manager is notified by e-mail and at the same time learns which other employees will also be absent during this period. In this way, the approver can make his decision on the basis of transparent and up-to-date data and avoid overlaps. Four moduls are provided: Employee Vacation Tracker, Absence Management, Digital Personal Files, and Time Tracking. The whole system is unquestionably secure, with data stored on central servers in Germany. It is user-friendly and easily customizable. ## absence.io Reviews ### 1. Apparently they are working on different kinds of tobics, so maybe that will be possible in the near future. **What problems is absence.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** A lot of time and nerves were saved since we descided to use absence.io at Shore. As an international company with around 200 employees in different countries and time-zones, the absence-management can be super stressfull and confusing from time to time. Waiting for digital document management as a new feature set to be released later this year. **Recommendations to others considering absence.io:** We can recommend absence.io from personal experience as a great tool for all absence management processes, team coordination, and approval processes. **What problems is absence.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're organizing our absence management processes with absence.io. Vacation planning and approval, home office, sick leaves, and other time-off requests are all handled via absence.io instead of multiple excel sheets and email chains.
