## Ora Reviews
  ### 1. Simple, flexible, and visually clear task management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Ora?**

I really like how visual and intuitive Ora is. The interface is clean and pleasant, and it’s easy to customize it to fit my workflow. Tags, filters, and folders make it simple to organize tasks, and the free plan is surprisingly generous.
Ease of Use: Very easy, intuitive from the start.
Ease of Implementation: Quick setup, no learning curve.
Customer Support: Haven’t used it yet, but the documentation is straightforward.
Frequency of Use: A few times per day.
Number of Features: Enough for personal and team use, though not overloaded.
Ease of Integration: Basic, but sufficient for simple workflows.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

Some advanced features could use more depth, and integration options are limited compared to bigger tools. But overall, nothing major that affects daily use.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started using Ora in our team instead of Jira, and it has been a real game-changer for us. The visual layout makes it super easy to see what’s going on at a glance, and the flexibility to organize tasks into folders and use tags and filters really helps us stay on top of priorities. The interface is clean and pleasant, and we can customize it to fit our workflow perfectly. Being able to filter tasks quickly saves us a lot of time and keeps the whole team aligned. Overall, it makes task management smoother, faster, and much less stressful.

  ### 2. Lots to love for a very low entry price!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philippe C. | Design & Innovation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Ora?**

- It’s fast!
- It’s ridiculously cheap!
- Simultaneous users
- Agenda (replaces Google Calendar tab or Calendar App)
- Multiple Task views
- Time tracking
- Team Chat (it’s still in Beta, though...)
- Many integrations possible

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

- Inconsistent access to data, depending on which views you are using (ex. Home View between Icon and List view)
- Incomplete "Online Presence" feature, which should show where are your teammates
- Time tracking works, but it really needs a dedicated, isolated Time tracking history, accessible with one click. We used Everhour before and having a complete, focused and searchable history is really a time-saving feature
- Although we would love to use the Desktop App all the time, it has more problems than the web app.
- While in Team Chat, we would love if clicking on a notification while in a call opened the link in a different window.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to streamline our work by eliminating as many apps as possible. For example, when we switched to Ora, we stopped using ClickUp, Everhour, our Calendar app, and eventually Discord (when Team Chat gets out of beta).

  ### 3. It's About Time to Get Yourself a Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elba María M. | Small Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Customization and template options. Time tracking and it's so easy to use, is my go-to app when managing all my projects (even the personal ones).

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

Not having a way to do invoices or at least a way to bill for the time tracked or tasks done.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project and time management. It helps with assigning tasks to my team and keeping me on track of things I have to do or follow up. I can also give a custom email to my customers to send documentation and/or feedback related to their projects without having to ask them to log in anywhere. Still, I can also do that (add them to the project as an observer), so they can post directly to the project and see what's being done without back and forth emails if the project really needs that interaction.

  ### 4. Helps managing day-to-day tasks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly R. | Educational Data Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2023

  ### 5. Best project management software in the business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Ora is highly customizable issue tracking is highly available

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

Ora is designed for waterfall methodologies. It needs more third-party integrations.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ora was designed to use Agile methodologies for planning, tracking and managing projects and software development. It is an iterative approach that allows teams to break their tasks into smaller chunks. It also enables employees to adjust quickly and adapt to changes

  ### 6. Great alternative to Asana!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Ora has plenty of features and replaces several apps for me: It's great for personal and team task management and includes time tracking. I can organize my tasks, thoughts and even files and share them within my team or with clients who don't need a paid account. It's made by a small company and therefore is very flexible.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

The native windows App has a few bugs and I don't like to use it but use the web browser version instead. The iOS app doesn't have all the features the web app has. Overall, Ora.pm should be used in a web browser mainly.

Also, the V4 updates broke some features which, as their support told me, were deprecated (but still in the UI). Once I knew that, I had no issues anymore.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ora is a great solution for organizing tasks. It's a very capable project management software with very few downsides. The biggest problem solved is cost: Similar solutions require multiple apps and multiple subscriptions where for Ora I only pay for one solution.

  ### 7. All tools in your hand

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mehmet A. | Kıdemli Yazılım Mimarı, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Ora?**

It is consuming less cpu and energy, works fast. You will spend even less time because the UI/UX is very practical. Almost 6-7 tools bundled with it, you can replace jira, slack, toggle, zoom and more with just one tool.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

Chat is beta now but it's fine. I wish to use meeting and chat server as self hosted for latency.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes project management fast and easy. In build time tracking. In build reporting. Multiple board views. Task scheduling. All in one, so we don't need many tools drains the laptop battery.

  ### 8. The Project Management Software that does it all

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elijah S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Ora?**

I love it's simple UI, advanced features, and perfect combination of features.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

I don't dislike anything though, sometimes the app needs to refreshed once in while in order to sync tasks across devices.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thank you for this awesome product. I've been on a project management app search for almost a year – bouncing off and testing different apps, from basecamp, asana, trello, and to clickup. This one checks everything I need, except maybe docs? hehe. :)

  ### 9. Versatile Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** STEVE S. | Business Development Consultant, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Ora is one of the most versatile project management tools I have ever used. With its "Add ON's" feature you have the flexibility to create a project management system that you customize to your workflow. The best part is that you can change it up per project so each one can have different features and a different way of management depending on your needs. Brilliant!

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

The mobile app is great, but it's still a work in progress, I believe, so not all features work as they do on the desktop/web app. But I know for a fact they are working to improve this.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a way to manage multiple projects for multiple brands simultaneously. After testing MANY project management tools, Ora proved to be the best for this use case.

  ### 10. It's the only thing that's gotten us organized!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda T. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Our team can see what we need to do on any given day/week/month in addition to what other teammates are working on. We can move tasks back and forth from one another and stay in communication about our various tasks/projects. It's been amazing.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

Learning curve - I am not a detail oriented or organized person by nature so it's a challenge for me to even use a project management system. This felt hard but the payoff has been worth it. I still don't really grasp everything after several weeks of using it daily but I am getting there.

**Recommendations to others considering Ora:**

You could sit around trying to get organized over and over again but until you get a system and ops in place from a tool like Ora, you're just going to recreate the wheel and waste time. Get a time management/project management tool and move on.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of organization. Balls being dropped. Projects going undone. Fights on the team because there wasn't clarity on who was doing what, etc. Ora is solving all of that.

  ### 11. A great tool for online team collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Ora?**

The time tracking feature is really well-developed, it is crucial for me to track the work time of my team, Ora makes it really easy to do.
The UI design is really good and eye-catching, the interface is easy to understand, which rarely is the case with task managing software. Everything from deadlines to projects is clearly visible and easy to adjust.
There is a huge variety of existing task types, which is great.
Furthermore, Ora has the option to create online meetings, which is great for remote working.
This software has all the important features that are needed for a successful online working environment.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

The night mode could use a few improvements, it is not visible everywhere, only in the small portion of the interface.
The interface sounds are rather offputting and I recommend turning them off (it should be like so by the default)

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm working on multiple projects within Ora.pm and it's very user friendly if it comes to tracking time for myself and my team.
Also, Ora with its built-in chat feature allows us for internal communication.

  ### 12. Simple and effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole L. | Director of Content, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Ora?**

I love how simple Ora is to use and how effective it is at keeping your business organized.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

I don't currently dislike anything about Ora.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking the progress/status of tasks/projects and keeping the team organized and in the loop.

  ### 13. A great robust tool in affordable price!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hammad M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Ora?**

I've been on the lookout for a tool that is offordable and should be easy to use. Luckily I found Ora. The interface is clean and modern and allows navigation quickly. The speed is really good.

Ora has a robust time tracking and reporting section which very few tools offer. Time tracking is on task to task basis and is such a breeze that once I started using it fully, I realized there is no turning back.

The add-on functionality is also a handy feature. I can simply toggle the things off that I won't be needing in the project such as "pipeline workflow" "task IDS" etc.

Another great feature that Ora offers is the annotation feature which as a designer, I absoluetly need as I need feedback from clients on wireframes and high quality designs. Ora does the job pretty well in that section.

Support is super awesome. I had a couple of fixes needed urgently and Borislav was able to accomodate the request in simply a couple of days. Huge thanks to him for this.

Overall it's a great tool to have, to organize the projects and day to day taks. I wish Ora team great success.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

I don't specifically disklike anything in Ora. But If I talk about how Ora can improve, as of 2021, the new views are needed like builtin calendar view (something that Ora is missing).

As a designer I'd like to see a gallery view to analyse the images that I uploaded with a sneak peak of feedback that I received on those images from clients.

List view needs improvement as well. The only view that I'm using is the Kanban view and Gant chart (timeline) view and I wish to use the list view in full scale as well.

Being a designer side: The form view is also important in collecting various questioner regarding the project.

It'll be good to have a single tool to cover these routine things. Some of the items are in the roadmap and I hope I see them soon in Ora.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ora is helping me in Managing multiple projects and tasks.

  ### 14. Ora Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew H. | Founder, Marketing Coach and Strategist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

  ### 15. Ora vs. Trello and other Kanban type PMs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew H. | Owner, Online Media Consulting and Content Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ora?**

I LOVE how Ora allows you to add "pillars" or "steps"… I'm not quite sure what they're officially called but let's say you're trying to setup an SOP for something that is going to take WAAAAAYYY too many 'Lists.' You need to break it down into pillars. And you can totally do that within a single "board" within Ora. That ONE single feature was what pulled me into using Ora consistently.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

It's still kinda buggy. Just a couple days ago, I was adding notes to one of my 'cards' (I use it as a CRM). I don't know what happened but my notes were gone. This happens too frequently. That's why I'm not giving it a full 10.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have boards set up for tracking relationships (CRM), for keeping track of what software tools my agency has, for outlining and planning my signature course/program, for tracking clients' projects, --- those are the big ones.

I also have an SOP set up, walking through setting up a YouTube account for a client from scratch. That's come in handy because I can always go card by card, step by step and review the screenshots that I've attached to each step.

  ### 16. A perfect project management tool for agile project management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mara W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Ora is really helpful if you're working with sprints. I love that I can put the open tasks into the backlog before starting a new sprint. You can assign tasks, comment in every task, create checklists/due date and easily arrange the tasks.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

What I do not find quite so ideal are the notifications. When a task is commented on, you are not always notified. A review process would also be helpful for the way we work with sprints.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The organization for our project management. We're working in two-week-sprints with individual tasks. Especially since Corona and the remote work started, Ora really helped us to get an overview of our tasks and what we're currently working on.

  ### 17. An affordable,full-featured project management tool that still needs some work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim G. | Director of User Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Ora?**

The pricing was very affordable compared to most other project management systems we looked at. We got a special lifetime pricing when the software was still fairly new.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

There are some things that are a little buggy, especially with time tracking. We also wish that our clients could have more access to the reporting features. Finally, the colors are often so muted that they are difficult to see at times.

**Recommendations to others considering Ora:**

Take note of the various ways Ora can be set up. There are a variety of uses besides a standard Kanban layout.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Ora for website development. It allows all of our team members to have a streamlined process and a way to keep tabs on everything going on, plus it allows our clients to comment on projects, give feedback, and share documents.

  ### 18. Is it possible I'm in love with Ora??

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki S. | Freelance Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Ora?**

I am a company of one at the moment, and was looking for a project management tool that could help me keep track of client work, ongoing projects, etc. I tried free versions of some other products (Trell0, Asana) but none of them captivated me.

Also, although collaboration is great, at this point I am just looking for something to use for my own project management. Ora fits the bill for what I need now, but can also grow with me if I do need to bring in teammates in the future.

My favorite features so far include:
* Time tracking - the ability to easily track by project and by task. And to either enter the time manually, or actually run a time tracking clock. Love it!

*Agenda view - Being able to view open tasks across all projects is very useful. It's exactly what I need.

*Reoccurring tasks - A lot of client work I do is reoccurring weekly or monthly. Being able to set a task to repeat on a schedule is most useful to me.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

I haven't found a lot that I dislike yet. There is one thing that just strikes me as odd. When I create a reoccurring task, it doesn't actually get created until the date I set.

For example... let's say I have a task that I do every Monday, so I create a reoccurring task for every Monday at 8am, and set the due date the same. I complete the task on Monday and mark it completed. In my Agenda view I do not see a future task for the following Monday. I won't actually see this task created until the next Monday.

It's definitely not a deal-breaker, and I'm getting used to it. But other task products I have used with reoccurring tasks have created the new one as soon as I complete the initial one.

**Recommendations to others considering Ora:**

If you've not been satisfied with other project management tools, you should give this a try!

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Already in a short time, I feel Ora has made me more productive. By scheduling out all the tasks I have to do, I can just sit down when it's time to work and get to work. I don't have to waste time figuring out what I'm supposed to be doing, and in what order I should do it.

  ### 19. Great Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayle P. | CFO, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Ora?**

There are a number of included "niceties" that make using Ora very simple and easy. For instance, you are able to setup automated actions for each card either entering or leaving a list, integrated time tracking and just an overall nicely designed layout.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

There isn't much to dislike. The only downside I can think of is I don't think our team is utilizing the software to its fullest extent and that makes things frustrating.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking all of our projects in one central place so that everyone knows what is required of them and what the next steps are.

  ### 20. Ora is the perfect agile project management tool for 2019

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Ora has taken all the best bits that we love about Trello and built upon the shoulders of giants. It's intuitive interface and clean UI makes it the perfect tool to run agile project. It even has templates built in the support agile planning.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

Ora has a lot of excellent options to extend the basic boards but it would benefit from a few video walk through clips.

**Recommendations to others considering Ora:**

Ora is perfect if you want a simple life when it comes to managing sprints, backlogs and milestones

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ora is trying to offer what Trello fails to deliver in the agile world. No need for extra plugins. Everything you need is there, you just need to toggle it on.

  ### 21. Ora Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Farming | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Ora?**

It seems very user friendly. I am using it for a web site project, and so each to do item was set up. So makes it easy for client to supply -- domain, logins, etc. Upload files. I like the reports.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

The welcome project just had me a bit confused. so I added someone to that first instead of my first project. And just getting around -- a bit of learning curve.

**Recommendations to others considering Ora:**

I think it is something that is very useful. Just maybe a bit of training up front.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Web site and other design projects. So a way to keep files and documents organized.

  ### 22. Great project management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakan K. | Doctor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Time tracking is the best option here. It's very easy to use and setup. Agenda view helps to manage the projects

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

Sometimes I am facing a little bit slow, otherwise, all are ok.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its help to organize the team to the companies.

  ### 23. Great PM software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Ora?**

I love the time tracking feature and the ability to easily share projects with my team.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

There was a slightly higher than usual learning curve within the team and sometimes the interface can be slow but other than that we love Ora.

**Recommendations to others considering Ora:**

Ora is a powerful PM tool for all team members but there was a learning curve. Still, if you're looking for great PM software, Ora is worth a look.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team project management software

  ### 24. Ora is the ideal project management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Ora is like Trello or Hacknslash on steroids. This really is the ideal project management tool as a game producer. It’s so easy to organise my projects and keep team members on track using things like the agenda and the sprints tool.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

The plans can get very expensive as your team grows.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had trouble organising our teams. Ora made this so much easier than competitors did.

  ### 25. I'll never understand why Trello is the go-to when something like Ora exists...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas G. | Account Executive, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Ora?**

Ora is actually enjoyable to use. The interface is beautiful, it is incredibly powerful but also can be made very simple. It really just blows Asana and Trello out of the water.

**What do you dislike about Ora?**

It is definitely a work in progress, but the support has been incredible. Every time I suggest a feature to the team it is something they are already working on.

**Recommendations to others considering Ora:**

Just try it! You'll know in the first 2 minutes you made the right choice.

**What problems is Ora solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I always worried when using Trello or Asana that something would slip through the cracks. Ora has an inbox (much more useable than Asana's inbox) that makes sure nothing does.
