I use Ubuntu in my daily work, and I really like it because it is very smooth, even while working with large files during development. As a backend developer, I especially like the terminal. What I dislike about Ubuntu is that some applications are not created for Ubuntu and only work properly on Windows or macOS. Sometimes even small tasks can take longer because I need to use terminal commands and may have to run them multiple times to get the work done. I mostly dislike the lack of software support. Although things are improving, Windows is still far ahead compared to Ubuntu. I wish software like Microsoft Office and Adobe were available on Ubuntu. Also, the overall GUI is something I haven't been able to appreciate much. I wish the overall themes were a bit lighter, livelier, and perhaps a bit more animated, like MacOS. I like that Ubuntu is open source and customizable, which means I can edit the system and add services easily.
