**What do you like best about Hoppier?**

I love the ability to customize the experience with our branding, set specific budget limits, and recover unused funds. I appreciate the wide range of supported vendors, both national and local, which gives recipients flexibility.

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

One challenge we’ve encountered is with certain e-gift cards not accommodating larger catering orders, such as at Chipotle. In a few cases, we’ve had to cancel the cards and coordinate the order ourselves, which defeats the purpose of the platform.

**What problems is Hoppier solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoppier has made running Lunch and learns with prospective customers easier. Instead of coordinating food orders ourselves, we can send everything through the platform and give attendees the choice to order something that suites them. It takes the demand of figuring out logistics off of our team.

**What do you like best about Hoppier?**

I appreciate Hoppier's easy-to-use platform, which makes setting up programs straightforward and stress-free by simplifying the process of researching, branding, and shipping gifts. I find the quick response from customer support particularly helpful, especially as an admin, when resolving issues for both domestic and international staff. I also love that Hoppier gift cards are easy to brand, and this has been a significant part of why I use the platform.

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

I was not advised on the fact that our staff in Pakistan could not use their cards. This was the biggest problem. The cost for 1 year for 100 invitations is very high, and if I wanted to get the next level of subscription, it was almost double the price. Each individual invitation was an additional $6 over the 100 that came with my subscription, which makes it difficult to choose Hoppier for all gift card needs.

**What problems is Hoppier solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hoppier to send gift cards to employees, solving shipping costs for international staff. It's easy to set up programs, and the quick customer support helps when there are issues using the gift cards.

**What do you like best about Hoppier?**

Their customer service is absolutely phenomenal! They will go above and beyond to fix any issue you may have. I truly believe this is what sets them apart from the competition today.

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

As an end-user it could be more complicated to activate a gift card you receive and use it, but from a company's perspective (we used it for our clients) it was a great experience and nothing bad to say at all.

so we have teams all cross the globe and getting them a gift or perhaps lunch paid was complicated before as we simply gifted them Amazon gift cards, but now with Hoppier we are able to send them gift card for food when we do our lunch and learn session and it's great!

It is a very useful platform, we use it to send virtual gifts to employees so that they can use the gift cards in the store they want and in a very simple way they link it and make their purchase without any inconvenience and their customer service is wonderful, they are always active to help at any time no matter what time it is

They have an impressive catalog of gift cards that you can use for sending rewards to colleagues/customers across the globe. We did not face many issues with the software but every time we reached out to their support team, they were super helpful.

Only the US dollar is supported at this time, which can be a little confusing since we were sending rewards internationally and people don't necessarily use US currency.

Creating virtual gift cards quickly and easily to send them to customers and teammates. We used this a lot for our quarterly top-performers picks.

**What do you like best about Hoppier?**

The interface of the website is easy to use and straightforward. I liked that the explanation of how to use my virtual card was right there. Also, their customer service was excellent in helping me solve my issue.

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

I didn't have any real issue with Hoppier, I did run into a slight confusion that I eventually figured out, but it wasn't intuitive at first. Moving the value of my gift card to my iPhone was at first confusing because the link to the directions took me to Apple's website. Once on the website, it took me a bit to figure out I had to move the value by adding the virtual gift card as a new debt card. I was expecting to be able to transfer my value and not add a new card to Apple Wallet.

Hoppier helps create virtual gift cards quickly and efficiently for clients/customers. I benefited from Hoppier because I was a client of another service that used Hoppier to send our team free lunch for attending their webinar.

**What do you like best about Hoppier?**

Hoppier has been a lifesaver for ordering lunches for 30+ people! It would be a logistical nightmare if we had to order for everyone individually.

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

The downside is the $6 fee of course, especially in cases where we have a person that has won 2 prizes and we either have to give them two different cards at $6 each or create another separate program to give them a higher amount on one $6 card.

**What problems is Hoppier solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our entire company is remote/working from home. We discovered Hoppier at a time when we were having our first big workshop for our supervisors and we needed a way to get lunch to them all easily with a certain limit and also limit it to just restaurants vs. other gift cards that might allow liquor, etc. We also needed an easy way to give out gift cards as prizes without having to just add cash on to people's checks, which they barely are able to appreciate it that way. Hoppier was the perfect solution!

The program setup is not user-friendly. I often lose progress on the email drafts because it prompts me to go to another screen.  
After a program, you are not credited for the remaining balance - it just sits in your account. 
Emails sent for programs often come up in spam.

Hoppier provides me with more options for providing virtual team meals for meetings.  It also gives flexibility for individuals who live in remote areas that do not have chains and door dash available.

**What do you like best about Hoppier?**

Hoppier is so easy to setup, customize, and manage from the admin side. The user end is also very easy to follow and use. All the competitor apps had some sort of hangup, and we have not found any with Hoppier!

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

The only thing that has not worked well is the yearly expiring contract and needing to buy more cards to keep remaining invitations. It would be nice to have a more customizable contract renewal or remove the expiration.

I searched for over a year for a meal card that would be customizable to fit our virtual attendees needs and internal expense guidelines. We have had a ton of positive reviews using Hoppier.

We had been distributing gift cards to team members individually before we found Hoppier - it was a time consuming effort before team events. Hoppier has saved us all that wasted time by letting us do so in bulk!

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

I dislike that you have to make sure to set up your program a couple of days in advance, so the funds will be available; there was an instance where I tried to set it up the same day, and then the attendees had to wait until the day after our party to use their credit because the account didn't have available funds yet. Just takes advance prep/planning.

Digitally providing mass team member incentives for parties, new employee onboarding events and other occasions where we want to give the people an allotted amount to spend on food, drink, or something else they'd like to buy as a gift from the company!

How simple Hoppier is to use and manage from an admin perspective. I appreciate how responsive and helpful the staff are too. I have enjoyed working with Hoppier these past 2 years.

I had some issues with Hoppier adding more cards than I needed and then I asked them to refund me. I am not sure if my predecessor signed us up for a renewal or if the company just assumed we needed the same amount this year as we did last year. I did not get an explanation, but they quickly fixed the issue after I brought it up.

**What problems is Hoppier solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoppier solves the problem of us providing on-demand catering and rewards to staff who sit in offices across the country. Since COVID, we've had less in-person gatherings and Hoppier helps make virtual gatherings special. Our staff greatly appreciate Hoppier.

I dislike that sometimes local shops and retailers are not available on Hoppier, which sometimes ends up being the preferred vendor of Hoppier recipients. That said, I know they are constantly adding new vendors.

Hoppier help us solve the problem of sending gifts to internal and external stakeholders, either in the form of gifts or rewards, which is easier than trying to add additional money onto their paycheck.

Some vendors won't accept in the Philippines, but apart from that, all good I bet it's just here in the Philippines very limited still I am grateful whenever I get in touch with chat support. Everyone else is accommodating and efficient.

The upside of using Hoppier are the many merchants to choose from, controls over how recipients can spend the money, and the ability to get unspent funds back.

Some employees had trouble accessing the funds which is a less likely occur with traditional gift cards.

We were trying to find a way to motivate employees and keep them fed during long virtual meetings that were typically held in person, and Hoppier helped to make that possible.

That it is a one-stop option for gifting, prizes and incentives for our hybrid team located in various parts of the US and around the world. Also the ease of use for both the admins and the users is fantastic.

I don't like the lack of clarity in regard to the totals available in the account vs. the totals of gift cards that have been accepted/activated.

The Self-controlled platform and the ability add other vendors if / when needed. A great option to engage with employees and or customers. I would love to see a door to door option where you could order food to people and follow the delivery

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

Support is only working US hours
If you do a large program with a lot of invites you can't see the usage yourself but have to request for this all of the time
Renewal fee took me by surprise, and I might not renew going forward, as it seems strange if I have already paid for invitations that I need to order more just to keep the account running.

A option to give a gift that is not only an Amazon voucher and the ability to control the vendors for lunch meetings, etc.

We had issues finding something that worked for our US colleagues, as well as those internationally. A lot of our options would work in the US but not elsewhere. Hoppier makes it super easy with a Visa card.

The cost can add up due to the per card fee.

Team engagement and morale is positively impacted by awarding them with a Visa card to use however they'd like.

No phone support, I'm not a fan of having to email or chat when there's a problem that needs immediate attention.

Bringing teams together and building a spirit of inclusion has become more complex with the increase of remote/hybrid work.  Being able to have a virtual meal with remote workers is a great way to build interpersonal relationships.

The endless online merchant options are insane! And the 1 year expiration is very helpful if you can't make up your mind.

Sometimes the email invites get stuck in spam folder and recipients never get their email gift notification so i have to spend more admin time sending them links to their invite.

I like that Hoppier makes it easy to send gift cards to people. We are fully remote so to allow our employees, who are all over the country to pick what they want is really nice. It's pretty easy to use overall.

The invitations are a bit confusing. After you load money onto your program, you have to purchase invitations. Price is per invitation. And you have to do this with every program that you run.

Hoppier is making it so that we can send gift cards to our employees for holidays, parties, and contests. It helps with employee engagement.

User friendly. It's easy for us to reward and recognize remote employees. We've launched a lunch stipend which has been successful.

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

We had a couple of issues when we launched because employees were waiting until the last day to use their lunch stipend. The transaction was posted for the next month. But overall it's been great. We've asked employees to use their stipend a few days before the end of the month at least.

We're able to provide a more competitive package to employees in terms of benefits/total rewards.

Hoppier is user-friendly for the person facilitating the award and just as easy for the person receiving the reward. If there are any issues, the customer service is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Hoppier?**

There is really nothing to like about Hoppier. There were some initial concerns about not having physical cards but online purchases completely alleviated that concern.

Hoppier is an easy way to say thank you, reward extra effort or a job well done. The end user has the benefit of using it for whatever they would like (within your selections)

My second transaction was declined on Amazon. But kudos to the Hoppier support team for fixing the issue within a day.

Can't use a print off of the card.  Difficult to use the last few dollars or cents.

I like that it works for employees all across the US.

It can be a little hard to navigate the website - to order the gifts.

It allows us to give a universal gift (that works no matter where the employee is located).  Our employees are spread all over the US and all work remotely, so giving gifts can be complex.  I also like that it offers them LOTS of ways to cash in the gift!  More options is always better!

I enjoy the flexibility that Hoppier gives me in sending cards available for use wherever the employees wish to use them instead of locking them into a particular service.

Setting up the programs can be a little tricky — the UI is a little clunky, and I'd appreciate a more robust email editor within the program.

Something that I dislike is that sometimes users may experience barriers when trying to use their giftcard like a OTP or verification

I like that it makes sending giftcards globally an easy experience. While a good majority of the clients I serve are based in America, it's typically hard to share the same types of gifts/perks to counterparts who are located elsewhere, but Hoppier makes it possible!

I love how convenient it is for our company events. People can purchase their own supplies on their own time. LOVE that we get back what isn't spent.

Don't love the pricing for the invitations. Makes budgeting hard for events. People tend to get confused about in-store purchasing

Surprising teams with gift cards for a celebration or their hard work is great! Hoppier also has a great customer service team.

The application itself is overcomplicated. The UI isn't intuitive - it makes it difficult to add users to gift card amounts, view how many funds you have in your account, etc.
