There are a ton of features for every need. I especially like the large clear map that comes up so that I can also get an idea of where the route is and make adjustments. Each day, my team of 5 members begins their shifts from home, picking up 6 dogs each. They go on a 1.5-hour off-leash hike with these dogs, drop them off back home after that, at the same time that theypick up another set of dogs for another 1.5-hour hike. Finally, they return the dogs and head back home themselves. This operation, involving all 5 team members, entails approximately 120 stops daily over 8 hours. It demands highly reliable software because efficient routing and accurate scheduling are crucial. This isn't just about preventing financial losses due to inefficiencies; it's also about providing clients with real-time ETA updates—a game-changer for customer satisfaction. We no longer receive constant calls from our almost 400 clients every few minutes asking about our arrival time. Instead, they're often waiting at their homes with their dogs, ready for the hike—resulting in happier clients, saved pickup time, and minimized distractions. Thanks to the flexibility of the system, I've managed to streamline the process by integrating pickup and drop-off times and adding 1.5-hour stops in the middle. Now, I export bookings from SimplyBook, make minor adjustments (like aligning SimplyBook and Routific times), and import them into Routific. The software then optimizes the entire route for our 5-person team, ensuring all dogs are efficiently transported to and from their designated locations and with the correct dog hiker. It's undoubtedly the best decision I've made, especially after struggling with other less effective software solutions. Ah, and the customer support is amazing. ### 12. Previously a days worth of deliveries would take me one working day to manually sort through and try to efficiently plan my drivers routes (combination of local knowledge and using google maps). Routific has more benefits than just being able to plan delivery routes; my business are trialling the benefits of using Routific to plan and schedule window and door installers along with service and maintenance works, which is showing some positive results and producing some cost savings. The team at Routific, including founder Suzanne, have been super supportive and have offered up there time to personally call and discuss my needs, requirements and any additional features I would like to see in the new Routific. I can't recommend Routific enough for it's ease of use, user friendly GUI and ultimately, the cost savings it has already produced for my company. **What do you dislike about Routific?** If there was one thing I would rate down with Routific; it would be that the new Routific reoptimizes routes when new orders are scheduled. This also benefits our customers because they will also get a sms about the delivery time. If the planned time isn't convenient for them, they can still respond to us. We can replan the route. Each dispatch, we need to manage 100+ delivery recipients as well as dozens of drivers. Planning the delivery routes manually would be challenging, but thanks to Routific we are able to create efficient routes very quickly. Inputting driver and stop information is simple, as it can be imported from spreadsheets. In addition, we have used the API features to integrate Routific with our internal spreadsheets and automate our dispatch process even further. Routific also automatically validates address data and highlights possible errors, which is very helpful as our data can sometimes be quite messy. The driver app is also easy to use, and we have received positive feedback from our drivers. The integration with mapping apps helps them navigate their routes, and we are also able to track their delivery success and performance afterwards to identify any areas for improvement. **What do you dislike about Routific?** We haven't run into anything yet. Customer notifications are an excellent feature that helps customers stay updated on their orders without the need to contact us to update them about their orders. We also love the Delivery Tracking Link feature included in the Customer Notifications, as it helps our customers visualize where their order is. Anytime we've had to reach out to Routific for help or suggestions, they’ve always treated us with the utmost respect and provided excellent feedback and service in a very timely manner. Truly one of the best customer service experiences we have ever had. As a developer, I appreciate Routific having APIs to access whenever our company is ready to create its own platform and interconnect it with Routific's when the time is right. Throughout the years, we have tried several different routing services, and Routific has by far been the easiest to set up and use. It gives the most sensible routes and provides an interactive "app" (no downloading) that our volunteers love. As the admin, I appreciate that I can see their route progress and notes at each stop in an organized manner. **What do you dislike about Routific?** I honestly can't think of anything. This is my second year using it, and I didn't have any trouble using the page, but if I did hit a snag, I know they would be super responsive and help me out. **What problems is Routific solving and how is that benefiting you?** We make food deliveries to about 250 people in the community a couple of times a year. We use routific to help make sensible routes for our volunteers. It helps us cut down the time each volunteer has to spend making deliveries and keeps them happy so they're likely to help again when we need them. Fantastic if sending multiples and variances of the same product (standardised meal packs and separated allergens (highlighted in notes) **What do you dislike about Routific?** Not the smartest when routing for clustered stops or by driver's end address, it often sends multiple drivers to same street/building. A system for cycle routes would also be fantastic, but a much larger ask. An paper output by route would be a great system too, the download of all data by run is great but a more visually understandable system would be handy for those working with Adhoc users **What problems is Routific solving and how is that benefiting you?** This system helps us deliver to nearly 700 people per day in need an emergency food provisions; allowing us to create same day/next day/future week systems with mixed delivery profiles as well as collections from partners. ### 24. The best thing about this approach is that the drivers don't have to install an app, they recieve a text with a link to the web app when the planing centre has finished their job, which was perfect inmy particular case where the drivers were volounteers with no experience. It is also worth mentioning how helpful the Routific team was. They (namely Mr. Jian De Joya) offered quckly accessible and in-depth support in adapting their product to my needs (also, completly free of charge). **What do you dislike about Routific?** The thing that I found slightly inconvenient was manually changing the routes generated by the engine. In most cases I would assume that wouldn't be an issue, however for my slightly odd application it was somewhat laboursome, but very much possible. **What problems is Routific solving and how is that benefiting you?** It simplifies the almost impossible task of managing 600+ stops and 50+ drivers all at once. It also, as stated before, enables full two-way optimized communication betweeen all parties. ### 25. Routific always creates the routes of the drivers automatically, so to create a custom route I must first wait for Routific to create his, also every time I move the order of a stop appears a message "re-optimizing," and if there are many changes to make those few seconds of that message accumulate and waste time. 2. If there are some stops nearby and the driver doesn't take long to complete them, the timeline shows the stop as complete but very small and makes it difficult to click on it to show the information of that stop. 3. To change the project I ALWAYS have to go to "all projects" and from there look for the project to enter, I find it a waste of time always to have to do the same step, it would be easier if at the top where they show the date they show a small calendar and when selecting a specific day the project created for that day appears or not. 4. The application for drivers only allows to upload 1 image, this is a small problem; we usually need a photo of the boxes and the invoice separately, at other times, the invoice is 2 to 3 sheets, and there are several photos that we need to upload and it is a limitation to upload only 1 image. 5. Also, you're not able to make any alterations to a previous route after it's been dispatched to the drivers. We were paying almost double the price using our previous route service and didn't even have the same features that we do now with the customer notifications. The benefit is the reduced time the drivers spend in between stops to send messages manually to each client to alert them that they are on the way and once the package is delivered. It enhances safety because it gives drivers less of a reason to stop for too long in potentially dangerous areas or texting while driving. ### 34. So once a user has placed an order it goes into our database. When a deliver shift is soon to happen all the orders for that shift are collected and set to routific with our available drivers at the time. This then provides the necessary routes for the amount of drivers we have and to be able to deliver the customers goods when they have requested the goods to be delivered (clashes dependent). The benefits we have realized is we can automate our whole system much better as the routing is the key link between the drivers and sales, so using the routific API we can automatically route all the sales and push this on to our own drivers apps.
