**What do you like best about Suralink?**

This tool supports collaboration between the client team and the audit team. It helps the audit team provide a detailed PBC list to management and maintains an audit trail of what information was requested, when it was requested, and when it was received. That makes it easier to track delays, and when there are team changes, it serves as a repository of information. It also helps with status updates with management by clearly showing what has been provided and what is still pending.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

At times, users run into access issues. Also, when switching between the US and Europe regions, it ends up requiring multiple logins. Aside from that, it’s a great tool and a must-have for organisations that don’t have an internal solution for secure file sharing.

**What problems is Suralink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Secure file sharing and information requests. The restricted user setup is a plus for the BOD and for sharing other important minutes. Status updates are easy to manage, and the report generation tool is excellent. It also supports setting up multiple entities.

**What do you like best about Suralink?**

Being able to track what has and has not been received is the best thing about Suralink. The rollforward options and ability to use templates to set up accounts are very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

One downside to using suralink is that during busier times of the year (tax deadlines, generall) the server cannot handle all of the clients that are sending items in late. Increasing server space around April 15th and October 15th would increase ease of use.

**What problems is Suralink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing documentation received from client. This reduces time that would be used re-sending PBC lists over and over again until everything has been received. Suralink has basically cut time down on audits, increasing profits.

Suralink makes it so easy to provide a list of needed documents and submit those documents. I’ve used it internally and with external auditors and it really streamlines the documentation gathering on any engagement!

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

That you can’t really be a client and a document requester you have to be either or.

**What problems is Suralink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of PBC lists for our tax teams. We used to send extensive tax checklist items to clients and now we use suralink. Same for our auditors, this allows them to more easily retrieve the audit documentation from their clients

I really like how customizable the requests are in Suralink. They’re very easy to create, and I can also build them on the fly if I realize something is missing.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

I’d like to see additional filters available when selecting files to download from the portal. In particular, having a date filter (rather than only a sort option) would be very useful.

**What problems is Suralink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protecting our clients’ data is extremely important to us. We handle confidential information every day, and Suralink helps us safeguard our clients by keeping their data protected.

Suralink collapses the time to request documentation significantly as it combines multiple tools and workarounds into one repeatable process. Much time is lost on engagements when requesting information and Suralink excels at this. It also is very useful when doing component audit work.

Suralink might be overkill for some engagements where the amount of documents, number of collaborators or the type of client are not a fit.

Suralink collapses the request process into a single process instead of multiple, allowing for a streamlined engagement.

I like being able to rollforward prior pbc lists and the ability to track tasks in the software.  I also enjoy the ability to provide files to clinets easily.

There is a learning curve to importing from excel

Suralink provide a platform to allow us to collect large amounts of client forms and other supporting documents in a categorized manner. It benefits us by being able to provide easy access to our clients with detailed listings or requests.

**What do you like best about Suralink?**

Suralink has a user-friendly layout. The best function is the status change button with corresponding colors. This means that auditors and auditees can quickly assess the status of the files provided.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

I wish there was a better screen to display my clients instead of being forced to use the dashboard tab. The recently viewed client list can only show a max of 20, so navigating to a client not recently viewed can be cumbersome.

The new datasnipper tools, preview upload page, and workpaper integrations are phenomenal. All of these tools save time in downloading or clicking back to source documents in the review phase.

It is very easy for both accountants and clients to use. I am able to organize by PBCs in a way my previous platform did not make as simple.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

I really like everything about it. The default setting sends a lot of emails, but I send them to a different folder so they are segregated. Therefore it doesnt bother me too much

It is combining everything about PBCs that I need into one place. Being able to see what clients have provided vs. not, and then being able to accept or decline, leave comments etc make it nice all in one spot

Definitely the ease or organising evidence requests - the fact that multiple requests can be set up and grouped in one place, avoiding the use of emails.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

One improvement would be to allow users to control email notifications sent to clients - sometimes a criticism from clients is the number of reminder emails received, particularly for requests that may relate to others within an assignment (where there are multiple users providing documents).

The speed at which documents are received from clients - ultimately this leads to efficiencies and cost-savings and improves client relations also.

**What do you like best about Suralink?**

I like how Suralink allows for an interactive PBC list where clients can upload large or confidential documents with ease. Everything is very intuitive, and when we have new clients coming into the platform, there's really no learning curve at all. I also appreciate the many features, like the status of requests and assigning tasks, which help streamline our audit engagements. The controller at the client can assign her team to certain requests, making the process smoother. The initial setup was extremely easy, making the transition from our old Document software, which was application-based and lacking in several areas, much easier. I'm very satisfied, as reflected in my high recommendation score.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

Honestly, there is nothing I don't like about Suralink.

Suralink allows for easy client uploads of large or confidential documents with an interactive PBC list. It's intuitive, with no learning curve for new clients, and helps streamline tasks with features like request statuses and task assignments, unlike our previous application-based software.

The color coded system to track the status of various request. The ability to roll forward request list is also very useful. Overall the UI is very intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

At times I have a hard time finding client that I do not access frequently difficult. Seems like there should be a more efficient way to browse through the client listing.

It is a helpful tool to keep my client's on schedule as they can easily visualized what has yet to be provided, or what needs to be updated.

I like being able to request items from clients. I like that I can make categories and export that list for the client so they know exactly what we’re looking for.

Sometimes I think it may be a little more difficult on our clients to use. We use it all the time, but if they are not as tech savvy, it leads to questions.

I don't like that if I want to add another user to our team, I have to send an email to request another license. I wish I could manage that within my account settings by myself for our firm.

The best thing about Suralink is the ease of use for the clients and staff. When setup properly It is a great way to collect client documents safely and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

The only downside to Suralink is that clients often upload documents for other family members or entities to one folder and sorting them can be time consuming. To solve this issue I add folders for any additional family members of entities so the client can access and upload everything needed in one place.

Secure document transfer is a constant concern. We are able to upload documents to the clients, and they are able to upload their documents to us in a secure fashion.

I like using Suralink for obtaining PBC information from clients and for client communication while avoiding email. The direct communication route is something I appreciate. I find it easy to use and it's simple to explain the process to clients. It accepts all document formats, which is quite handy. The setup and accessibility are straightforward, and document submission works well.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

I don't like how easy it is to download everything, which results in multiple identical downloads. Also, the tracking of downloads and notification settings could be improved.

Suralink occasionally faces some technical issues. At times, when a client fulfills a request, the uploaded files don’t always appear correctly, which can be inconvenient. There are also minor glitches here and there, and the platform sometimes goes into maintenance mode, which disrupts ongoing work. While these issues aren’t major, resolving them would make the overall experience much better.

Suralink effectively addresses several challenges faced in financial audits, particularly around client collaboration and document management. Traditionally, exchanging audit evidence and supporting documents through emails or shared drives can be inefficient, disorganized, and prone to version-control issues. Suralink solves this by providing a centralized and secure platform where requests, client responses, and supporting documents are all tracked in real time.

For me as an auditor, Suralink greatly improves efficiency and transparency throughout the audit process. It helps ensure that client-provided documents are organized and easily accessible, reducing the time spent following up on pending requests. The real-time status updates and notifications make it easier to monitor progress, and the audit trail enhances accountability and documentation quality. Overall, it streamlines communication with clients, minimizes confusion, and helps maintain a smoother, more structured audit workflow.

Easy interface on both client and audit team sides. Realtime uploads and comment features are very helpful and efficient. New updates include improved features especially the new AI tool we are testing.

Can only open one instance instead of multiple tabs. Somewhat spotty with issues logging in or bugs.

**What do you like best about Suralink?**

I use Suralink to upload request lists for our clients and to receive documents that our clients have uploaded for audit purposes. It is a secure platform that is easy to use with our clients. I like that it is user-friendly and simple to use as well. It has an easy interface to quickly upload documents, download documents, add requests, and add people to engagements. The initial setup was also very simple.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

The only suggestion for improving Suralink would be the search function. Currently, I have to only use one unique word in our client names or search by the first name only. When I type in a full client name, it does not give me accurate results.

**What problems is Suralink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Suralink for sharing and receiving audit documents securely. It's easy for our clients to use. The interface is user-friendly, allowing quick uploads and engagement management.

**What do you like best about Suralink?**

I use Suralink for sending out request lists to attest clients and I find its real-time capabilities incredibly beneficial. The audit trail feature is invaluable as it helps keep everyone honest, both employees at our firm and clients, and provides insight into where things might have gone wrong. The software’s ability to send periodic email reminders to clients when requested items are not turned in ensures deadlines are met, enhancing overall efficiency. Transitioning from using email and manual tracking to Suralink has significantly improved our time management. Additionally, the initial setup was remarkably easy; adding clients, creating a template in Excel, and importing the original lists was straightforward. I’m genuinely impressed with Suralink, so much so that I would recommend it with a score of 12/10.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

There are quite a few times when I request specific months of statements or files, and in order to update those dates when request lists are rolled forward, they have to be manually updated. This is mostly an inconvenience from a time and workflow standpoint, as it takes additional time to update the request items.

I use Suralink to automate request list management, improving time management by sending reminders and tracking status, which keeps everyone accountable. Initial setup was simple. However, manually updating rolled-forward dates is a little time-consuming.

I find Suralink immensely valuable for organizing my client engagements, as it simplifies client request list management and allows for real-time updates, making it easier for clients to see outstanding tasks. I appreciate how it holds both my team and our clients accountable, ensuring transparency and accountability across the board. The initial setup was very easy, proving how user-friendly the platform is from the outset. Although I haven't yet integrated it with other tools, I am excited by the potential to upgrade and take advantage of its available integrations. Transitioning from using Microsoft Excel for our PBC list to Suralink has been a significant improvement in efficiency and ease of use. I really enjoy the overall experience with Suralink and would enthusiastically recommend it, as reflected by my rating of 10 out of 10.

Suralink solves several key problems in the audit process, most notably around request tracking, document version control, and secure file exchange. Before using Suralink, managing audit PBC (Prepared By Client) lists through email and spreadsheets was time-consuming and prone to errors. Now, with a centralized platform, I can easily track which documents have been received, which are outstanding, and communicate directly within each request.

This has significantly improved our workflow efficiency, reduced follow-up emails, and helped ensure timely delivery of audit evidence. The ability to assign and organize requests by category or priority has also made managing multiple engagements much more streamlined.

Additionally, the initial setup of Suralink was fairly easy, which was a relief since we primarily use it for securing file uploads. It allows me to comfortably handle sensitive information without resorting to email, which could be less secure.

You no longer need to wait for clients in person when dealing with time zone differences. Easier to use and integrate client provided documents with their responses on chat. We can reject and re-request items if we are unsure of that.

In my opinion, the interface of Suralink is not very user-friendly. I feel it could be more refined and intuitive. At the moment, I struggle to navigate between multiple client files efficiently. Additionally, there is no feature to indicate unread responses, which makes it harder to keep track of updates.

We no longer need to wait for client calls or emails to request documents. Instead, we can simply create a request in the Suralink space for the relevant client at any time of day. This allows us to receive responses from the client without having to interact with them directly.

I like that Suralink is not overly complicated, and is very accessible for almost all of our clients who have varying levels of technological experience. It helps keep audit requests in one place, and allows straightforward project management.

Some of our clients have had issues with the Multi-Factor Authentication, and it eventually locks their accounts, which causes hiccups in the process.

It helps our team keep track of all of the requests that we receive for our audits, which makes each audit year after year go much more smoothly. We can see the different reports and documentation that we received in the prior year's audit, and roll those requests forward to the current year audit. This makes our communication with the client much more streamlined.

**What do you like best about Suralink?**

The best thing about Suralink is having all the client dialogue and exchanges of document requests and documents delivered in one place.  Also that it is easy to access and accomodates multiple client users.  Also the ability to download all the documents at once in various file tree structures.  Also the added Secure Send built in allows me to put a link in my emails and provide to anyone to send me files securely (and for me to send them files securely though links).  Also, this secure send is built into Outlook through an Outlook Add-in.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

Only real downside is that it isn't integrated with our existing document management/storage system.  So we have to download and transfer files to our other systems like Smartvault and AdvanceFlow for example.  But Suralink doesn't hold itself out to be a document management/storage system - it's more of a workflow tool.

Having all dialogue and client deliverables in one central place.

Suralink does a great job of making everything neatly organized and easy to understand. If there are any follow-ups, I can directly communicate with the clients using the Suralink site.

Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to add a new client to the portal. That's moreso on the client to gain an understanding of the website. Besides that, no issues!

suralink helps a lot to reduce the time spent during the information-gathering process in an M&A transaction. Its practical download functionalities, practical traceability, dynamic comments and organization help a lot in a process where time is crucial.
In addition, the reports generated by the platform are very useful for facilitating communication.

We face some language barriers with non-native English speakers and I feel there is room for improvement in the way requests are created and updated.

The two-step verification process via Autenticator was also a problem in some cases due to organizational constraints, I would recommend checking other ways to perform the two-step verification.

We are switching after using it for two tax seasons because none of our clients like the platform. It has not improved our work process. NO Mobile Feature!!!!! Clients are all on phones or tablets and get so lost because it is a computer based product, I wish we never signed up for this product.

Interface, overall layout, lack of Firm Branding options. Everything is hard to find for the clients. The notification system is not good.

Suralink is very clean to look at and very user-friendly. It is easy to look at tasks, add tasks/requests, send updates to clients on pending items, comment & upload, etc. All the functions are really simple to learn and easy to carry out. The color-coding system is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Suralink?**

It is nit-picky, but it can get annoying when after a short period of inactivity, Suralink signs you out. And when you sign back in, you have to sign in twice, it can be a bit redundant. Also, Suralink has occasionally been down for maintenance, or you can't login during the workday. That has led to some work slowdowns and clients messaging me that they can't get into Suralink.
