## About Nextpoint
Nextpoint is a cloud-based legal technology platform that helps mid-sized legal teams manage the full litigation lifecycle, from ediscovery through case building and trial preparation, in one unified solution. The platform combines document review, data processing, depositions, and transcript management, and presentation tools with on-demand expert services, giving legal teams a single system of record from discovery to decision. Built for attorneys, paralegals, and additional legal professionals, Nextpoint replaces the patchwork of point solutions and outside vendors that legal teams have traditionally stitched together or avoided entirely across the case lifecycle. Firms can upload and store unlimited data without fees, accelerate document review with intuitive workflows and AI-assisted search, organize evidence and flag key witness materials, and move directly into their final argument without exporting between tools and risking the security of privileged client data. Nextpoint moves your matter forward with both software and an in-house services team of attorneys, legal technology experts, and data specialists. When the case calls for it, engage Nextpoint's experts for data uploads, productions, review management, or full case oversight—scaling support up or down as matters evolve with no commitment. Key capabilities include: •Unified ediscovery and case-building workflows: Process, review, produce, and present evidence on one platform, eliminating data migrations between discovery and trial. •AI-powered features built for litigation: Surface relevant documents across large case sets with natural language search or generate instant summaries of deposition transcripts — reducing review hours and accelerating case analysis. •Predictable, all-inclusive pricing: Unlimited data uploads, processing, hosting, and user seats for co-counsel, experts, and external collaborators are included in every plan. •Expert services on demand: Flat-rate litigation support packages and legal services through Nextpoint Law Group are available when internal capacity is constrained. •Dedicated Client Success and white-glove support: Get started fast with extensive product support, on-demand self-paced training modules, and live office hours included in every plan. Nextpoint serves law firms handling commercial litigation, employment, mass tort and class-action, construction, insurance defense, and IP. The platform is designed for firms that need enterprise-grade ediscovery and trial preparation capabilities, reliable security, and unlimited data hosting without the tech-savvy staffing overhead, multi-vendor coordination, or unpredictable invoices typical of legacy technology.

## Nextpoint Reviews
  ### 1. Nextpoint is an Awesome Database

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

The ease of use, the ease of uploading documents and most importantly, the support from the Nextpoint team

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I would like to be able to specifically create the type of privilege log that we need with the columns that we need. Other than that, there is nothing that I dislike.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The organization of files from large data dumps from clients

  ### 2. Large document review friendly!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel W. | Senior Counsel, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I found myself a frequent Nextpoint user after some unanticipated document reviews. I am a big fan of the bulk code and tagging feature, the syntax search builder and the ability to customize searches by tags and coding as you review (unlike other platforms that require tags on the front end). I created my own user view to swiftly navigate the documents without changing the default view for the other users. I enjoy the custom redaction tools and the ability to quickly create a privilege log. The dynamic user activity tracking feature helps me keep track of how long I spend reviewing a document - this comes in handy at the end of a long document review. If you don't find Nextpoint intuitive, the customer support is spectacular.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I wish the instant document previewer showed more than the first page of the document so I could browse the entire document on preview

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learnable for non-tech savy users and cost effective solution for clients for large data storage and document review

  ### 3. One of the best Litigation Support Platforms I've used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas B. | Paralegal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint's self service feature, by passing the need to send client documents to the vendor or lock a document production 2-3 days before a production is to be made is a time saver. On top of that when I do run into issues, our Client Success Director, Sibrey McManus is quick to jump on our problems and is an absolute joy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

The only downsides to Nextpoint, and I've discussed all of these with them and they are being worked on is the artifical divide between Discovery (document review and production) and Litigation (transcripts, trial prep and presentation). While it was a good idea on paper, as a practical matter it doesn't really work. I know Nextpoint is working to merge their two database products into one unified platform and look forward to that in the coming months. Additionally, and this is a minor nitpick, their Zendesk powered "help" chat button floats at the bottom of the screen, covering up real estate in use while there is a bar at the top of the screen that the help button could be pinned to. Again, something they recognize and are workign to actually replace with an AI powered help module.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before adopting Nextpoint my current firm was using Casemap for document productions. This is NOT what Casemap was designed for and was a poor tool for the job. Now, I can process, review and produce documents with ease.

  ### 4. Best mix of complexity and ease of use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Douglas B. | Head of Litigation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Currently use Nextpoint only for its document production and review capabilities (not for managing trial presentations or trial notebooks). Have used many of its competitors and have good knowledge about running large document production cases. Nextpoint has found a good sweet spot between providing good functionality and ease of use. I have used some software products that are extremely easy to use, but do not have the ability to do much custom formatting or dealing with document productions that do not fit within their specific ways of doing things. This is especially important to me dealing with IP cases, where the document productions can often deal with odd file formats or productions from non-standard systems. While Nextpoint does have some limitations on things it can do, I never ran into any issues that I couldn't overcome and with less time than it would take to run a much more complex document production system. I am managing a boutique firm that isn't dealing with terabytes of data (all of my productions and reviews tend to be a few gigabytes or less of potentially responsive documents). Once you get a feel for how things are done on Nextpoint, it is very low maintance and can be easily managed by a skilled paralegal.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Like most document production systems, there is required ramp up time to get an understanding of its workflow and how it handles documents (folders, production sets, etc.) However, I don't think that this is any different than any other system. It currently doesn't have any AI systems for searching/tagging potentially relevant documents, but I have always been skeptical of those systems anyways.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reasonable priced service for handling document productions for a firm that does non-trivial amount of litigation work.

  ### 5. NextPoint is excellent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

The ability to quickly and effectively review and make notes about documents that we have received in discovery.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I don't like the number of steps it takes to accomplishing some routine tasks--and it would be helpful to be able to customize or set up macros to remove extra steps.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing effective review and production of documents in discovery.

  ### 6. Great slot for the stack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

We've been using Nextpoint on a quotidian basis for more than four years now. It's very easy to train new users on and offers powerful functionality for a more modest price than more monolithic solutions aimed at monolothic institutions. The ability to upload as much data as we care to has been extremely helpful for as long as we've used this product.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Their search funcitonality has evolved in ways we have diverged slightly from, but I've been very impressed by the degree of responsiveness their customer support and technical teams have shown in incorporating our feedback.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have a unified eDiscovery platform before we implemented Nextpoint; now we do. My colleagues have been very pleased with the results I have provided them for several years now thanks to Nextpoint.

  ### 7. Easy User Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joneice A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I liked being able to bulk code. Often there are documents that are not relevant to the project but take up a huge part of the folders. I appreciate being able to code those documents and move on without additional resources taking up time going through those documents. Another good aspect of Nextpoint is the customer focus approach. I have never had an e-discovery software company spend so much time making sure I was comfortable with the product.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I am not sure there is a downside to using Nextpoint. Likely, I would say that having more access to self-pace learning videos would be helpful. There are times when you want to be able to learn more about a platform on my own time.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identifying mass documents for litigation. Nextpoint allows for flexible document review workflow to happen. The visualization graphics for your databased statistics are so innovative.

  ### 8. Zoom changed how I do depositions and Nextpoint changed how I do Discovery.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint allows me to gather all discovery and organize it in the manner needed to prepare for trial. Its an all in one from review, bates, marking documents privileged or confidential and highlighting or redacting. Preparing for depos is much easier and even adding documents on the fly during a depo is possible with nextpoint.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

When I send productions to other law firms, some find downloading the zip files difficult.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

If you want to use a system for all of your files without a worry you will pay for each additional feature or GB then Nextpoint should be the solution you choose.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reviewing tens of thousands of documents is not as daunting as it used to be and examining them to prepare for a depo is easier than the system we previously used. During Zoom depos the system lets me find and show documents I may not have thought needed and can introduce them seamlessly.

  ### 9. Very intuitive and great customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolyn L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

The software is very intuitive and easy to use. It does a great job with native files, especially emails (extracting the metadata and converting the emails to PDF without inserting weird characters for apostrophes or other common marks). I love how it is customizable for each case. The support team is always responsive any time I need assistance.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Whenever I import searchable PDFs for review and bates numbering, the exported PDFs are no longer searchable. Yes, you can export a text file with them, but not every law firm or expert witness (or whoever I'm sending documents to) uses software to marry the image and text files.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a paralegal, I use Nextpoint to review and prepare documents for production and to review and code records produced by other parties. It's a great way to keep everything organized and isolate the relevant documents by issue.

  ### 10. User friendly & intuitive software that gets the job done!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie C. | Paralegal Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint has unlimited data, which has been very helpful for us. We don't have to think about which cases and data sets we will use it for; we just use it for everything that makes sense! Also, it is very user-friendly and intuitive. The search features are not overly complicated and always get the information necessary.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

The redaction process can use a little work. Sometimes it is challenging to redact multiple. small pieces of information but the awesome customer service and developers at nextpoint have promised that this process will be improved soon!

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nextpoint has solved the problem of where to store large data sets and how to make them easily searchable for multiple users in our firm. They have also solved the problem of efficiently reviewing and producing large data sets. They have changed the game for us!

  ### 11. Excellent Product with Responsive Technical Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

In my view, NextPoint's biggest strength is that it's user-friendly and intuitive, even for less technologically savvy users. We have users in our firm who have adapted well to NextPoint and found it to be very user-friendly. More importantly, the library of up-to-date articles on NextPoint's website provides clear, helpful troubleshooting instructions. On a few occasions, we have needed immediate support from NextPoint's support team. Every time, they have very responsive and have helped us resolve whatever issue we were facing. I have used other e-discovery and document review platforms, and I think NextPoint far exceeds them all.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I wish the "Theater Mode" for presenting exhibits would be more intuitive. While it's a great feature, it takes a lot of practice to learn. I wish there would be some way to share the screen with a more user-friendly interface for navigating exhibits within Theater Mode. Also, I wish NextPoint would have an app for iPads.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NextPoint offers an excellent solution for reviewing and producing large volumes of documents in litigation. It also offers a strong program for analyzing deposition transcripts and videos.

  ### 12. Review of Nextpoint

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

As a newcomer to eDiscovery, Nextpoint allowed me to grasp the essentials of eDiscovery on a very hands-on basis. Their training videos are great, and the support staff is very responsive and understanding of any questions or issues when encountered.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint sometimes is not compatible with other eDiscovery platforms. It only takes a certain type of load files with makes it that I sometimes run into issues when wanting to import load files from other parties.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document organization and review of documents.

  ### 13. Great Analytics and very user friendly online review software with customizable folders!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint has very good analytics and is a very user friendly online review software than others I have worked with. Can customizes and group documents into easily viewable folders for keyword search results, user review groups, and document productions. Has nice data import/overlay field mapping interface too.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Takes longer than other hosting software products to import data since Nextpoint images all the files upon import instead of keeping them as native.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to image Excels within software and redact Excels natively.

  ### 14. NextPoint is the best value ediscovery software on the market.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathryn B. | Litigation Paralegal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

NextPoint is the most user-friendly and easy-to-use eDiscovery software on the market while offering all the features of the most advanced and complex programs. Rarely when we run into an issue, NextPoint is easy to get in contact with to resolve any issues. NextPoint is also one of the few eDiscovery programs on the market that allow us to tailor our billing and invoices by matter. The ability to collaborate with experts, co-counsel, clients, etc. on NextPoint is incredible. The intuitive feel of NextPoint makes it a readily available tool for our firm.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

NextPoint does not currently have a predictive coding feature. This feature would significantly reduce review times and has become a standard feature of eDiscovery in today's legal world. Other than this one request, I'm overall a very happy NextPoint customer and highly recommend it to any size firm around the country.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily utilize NextPoint for eDiscovery. Compared to the prior programs, NextPoint is significantly more user-friendly and straightforward. We save a significant amount of time using NextPoint for productions and document reviews that we previously would have. We have not taken advantage of the trial and litigation features yet.

  ### 15. Nextpoint G-2

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Very user friendly and intuitive! I love that I can search just like in Google and limit my searches to certain file types

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I wish it had a feature where I could group certain highlighted documents

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us get exhibits for trial ready so much faster

  ### 16. Nextpoint the fast way to discover data in the cloud

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucy J. | Associate Director Strategy & Insights, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

It has a duplicate detection tool, which allows us to locate and discover the documents we already have, to avoid uploading them again to our files. It also allows the digitization of documents, to be able to take all the information we have on paper, to the digital plane, in order to have a better organization. It allows to store the documents and to group and classify them by subject, to be able to find them easily.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

It can be a little slow downloading the data and documents found, probably my internet connection. Some search filters are not so good, as it does not get the documents we ask it to search, even with keywords and tags. Still, the system says that the document is not found. When I am searching for documents for a long time, that I want to go back to the back page, it does not allow me to do so, but returns me to the main page, which wastes my time.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

This is an ideal software for companies that need to discover and collect data and documents in the cloud, since its database is very large and its search engines are very effective to find the data needed. Thanks to Nextpoint our department works with more resources, achieving a better performance.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using the software to get data, reports and documents, searched and found in the cloud, quickly and in high quality. It has powerful built-in keyword, full-text and filtered search engines that allow us to find just what we need. This has been a very useful software for our work in the office, as it allows us to have an extensive database, which makes it easy to obtain documents in the cloud, which are very useful for our activities and for making strategic decisions within the company. We found it to be very intuitive, with a friendly and navigable interface.

  ### 17. Abel's Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abel A. | Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I love the staff and the support team. Nextpoint has excellent Customer Service. The team always gives me an answer and solution whenever I have a problem. Staff such as Spencer, Disa, Sonali, and David Daskal have made the user experience run smoothly for me.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I dislike the exporting process. It takes too long and fails depending on various factors. Especially if there are too many volumes or documents contained in a single file. If I ever have an emergency, this might become a huge issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

Use it for all your discovery and production needs! It's an amazing software and program unlike many other that every law firm could benefit from using. I would highly recommend it to other other companies outside of the areas of law for its unique and cool features.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discovery and Production. This is the best part of Nextpoint. If I need to produce any discovery, if I need to stamp or endorse any documents, if I need to set up my production with an ESI protocol, if I need to share or send my discovery, Nextpoint is hands down the best software and tools for these purposes. Everything from the load files to the templates and coding makes the discovery process so much easier and quicker to produce.

  ### 18. I love working with Nextpoint!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Howard W. | Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

It has a clean and straightforward appearance, so it is easy to find things, but the support and willingness to listen to customer suggestions is incomparable.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I know they are working on making the tools easier to use when working within a document, which I am looking forward to very much.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are organizing large volumes of documents, which makes them easier to search and more likely to find critical information quicker.

  ### 19. NextPoint is an incredibly powerful, easy to use eDiscovery tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

The review tools allow a single user to quickly review, assess, and produce tens of thousands of emails or documents.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

The import tool for ranged productions can be tricky.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

If your document review and production needs consist of lots of emails or other files, NextPoint is a huge time saver.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of manually converting .msg or .pst files, NextPoint has allowed us to dump the documents into a single repository for review and production. This has saved countless hours of associate and paralegal time.

  ### 20. Fairly user friendly program

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I have never used a discovery or document management platform before so don't have much background knowledge or training so I like that after minimal instruction Nextpoint is fairly user friendly and intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

We have a set number of licenses, and it is sometimes hard to accurately keep track of how many users at my firm have already used it for the month. I would like a way to clearly know at all times (or even prevent additional users at my firm from logging on) if we have already used our maximum number of monthly licenses to avoid trigger additional costs and fees. I also find the delay of several business days to import documents and then another several days to export my documents to serve a discovery production is a bit time consuming so sometimes makes it hard for me to get my documents out to opposing counsel quickly.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I enjoy how easy it is to search through the entire production for any term and that all documents are OCRed when in the database. This saves an infinite amount of time.

  ### 21. Above and beyond expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Responsive support, intuitive interface, simple, quick endorsement of documents.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Inability to search through, and toggle between search text in the image layer of a document when reviewing.

Additionally, the option to perform bulk updates to custom picklist fields without overwriting field contents is needed. Currently, when a bulk update to a custom picklist field is applied to two or more documents, any existing data in those picklists will be overwritten. I'd like the option, of what I've seen referred to as a "Fill Overlay/Update", where only picklist options that are blank are affected by the bulk update, and any existing data is left as is.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been able to produce and endorse documents far more quickly. The pricing model allows us to work with massive amounts of data at low cost. The ability to customize the coding fields is a vast improvement over our previous e-discovery vendor.

  ### 22. Best tool available for deposition designations!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Easy to use. I especially like the color coding of issues

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I wish the deposition transcripts would scroll through, instead of only page by page clicking

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminates confusion when designating deposition testimony. Produces extremely useful reports quickly.

  ### 23. Nextpoint Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carol P. | Senior Paralegal

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint is a great program. It OCRs documents, it is cost-effective with data, it is on the cloud so I can be productive anywhere and not need to be in the office for long hours. The support team is helpful. And finally, the training videos - excellent step-by-step guidance.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I wouldn't say dislike, but more of a burden - when uploading documents into the file room, we are doing so in an organized and structured form; however, when we import into the database, all that organization is lost.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nextpoint has helped with a time-efficient method to review large amounts of documents and produce documents quickly.

  ### 24. Makes so much sense!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I like being able to search for specific words or phrases, and seeing all documents where those terms may appear (even handwritten documents). I also love that there is a log of who opens exports and when, once exports are shared.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

It can be overwhelming at first, and the folder structure is not entirely intuitive at first (how a single document can be in multiple folders). But once you figure it out, it's actually amazing - no duplicating documents, and you're able to find a document in any of the places you would want it to be!

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nextpoint to produce documents. It's useful to have a record of who is receiving what documents and when - and there's always automatic documentation showing this history.

  ### 25. NextPoint is a Robust Platform for Discovery and Document Storage

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven S. | Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

The first thing that I love is that documents are automatically OCR'd during upload. Not having to OCR what can be thousands of documents from a client or attorney is such a hassle and the automatic function is great. I also love the features for redaction which is as simple as drawing a box over what you want gone. The folder and search system takes a bit of effort to master but is very detailed when you need it.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Not viewing native files is a problem but I have been assured that they are slowly rolling out a native file viewer eventually.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The NextPoint database allows for vast storage for multiple cases and makes looking through discovery way easier than it used to be.

  ### 26. Fast and Efficient E-Discovery Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint's speed surpasses most other e-discovery software and I have yet to see another vendor that can match or come close to its pricing.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

There are some aspects that require technical expertise and it is not as user-friendly as some other options.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using it for e-discovery needs and very helpful to provide price predictability to our clients.

  ### 27. Very informative for someone who's new at this program

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennie S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I liked the realtime illustrations of walking through the features and different ways to receive, review and produce documents. Since there's so many different ways of viewing documents, I liked the explanation and the pace (it wasnt done in a rush)

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I dont feel like there's anything I dont dislike so far. I feel more of these type sessions would be beneficial since there's always new ways to handle reviews, production, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

No other recommendations I can think of at this moment

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I realized that Nextpoint is definitely user friendly especially for someone like me but I am still feeling a little overwhelmed since it is a brand new program for someone like me that's new to this

  ### 28. Excellent SAAS option for end-to-end eDiscovery

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Very user friendly. Allows me to run a case from start to finish. Solid technical support when needed. Pricing is very competitive and not GB-based.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I don't dislike anything. User-friendly improvements are being made all the time.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

A great choice for law firms looking for an end-to-end eDiscovery platform that is easy to use and allows you to control eDiscovery costs.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing large incoming and outgoing productions. Attorneys like the user-friendly review platform. Controlling eDiscovery costs for our firm and clients.

  ### 29. User-friendly platform and helpful support staff.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

The support services, particularly Krista Hylbak, are incredibly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Price increases and poor options for formatting redactions.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not applicable.

  ### 30. Underwhelmed

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

It has a relatively straightforward and easy to understand main interface.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Not many features. Tagging and folders are pretty rudimentary, and it's very hard to organize and efficiently review duplicated documents. Also the search syntax is very simplistic.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nextpoint for document review in litigation.

  ### 31. Training and support are exceptional!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghann W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I am very impressed by the ongoing training offerings by NextPoint. There are weekly training sessions you can register for, in addition to a selection of training packages you can purchase which are tailored to the specific needs of your firm. NextPoint gives their customers every opportunity to stay up to date on product offerings and understanding of the product to get the most out of it. I am also very happy with my main contacts, Sibrey and Disa. They are fun to work with and very knowledgeable!

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

At the beginning when we first got NextPoint we were struggling and didn't feel like we really knew how to properly use the product. We felt like we were on our own to figure it out. But once we voiced our concerns, a team of experts took us under their wing and made sure we knew of the training opportunities available. This made all the difference for us! Since then, it has been great.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

When looking at other products, we were very pleased with NextPoint's pricing structure. Most competitors charge for the amount of data you are importing. Rather than charging for data, NextPoint charges for user licenses. Additionally, this is evaluated every month so if a user does not access the system that month, they are not charged.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our paralegals are able to organize extremely large data sets and find information in a much more timely manner.

  ### 32. Nextpoint is a great ediscovery and trial presentation platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate F. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint is great because of the very affordable pricing options that allow us to pass through to clients for a fraction of what other platforms charge, unlimited data storage options for raw data (which is great for helping clients preserve before discovery begins), the ability to process the data quickly, easy user interface (which is easy for inexperienced users to learn), and a very easy to use and convenient trial presentation software that works great for Zoom depositions and hearings. Also, the Nextpoint team is very responsive and invested in its customers.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

The ability to organize data is not as comprehensive as I'd like--there is only a single folder structure and limit to the number of issue tags. However, Nextpoint was very responsive to customer input and has made many upgrades.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Firm did not have an ediscovery solution, most lawyers were still producing PDFs, and only used an ediscovery platform in very large cases where the client could afford to engage a vendor to host and manage the database. Now we have an easy solution that even our older partners are adopting, allowing us to keep up with and in many cases surpass opposing counsel in our technology skills and compliance with ediscovery rules. We are also able to use it for storing and managing nonlitigation matters (such as internal investigations) without incurring expense on behalf of our clients.

  ### 33. Helpful and knowledgeable staff make learning and using Nextpoint very manageable.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint has great online resources with helpful videos, tutorials, and articles for nearly any question that arises. If I can't find the answer online, whenever I have called or emailed, the staff are very responsive. They are a great team with real customer service agents who can be reached by telephone or email when needed. They are constantly striving to better their services to help their customers - whether it be through free online continuing education courses or letting you know their team will review new issues in order to resolve them.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Like any product, if you aren't using it on a regular basis, it can be overwhelming to navigate. However, it does get easier the more you use it.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

I would highly recommend Nextpoint to anyone looking for an easy to use, cost-effective eDiscovery platform.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While working remotely - Nextpoint has helped our firm easily share documents between staff, our clients and with opposing counsel with little to no hassle.

  ### 34. Helpful tool, but not very easy to use

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I like the filtering system and that there are so many ways to search through the documents.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Error messages can be unpredictable and difficult to understand and resolve.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's especially beneficial for privilege reviews and producing documents.

  ### 35. Nextpoint = Hands Down, the Best and Most Cost-Effective e-Discovery Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Over the course of my career, I have worked with all of the most well-known e-Discovery platforms and believe that Nextpoint is far and away the best investment. Nextpoint's pricing is beyond competitive for all its offerings. In three years of using Nextpoint, I have found it incredibly easy to use, and there hasn't been a single moment I've found myself needing any utility beyond Nextpoint's capabilities. The interface is highly intuitive, and Nextpoint is second-to-none when it comes to dedicated client service. I would urge any civil litigators (or really, any lawyers for whom the use of documentary evidence is integral to their practice) to consider Nextpoint. Most folks have only used one or two e-Discovery platforms, so allow me to make this simple... Between Nextpoint and Relativity, the choice is an easy one: Nextpoint, hands down.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

There is nothing about Nextpoint that I have found to be lacking in any way. And when I have made suggestions directly to Nextpoint about ways in which they could improve their platform, they have not only listened, but actually effectuated the desired improvements.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

I would welcome others to contact me to discuss the benefits of using Nextpoint, and cannot speak highly enough of the platform, all its tools, and importantly, the results-driven Nextpoint team that time and again goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure clients like me are satisfied.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nextpoint is unquestionably fulfilling all my e-Discovery needs at this time. I have managed several large document reviews using Nextpoint's platform (both for substance and for privilege), and through the user-friendly coding interface, I've significantly reduced the time I otherwise might have had to invest using a different platform when the times have come to fetch useful evidence to use as exhibits.

  ### 36. User Friendly Software -- Even For The Most Tech Challenged Lawyers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** April J. F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

NextPoint is a fantastic litigation support and e-discovery management software. It's user interface is easy to use and the NextPoint tech team/support group is second to none. Document review and data management has never been easier. I love the ability to be able to folder key sets of documents and organize them in a way that is useful to the trial team. The database is blazing fast and I love that I can access it from my phone, iPad, or any web browser.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

For more sophisticated users, there are limitations on back end control and customization. However, I believe that is something that is being addressed so I look for that to be changed in future releases.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

Great software for the price point! I have used and/or demo'd almost every litigation support software on the market and this is by far one of my favorites for the price point.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NextPoint is the perfect solution for small to mid-size law firms, making it the perfect software for me to recommend to my clients who have a conservative budget for e-discovery/data management solutions.

  ### 37. Great program with excellent features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

The NextPoint software is designed specifically for law firms and helps clearly and securely organize client documents to prepare them for review and production. It has a wide variety of useful features that you can choose whether or not to utilize, but the full extent of the data modeling, review platform, and separate production databases make it a crucial asset when managing large numbers of cases.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I would like to be able to create subfolders since it is confusing to have thousands of documents appear when you pull up a single folder. I like that the folders are just tags, but it still would be helpful to have a further way of sorting. Also, while the wide variety of available features likely contributes to this, there is a fairly steep learning curve to be able to utilize the software to the fullest extent.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

The support section is great. Nextpoint support offers free webinars and videos, along with detailed support pages to answer both small and complex questions. Their support team is passionate about the product and responsive to requests. I would highly recommend the webinars, as they provide a great deal of useful information about utilizing the full extent of the platform's features.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to quickly and easily review documentation, highlight, redact, add notes, and share. The secure system has enabled us to collect large numbers of files and review them in batches.

  ### 38. A very useful tool for e-Discovery

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Associate Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I like the ability to compile and organize vast amounts of ESI into a manageable and searchable format. In addition, being able to add responsive issue tags that appear on the cloud-based software and can be viewed by all members of my team working on a given case is very useful for quickly finding certain documents or a group of documents relating to a specific category. For example, it is very useful to be able to quickly pull documents authored by a certain witness during a deposition. Likewise, it is easy to search through exhibits and find documents relating to various issues that may arise on the spot during a trial. In addition, the support and training staff are very helpful and knowledgeable when issues or confusion arises.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

I would like to see customizable shortcut hotkeys for coding documents in review. I wish that the de-duplication process was a bit more intuitive. There seems to be a small barrier to entry in utilizing the software-based approach to discovery that makes it more difficult to work the use of the software into the workflow of less technologically savvy users.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

Have someone on your team who you can designate as the key administrator/overseer of the administration of the program throughout your office. Preferably someone with experience working with technology.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deal with large cases containing tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of pages of electronic discovery regularly, being able to review, BATES and produce these documents with a few clicks is critical. Utilizing Nextpoint has saved me an immense amount of time and hassle in avoiding scanning through a huge set of produced documents and/or folders when on the spot and looking for specific issues or individuals.

  ### 39. Great E-Discovery Platform for Small Firms/Self-Users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint enables small firms to manage complex e-discovery in-house, even in cases that involves tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of pages. Avoids the extremely high cost of e-discovery vendors. I also like NextPoint oas compared to other e-discovery platforms because of its flat rate monthly pricing model. We host a high amount of data on NextPoint that would be cost prohibitive for platforms that have per-gigabyte pricing models.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Does have an initial steep learning curve (especially with regard to uploading and processing load file-type productions), but NextPoint provides plenty of guides, seminars, and customer support to overcome that.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

If you plan on using your e-discovery platform to host lots of data, then NextPoint should be high on your list. If you only plan on using it for small or sporadic projects, then the pricing model might not make sense for you.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use NextPoint as an e-discovery platform to upload, review, and process both our document productions and our opponent's document productions. Through NextPoint, we've been able to bring all e-discovery, even cases with hundreds of thousands of documents, in house (instead of paying thousands of dollars per month for e-discovery vendors).

Document production is very straightforward with Nextpoint.

  ### 42. We use this at work and I like it.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Quick and accurate search results, including pinpoints to hits.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Custom view does not save column widths.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Doc review and deposition searches.

  ### 43. Useful and worthwhile though difficult to navigate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Nextpoint makes it easy to organize, review, stamp, and endorse documents

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

The interface is not intuitive and it seems to take multiple steps to get to a particular setting or task

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

Take the time to learn the systems

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nextpoint helps with discovery review and production, it also helps keep track of deposition exhibits

  ### 44. Excellent Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I like how easy it is to search thousands of documents; even documents with hard-to-read text.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Some features require training/ contacting tech support.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NextPoint has helped to sort through an otherwise impossible amount of documents.

  ### 45. Very functional and user friendly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Easy to term search. Easy to assign radio buttons, made selecting groups easier.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

UI is a little cluttered. Could have more intuitive menus.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

Great service. Highly functional platform.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great for storage and cross referencing documents. Did not get to use all the features in this case though.

  ### 46. Nextpoint is a user-friendly affordable option that can be customized for any case.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nina H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

I like Nextpoint's ease of use and the ability to customize. It is also very nice being able to do your own uploads & customization.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

The lack of predictive searches/review & multiple highlight color options on theatre view can hinder our ability to convince other firms to use it -- despite it not being all that useful in certain cases.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nextpoint has been great for our smaller/lower value cases that need an organized way to host & review documents but without expensing giant ESI bills. And if those same cases go to trial, the cost-effective theatre view allows you to put on a high-tech case for the jury without the expenditure of a trial tech.

  ### 47. Our firm has found Nextpoint to be extremely helpful.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Our last product was on premise. The fact that Nextpoint is in the cloud and not only can our attorneys access it anywhere, but they can easily share documents with experts and outside counsel.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

There are only two things I think of. The first is really not a big deal but we have quite a few cases and it would be nice to have the projects alphabetically. The only other thing is that we have come across a few times when opposing counsel has sent an overlay file. We don't have the ability to import these ourselves. Having said that, tech support has been very helpful in taking care of these for us.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

We are using their subscription premium which gives our firm unlimited users and data (and of course access to their excellent tech support). I recommend this to others.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think the bulk of my tickets has been either there was an issue importing the documents (due to the load file from opposing counsel being incorrect), importing an overlay or informational (for example, learning the best way to share productions). It's so easy to create new project, assign users, bate stamp documents, create productions, search and tag documents, etc.

  ### 48. Excellent Review Platform that has the Most User Friendly Experience We've Seen To Date

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

The program is exceptionally user friendly and the support team is great to work with when you have questions. They have also been very responsive and great to work with when there are suggestions on how to improve things and their implementation of the feature requests happens in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

There are a few functions that we as admins had the ability to perform in our past review platforms (example: coding overlays) that we currently have to send to the support team to complete. It's my understanding though that they are working towards making these functions available to admins in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

If you're looking for a platform that is easy for your users to learn and use on a regular basis this program is perfect for your needs.

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest benefits to the program for us is the ability to share documents or search results to other users without having to export them. This particular feature goes a long way towards helping us combat duplicates in databases and has helped us guide new users to the program that may not have worked in a review platform previously.

  ### 49. NextPoint has been very helpful with searching large document productions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

It's very easy to upload and search documents

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

Amount of time needed for training to fully utilize the software

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NextPoint has cut down on the amount of time it takes to locate key documents

  ### 50. Good experience. Bit of a learning curve but very useful.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Nextpoint?**

Coding that allows for easy access and reference to documents

**What do you dislike about Nextpoint?**

The inability to code several documents in a row as the same thing without going out of the document and manually selecting each one.

**Recommendations to others considering Nextpoint:**

Definitely recommend

**What problems is Nextpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency in document review
