## Scoop Reviews
  ### 1. Positive Overall Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Berta S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Within our company, our primary method for selecting working locations is through the integration with Slack. Previously, we encountered limitations with a third-party app which restricted user capacity. Thus, the core functionality provided by Scoop in this regard is highly appreciated. Its user-friendly interface and intuitive design make it remarkably easy to navigate, and the integration process with Slack was seamless from the outset.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Critically, while Scoop seamlessly integrates with Slack and offers a range of useful features, it's important to note a specific limitation: Google Calendar's working locations cannot be synced with Scoop. While other Google Calendar events can be synced without issue, this discrepancy may pose challenges for users who rely heavily on Google Calendar's working locations for scheduling office days.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scoop enables us to efficiently coordinate space management and allocate office resources. It facilitates effective collaboration and communication among hybrid teams, ensuring seamless connectivity regardless of employees' locations. Additionally, Scoop assists in managing capacity limits, tracking cleaning schedules, and communicating safety protocols to employees, thus promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

  ### 2. Easy to use and affordable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jairo C. | Consultor de Diseño Web, SEO y Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Easy to use, like a Project management topo, but much verter. This can really make a diferente between your life and work.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Personally, the colors of the layout, I prefer basic black backgrounds

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My working/life balance. I have been more productive and had much more free time

  ### 3. Pretty good, but pushy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul B. | Principal Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

It is useful to know when certain people are going in to the office on certain days.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I haven't figured out how to set a consistent schedule. It is also a bit aggressive with notifications I feel. I also don't know that I need whether I am in the office or not to be my slack emoji, but it keeps bugging you until you say yes.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easier to coordinate on which days to go in to the office, which makes going in more worthwhile.

  ### 4. Scoop makes my work commute more flexible

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fanny O. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

The UI is simple and easy to use, it's not overwhelmed to navigate, which is critical when it comes to commute plannig for work. Also the app seems stable enough that I haven't experience issues or app crash yet.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I only use Scoop as rider, but I did observe the Scoop GPS seems shows obvious detours sometimes when there are multiple riders on the same car, which delays the arrival time.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using ride sharing through Scoop I'm able to carpooling with peers, which helps economically also environmentally.

  ### 5. Sometimes intuitive but sometimes confusing and messy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agata B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

I like the overall idea and also the functionalities that Scoop offers such as: inviting coworkers proactively, pools, integration with Calendar

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Even if I really like the offer, I sometimes get confused in what I should do for simply comunicate my next presence at the office (main objective). The chat in slack is confusing and I struggle to understand how to reach the main goal of communicating my next presence. Maybe it's a matter of giving more relevance to the primary actions and then distinguish them from the other options you have.

In general, it's not that straightaway as I thought or as I find other Slack's plugin we use (for example Polly, personalized bots we created, Fellow, ..)

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us in monitoring who is going to the office and organise accordingly

  ### 6. Scoop

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jammie S. | Director of HR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Communication and transparency amoung your team

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I wish the calendar integration aspect was more robust.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps limit the number of platforms and software needed.

  ### 7. Decent

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajesh M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

The stage puts an accentuation on security. Riders and drivers could really look at one another's profiles prior to tolerating a match, and the stage had measures set up to guarantee that everybody had a solid sense of reassurance while utilizing the help.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Not so many options for hybrid and remote work

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safety: The platform put an emphasis on safety. Riders and drivers could check each other's profiles before accepting a match, and the platform had measures in place to ensure that everyone felt secure while using the service.

Environmental Impact: By promoting carpooling, Scoop has the potential to reduce the number of individual cars on the road, which could lead to less traffic and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

  ### 8. Not great

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

It's in a building process but they haven't done more than their competitors

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I don't like the calender it needs to be more robust easy to access

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling but it's not effective enough

  ### 9. My experience using scoop for a hybrid remote role

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

I can tell when my coworkers will be in the office so I can plan my days to go in and people will be there.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

That it takes over my slack status, I use the status to update me team or let them know when I'm unavailable, so I dont like that it sets one for me all day.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I didnt implement the program, but there are about 10 of use that go in to our office voluntarily and it helps us make the most efficient use of that time.

  ### 10. Easy to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

I like the simple design and the easy way to enter attendance. I like the features like creating favorites but I don't use it because my work could in office/remote depending on the day.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I wish I can go back and report the days that I missed or create an alert so i dont forget to enter attendance.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I dont recall having any issues with the app. I felt weird that the app was different android/ios. My manager was instructing for certain features but i didnt have it.

  ### 11. Works well and prompts you to set your in-office and remote days

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

One can see their colleagues who are coming into the office and also can favorite team members.

It allows you setup location of working up to 2 weeks in advance

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Keep prompting about integrating with Google Calendar

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scoop helps my team determine in-person meeting days based on everyone's availability

  ### 12. Great tool, great service, great team behind it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** César P. | Cofundador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

After searching and comparing different tools, Scoop was by far the best choice for gaining visibility and organizing a team in a hybrid attendance plan. Its integrations with Slack and Google Calendar are perfect. We are very happy with the tool. Additionally, Jon Sadow and his team are the best for providing advice and support.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

It would be great to have another layer to know when the staff is taking lunch or outside the office/home office. The rest is great from my personal point of view.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for any tool to gain visibility and organize a team in a hybrid attendance plan. We were also interested in a tool that goes with the others that we use in the company, such as Slack and Google Calendar.

  ### 13. Great Tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

I think Scoop has a very user friendly platform. I find it easy to use and even easier to see where the entire team is going to be in the blink of an eye.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

My only complaint would be that I would get a notification to link my google calendar every few seconds, even after saying I was not interested. The pop up was a little persistent.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scoop is allowing myself and my coworkers to communicate when we will be in the office without having to think so far ahead. We used to use a Google spreadsheet for this info, but it was hard to schedule yourself all at once. I think Scoop makes it easy to share your schedule and much quicker and painless to change if something comes up last minute.

  ### 14. Nice idea but clunkily executed

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Lets me know who else is going to be in the office on a given day

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Slack forms are very slow to fill in. Radio buttons for instead of dropdowns would be faster especially on mobile.
Nags me to sync slack status every single time I fill in my location, which I do not want
In Google Calendar it makes an event every day with my location rather than using Google's built-in "work location" feature
No way to set recurring work locations so I don't need to fill them in every week

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding out when other people are going to be in the office helps me plan my week.

  ### 15. Great experience with Scoop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

In a hybrid work environment, I much appreciate knowing when staff will be in and out of the office. I love the scoop app, so easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

As I have used Scoop now for over a year plus, I really do not have any complaints.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work in a hybrid environment so scoop is so helpful to know when each staff member will be on and out of office.

  ### 16. Easy polls for on-site gatherings

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick B. | Vice President Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Scoop is very easy to use, easy to setup. Members of the team can vote which day suits them best for a day at the office, the results are easy to read and helped us organize some nice office gatherings recently.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Some minor improvements could still be made, e.g. automatic creation of a poll every week, multiple polls for multiple locations. I suggested this to the Scoop team and they promised these features would soon be coming up.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we moved from being an office-compnay to a work-from-home-company, team members still want to meet up every once in a while. Some have a rather regular schedule, others come in irregularly. Sometimes, a team member has the whole office space for themselves, as the team does not know which day he/she will be there. Scoop makes this very transparent and helps to arrange days, where 10-15+ team members will be there at the same time without overhead.

  ### 17. Fabulous Tool That Makes Hybrid Work More Effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Scoop provides a valuable solution to the problem of coordinating hybrid schedules within an organization where managers and teammembers are often switching between being remote or in office. It's already made my process a lot easier and more streamlined when deciding whether it makes sense to commute into the office or if staying home is the best route.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I'd love to see a feature where you could split up your day into Remote/Office. For example, some mornings I work from home, and then head into the office around lunch. Another option would be to combine Remote/OOO or Office/OOO for a one day. An example would be working from an airplane in the morning while traveling, and then OOO that afternoon.

Would also love some other options in addition to Remote, Office, OOO:
- Remote (Travel) -- perhaps indicates that I'll be online and working, but not available for meetings since I'm in transit at an airport.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mentioned this in a previous section, but Scoop provides an easy solution to the problem of coordinating Remote/Office days with colleagues and managers. As a newer employee to a company, it's been vital to understand where my manager is (remote vs. office) so I can make informed decisions about whether or not it's "worth it" to commute to an office. No one wants to come into a (near) empty office!

  ### 18. Overall Good but Scoop user experience in Slack is slightly clunky

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Seeing when my coworkers will be in the office or working remotely within slack.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Use of scoop in slack is not the smoothest/most intuitive though I am new to Scoop.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps team communicate when they expect to work in office or remote. Let's me know what days are good to come into the office to collaborate with coworkers and managers.

  ### 19. My Scoop Review for Google Calendar and Slack

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niels L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

It is easy to use and pretty diverse in functionality. I have used it daily for my status on Slack and Google Calendar.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I dislike that Scoop aggressively puts its own name in its appointments in Google Calendar. Even when I try to delete them, they automaticly return, which clutters my calendar.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowing which colleague is where on daily basis

  ### 20. Very useful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camille B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

I really like the ability to check directly on Scoop to see whether my colleague will be there or not, or to inform my team if I'm on leave. It saves time!

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

It's a shame we can't put that we're at school for the apprenticeships

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To know who will be at the office the next day

  ### 21. Very useful tool for distributed teams.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

I really like Slack plugin that helps me being organized together with my team which is spread across the whole world :)

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I don't have any bad thoughts regarding the product.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily it helps me being organized together with team regarding our working schedules which are quite flexible due to different time zones.

  ### 22. Pros and Cons.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

A great way to see who else is in office.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Difficult to remember to check into work every time you're in office.
If you forget to check in to work one day, you cannot go back and update that day from a later day.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Covid is kinda over, so not very many.

  ### 23. Easy to navitage

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Seeing who is and who isn't in the office - easy access to reach coworkers; fast and efficient, and Huddle option great.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Every day it 'checks in' and a little intrusive

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

fast group discussions - quicker than other platforms (Huddle is great option) and no issues with uploading docs into threads

  ### 24. Great way to plan my office days

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

With a hybrid work environment, being able to see who is working from the office and who is working from home is awesome. With Scoop, it's easy to plan ahead on which days make sense for me to head into the office and which days are better worked from home.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

In my experience, Scoop works best when everyone buys in and uses the Slack and Google extensions. Otherwise, it's less useful. In that way, it's kind of all or nothing if you want to get the most out of the product.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's always a bad feeling when you commute to work only to find that most of the office is working from home that day. Scoop does an excellent job of solving this problem, saving commute time (and my sanity) in the process.

  ### 25. Easy, handy tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

I can change my status in the blink of an eye.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I would also recommend an min time to chose your location and after this period. The update won't be changable without admin knowing. People are changing this last second.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy way to communicate this with the team.

  ### 26. Enhance Slack with cool hybrid-work features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacopo P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

I can easily communicate with my collagues my working-locations plan for the week, without hassling with other external tools. Compared to other similar solutions, Scoop has a free plan with unlimited seats, really appreciated for my "pilot" period :)

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

I haven't been able to sync my locations with Google Calendar yet. Default daily notifications are quite annoying, and it's not super clear how to change\disable them.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It encourages collegaues to share their working plans so we can easily agree on which days we should work from the office.

  ### 27. Location sharing with

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle R. | Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

I like how the scoop intergration saves me time informing my team when I'm in the office and saves them time knowing when I'm in the office.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

The only downside is it limitations with google calendar.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Location sharing with my bosses without sharing my location.

  ### 28. Good in Theory

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

It's nice to set your schedule in advance, helps others know where you will be

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Always forget to check in when I get to work, another thing to check/change when there is a change of plan

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't really have a problem so scoop isn't really benefiting.

  ### 29. Great way to figure out who's coming in this week

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan G. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Our office was struggling with a hybrid setup, as employees occasionally ended up being the only person to come into the office. That made them worry about the same thing happening in the future, and made it more likely they'd just work from home. Then we found Scoop! Scoop makes it easy for people to self-report when they're going into the office, and in a way where other employees can see it. The slack integration is really cool as well, as it's "sticky" so you can see when Slacking people where they are that day.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

No complaints honestly. It's been working great for us!

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps employees know who else is coming into the office each day, and commit to which days they're going into the office ahead of time.

  ### 30. Nice tool - needs more bespoke options

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

Easy way to see who is in and when and integrates well with Slack

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

Not being able to customise it to add an option like 'travelling' as a status

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to see who is in and when

  ### 31. I Love this Program!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendrick T. | Digital Content Manager, Exchange, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

My company American Public Television just started using it and I love it. It's connected to our slack which makes the process of letting people know I'm in the office or not so much easier.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

It's not the most user friendly to those who are not technologically talented

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When people are coming in or out of the office

  ### 32. Perfect to have control of the working attendance.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luisa A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

That I can see who is coming at the office and not, depends on that I can choose if I go or work from home.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

We need to do it weekly. I would like to be able to do it monthly, so I can project more the time in the coming weeks and week by week.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowing is going to the office and who is working from home, because we need to achieve a minimum daily attendance at the office.

  ### 33. Snappy app to get people together in the age of post pandemic remote work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2024

Easy integration into Slack. Easy to see who's going to be in the office

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

The ability to see when other people will be in the office. It is easy to use and bulk enter your days in the office or working remotely.

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

The reference to "At Work" when what is meant is "In the office."

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to see who is in the office on certain days and who is remote.

  ### 35. Amazing service to manage a transition to hybrid work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Scoop?**

"Scoop has streamlined our transition to hybrid work. This intuitive tool makes scheduling, communication, and collaboration easy, whether we're in the office or remote. Data security is a strong point. Scoop is a must-have for increased productivity in a hybrid setting."

**What do you dislike about Scoop?**

The Scoop mobile application could benefit from improvement by simplifying its user interface. Currently, it is somewhat complex to navigate, which can make certain features less accessible for users. By streamlining processes and making navigation more intuitive, it would be even more user-friendly.

**What problems is Scoop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to create a precise schedule. Since COVID and with the growing team, it has been challenging to manage everyone's presence in the office and coordinate meetings. We often couldn't keep track of who is where!

  ### 36. OK, could be better
