I appreciate Nozbe's clean and straightforward task organization system, which perfectly fits my role as Administrative Records Manager at Pinecrest Paper Group. I can build separate project spaces for timber sales document reviews, new hire paperwork processing, and weekly production schedule revisions. Inside each task, I add notes containing direct links to files stored on Egnyte, set custom deadlines and enable reminder alerts. A few months ago, we negotiated a large lumber supply contract with an out-of-state distributor. I split the whole process into sequential tasks for draft review, internal sign-off, and permanent archiving. Having every step clearly laid out stopped me from rushing or skipping any paperwork procedures. I also value how simply I can share selected project lists with our production supervisor. He can leave quick updates about shifting milling timelines, so I immediately know when I need to prepare revised operational records. The interface stays uncluttered and avoids bloated functions our small team never requires. What stands out most is reliable cross-device synchronization. I often walk to our storage warehouse to sort physical contract files. On one occasion, the production supervisor notified me of an unexpected schedule adjustment while I was away from the office. I pulled out my phone, updated task deadlines in Nozbe instantly, and avoided miscommunication with our timber supplier. Without mobile access, that adjustment would have been delayed for hours and risked holding up order confirmation. One obvious downside is the absence of robust task automation. A large portion of my daily work follows fixed cycles: weekly production schedule checks, monthly vendor document follow-ups, and quarterly compliance reviews. All recurring tasks have to be manually recreated each cycle. Last quarter, I spent nearly an entire afternoon rebuilding all archiving tasks for timber sales agreements instead of processing pending records. I also find the filtering options quite rigid. I use labels to sort tasks like vendor follow-up and document archiving, yet stacking multiple labels and date ranges in one view is difficult. When I needed to locate all second-quarter lumber sales archiving tasks, I had to scroll through countless irrelevant entries. The commenting functionality also creates frustrations. All conversation appears in a single thread, and there is no option to pin vital reminders or tag discussion topics. While coordinating revisions for a major timber vendor contract, critical signature deadlines got buried under casual messages, and I almost missed the follow-up timeline. Another big hurdle happened during initial implementation: there was no bulk import tool to migrate tasks from Google Sheets. I had to manually input hundreds of ongoing document workflows line by line, juggling both the old spreadsheet system and Nozbe for weeks to prevent missed deadlines. This method carried significant risks, as there were no automated reminders and task categories were all mixed together. Last year, I relied on spreadsheets to manage documentation for a regional timber supplier audit. Without clear notifications, I overlooked a deadline to prepare compliance records. The last-minute scramble created pressure for our production team and nearly damaged our supplier partnership. Nozbe fixes this core issue by centralizing every document-related task in one location. I create dedicated project groups for sales contracts, production logs and employee paperwork, attach Egnyte file references, and set deadline alerts. When we work on new lumber sales agreements, I can track every stage from draft review to final archiving. Cross-device sync allows me to adjust priorities while moving around our facility, so unexpected production schedule changes do not derail my paperwork timeline. I share relevant task lists with our production supervisor to align on operational deadlines. Nozbe does not replace Egnyte for secure document storage, but it fills the gap in workflow tracking. It is far more intuitive than Slack, even letting you look for tags with command+k! My favorite feature in Nozbe has to be the tags and setting deadlines for tasks to help organize my workflow! I'm sure that I couldn't manage so many IT consultancy projects, publications, and training without Nozbe. Whenever I start a new project, I create it in Nozbe, split it into tasks, and assign it to some days. That's it! Nozbe, do the rest. Nozbe also responds to the problem which every team or project has. Especially for projects which scale from one-man activities to the full-blown team. In this scenario, the tasks are usually kept in emails, chats history, or as a meeting note (if there is any). Nozbe unifies communication. It reduces the time needed for meetings or chats. Nozbe simply touches all the bases. It facilitates GTD-based task management, delegation of tasks and task-based communications beautifully. You can create tasks from emails, convert tasks into projects, share comments, checklists, documents and other information through comments to tasks and do so many other things. It integrates with your calendars and its own calendar view is a fantastic tool for your weekly review. And, you will see the same interface on your iPhone, Android-based device, Windows-based PC and Mac. The ownership is responsive, available -- and has balls. Support is also wonderful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Nozbe? The price of Nozbe is absolutely reasonable, but some folks may be put off simply by the fact that it charges anything. I have never understood why folks think that a program that is given away or one-payment based is a program that will last. It will not. Nozbe has a huge base of subscribers, but it is not as big as Todoist or Omnifocus. Yet, it has developed and improved on a continuous basis for more than a decade precisely because it is built on a sustainable model financially. As a user, that is what I want. I understand, however, that some may still only be interested in free programs. You sell yourself short doing that, but, if that is your key criteria, then the free edition of Nozbe is probably too limited for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Vacuum the waiting room could be assigned to both of my admin team members and then the first one to do it can check it off of BOTH of their lists. I compensate for this with the tagging system. Nozbe allows you to keep on top of every project, even projects shared with others, and to stay on task. Instead of finding an email, text or other communication, everything you need is nested inside of Nozbe. The ability to attach documents from Google or Drop box makes it seamless when working with projects. When you set up the project, you are encouraged to take the "next action" so even if you have 100 steps, you don't feel overwhelmed and continue to make progress.
