WeTravel is the best way to collect money and manage bookings for custom group tours and custom FIT proposals. Why do travel professionals use WeTravel? Lower fees: Most users switch to WeTravel because we allow them to save credit card fees. In addition to collecting credit card payments, we allow organizers to collect funds online directly from a client’s US bank account. WeTravel only charges a 1% processing fee and NO monthly fees (see our pricing here). This way, organizers can save the the hefty credit card fees and immediately boost their bottom line by 2-3% More professional payment collection: Many travel professionals have built an amazing travel brand, but the way they collect payments just does not reflect that great brand. That they offer their own credit card (to pay vendors and save on Stripe’s withdrawal transfer fees) is a huge plus! Design capability is way better than YouLi’. Customer support during onboarding was amazing. Cost is competitive, and they offer a great deal for non-profits. **What do you dislike about WeTravel?** All of a sudden, we received a Denial of Service notice, and our page and account was taken down without any notice nor ability to appeal (or even find out what it was they didn’t like!) This is hugely disappointing, and highly unprofesisonal, especially since we took the time to clarify the nature of our business (couples coaching), which all too often gets lumped into “adult” categories. They were fine during onboarding, and then suddenly shut us off. And, fine, every company has their own policies.. but to not answer any questions nor allow for an appeal? Buyer beware.. **What problems is WeTravel solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps with the entire trip-planning process.. booking, intake forms, choosing rooms, packages and itineraries, and add-ons. ### 3. I also appreciate that the initial setup was very easy for my team. **What do you dislike about WeTravel?** They don't have a template function for registrations. There is an easy workaround, but having templates would be nice. We would like to use Zapier to transfer data, but we can't because Zapier doesn't transfer all data from WeTravel, only select fields. **What problems is WeTravel solving and how is that benefiting you?** WeTravel streamlines collecting payments, traveler information, and signed waivers in one place, helping manage custom trips for our B2B partnerships. ### 4. The platform is user friendly and easy to setup. Images are easy to link with there royalty free images. Attractive designs make high conversions. **What do you dislike about WeTravel?** No International Payment option available for Customer/ Visitors **What problems is WeTravel solving and how is that benefiting you?** It simplifies group tour planning by handling registrations, organization, Payments and fraud booking preventions. Easy to manage booking details and payment related dues which can be triggers with just an click. ### 5. It allows for easy collection of travel funds, a great way to share documents like insuranace or itenaries and allows communcation with everyone on the trip all at once. **What do you dislike about WeTravel?** One of the downsides is the inabilty to make one off payments, several of our users have asked to have the ability to pay some or an installment instead of the full installment. Breaking the payment up over multiple cards for instance. **What problems is WeTravel solving and how is that benefiting you?** For it centralizes all payments, documents, travlers and other data in one spot. With WeTravel you don't have to worry about people sending a check to the wrong address or giving you a CC number....everything is done in the portal by the end user. ### 6. Customer support is non existent - Canceled a Fully Paid For account without any notification **Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Dawn B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2023 **What do you like best about WeTravel?** Not sure, once I entered all of my data including customer records and credit card information, my account was cancelled and they retained all of my client data and information **What do you dislike about WeTravel?** I signed up in early February after using a competitor's tool, I was excited about the possibilities, and once I had paid for the pro plan in full, I I was told of the verification process. I sent over my articles of incorporation and was told that I did not have to send Trip advisor reviews since I am a private tour company (decided on Feb 17). The verification needed was a Statement of Existence - I requested from the state of NC and was informed I was required to file this year's annual report before they could send. On February 23, I told my account executive that resolving would take at least a week or so. In the meantime, I entered my client's credit card and trip information. When I received the documents needed from the state and went to upload, I discovered my account was blocked. I could not retrieve all of the trip data or information entered, causing great embarrassment and issues for my clients and my business. Now, WeTravel has a free option; instead of downgrading my account or placing it on hold until verified, they canceled, blocked my login and never responded to any requests for assistance until I posted a request for help on social media. I shared with clients that we were using this new service, and now I have raised data security issues since they could not use the platform to pay. My account executive called and texted me multiple times when deciding to use the forum. Still, no one thought it necessary to contact me before canceling, blocking my login, and retaining all of my trip and client data. Their response was--"check your junk mail". I did, and nothing was there. This was all done before February 28, less than 5 days after I notified my account executive that I needed time to get the requested documentation. **What problems is WeTravel solving and how is that benefiting you?** It did not benefit me, it caused more problems and eroded confidence by my clients when I never had an issue here before. ### 7.
