This features brings a sense of security for both us as parents and the school. This app makes scheduling super easy for the parents. It lets me updatethe pick-up plans on the go where I can either assign a guardian who will be picking up my kid or notifying the school about the after-school activities. This helps in time management for parents and the school and cuts down on the confusion. The real-time notifications enables being in the loop constantly and I really appreciate instant communication. **What do you dislike about PikMyKid?** There are sure a few learning curve, it took me a while to figure out the application and I struggled a little bit with the initial setup. The smooth app experience makes tracking easier and better. I don't have to be concerned about my kid's whereabouts. **What do you dislike about PikMyKid?** the app can be a little glitchy at times which can be frustrating at times considering our concern for our kids. Moreover the support team can be trained in a more better way to cater to the needs of the parents. **What problems is PikMyKid solving and how is that benefiting you?** I always used to be concerned about my kid's pickup and drop from school but pikmykid had solved this problem of mine. The user error with this is high, and students often miss their name being called, resulting in a parking line being severely backed up. With pikmykid, the student names are projected on the board for all to see. **What do you dislike about PikMyKid?** Having to print the car tags is time-consuming, and often parents do not have their car tag with them. **Recommendations to others considering PikMyKid:** If you need an easy, convenient system for student pick up, this is IT. **What problems is PikMyKid solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem pikmykid has solved, is students being able to not only clearly see on the board that their parent is there, but being able to see that their parent is on their way soon. Another huge benefit is being able to verify the parent with the car tag or use of the app. ### 9. I just project PikMyKid on my smart screen board in class, and the students are able to see their name pop up on the screen. They then grab their book bags, and leave. **What do you dislike about PikMyKid?** Every now and then the site crashes or fails to update. It is a simple fix, I just have to refresh my screen. I also wish the layout of the website was a bit cleaner for non administrative users. **Recommendations to others considering PikMyKid:** Be sure to refresh your screen if you haven't noticed any activity for a while. **What problems is PikMyKid solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been having a rough time with dismissal due to the non traditional location of our school campus. We share a four story building with another company. Outside of our building, we don't have a traditional covered side walk like most schools do for drop off and dismissal. So during bad weather, we all got soaked. Thankfully due to PikMyKid, the students are kept safe and dry inside of the building, and are escorted outside one by one during dismissal. ### 10.
