It takes less time to load, and its online, so there is no issue with processing and space in pc and it saves me a lot of time to edit anything instead of making it from scratch. ### 2. Last project was creating my logo. Color picker, layers, grouping, page copy, are some of the features I use most. I like the darker interface also. No download limit or design limit that I can see. Option to set custom canvas, multiple export options. Transparent canvas option. **What do you dislike about Vectr?** Editing fonts can be finicky, and I do wish there were more Google fonts available. Icons and shapes selection is poor. Sometimes selecting a particular object can be tricky unless you use the layers menu as items may be stuck behind another layer. This is not Canva so no templates and not the best for drawing. **What problems is Vectr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed a free option to create graphics without a steep learning curve. This did the trick. Initially I used it to save time by duplicating pages and swapping out the images so I could crank out a bundle of graphics quickly, but this was the easiest for me to use creating my logo (minus the text as I wasn't a fan of any of the included ones for that particular project). Sure, Vectr is simple enough for novice users to use, but it can also be leveraged for more advanced designs. It's awesome that we can work with and save vector graphics. Many other online software platforms I've seen only allow rasterized image files like JPEG and PNG. The price for using Vectr and all its features is not too bad. I'm glad we can afford it. **What do you dislike about Vectr?** I'm used to using more advanced graphic design applications like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, so there are many aspects about the tools that fall short of the vast capabilities of those two applications. Vectr works for simple graphic projects or making minor adjustments to existing graphics, but I would find it really hard to perform all of the design processes I need with just Vectr alone. **Recommendations to others considering Vectr:** I think Vectr strikes a good balance between user friendliness, advanced editing features and value for the price. Given that this is free, and I could complete my image embellishment in minutes with results on par with Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape, I'm delighted with Vectr and will continue to use it. **What do you dislike about Vectr?** It's not as robust as Inkscape or Illustrator, but I didn't need it to be. I love how there is also an online tool that allows me to access my files from any computer, PC or OSX. **What do you dislike about Vectr?** The color scheme of the dashboard (dark colors on dark colors with little to no contrast) makes it difficult to see if a field is checked, or where you can edit some settings. It has a nice, handy little pen tool, which is good for everything if you're familiar with using the pen tool in Illustrator or any other Adobe products. **What do you dislike about Vectr?** It doesn't have ANY of the powerful tools that I've come to rely on from Adobe Illustrator, especially the image trace function. It is very limited in size, shape, and even color for the type of illustrations you can do, and you're sometimes better off just finding an existing image rather than trying to hand draw it. The interface was for the most part intuitive and easy to grasp. We even used the tool for collaborative work. Great for planning, flow charts, preliminary brainstorming of branding, marketing, and template layouts. **What do you dislike about Vectr?** The web-based interface was a little buggy, especially with multiple users. They have cleaned this up recently, however it could be more reliable. We had some layers get quirky and ultimately had to start a couple files over from scratch. **What problems is Vectr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Branding, logo design, component templating, card layouts. ### 24. Very simple and straight forward. Has all of the main tools as higher priced design programs. **What do you dislike about Vectr?** Font choice is vast but limited. I did not see a feature that allows the use of system fonts. **Recommendations to others considering Vectr:** Great tool to design a logo quickly.
